I did not have an…read moreappointment, but was still able to sit down with their Vice President and Branch Manager, John Webb, with ten minutes of walking in. I consider that a win. It seems that these administrative tasks are becoming more complicated and time consuming. We were together at his Covid screened desk for more than 30 minutes as he worked through all the computer screens required for starting the account. Federal regulations are concerned with the legitimacy of the business and the source of funds. So, it wasn't Me. Webb's fault that so much information was demanded. Too, we were fortunate that I already had other accounts with the bank, and he was able to go into his data base for background data, like my federal ID number. Of course, I trust their cyber security is strong and regularly updated to protect my important data from ha king eyes. The account is up and running today and ready for use. I updated my IOLTA registration with the state supreme court as required, and am good to go. Whatever issues there were with the old account seem not to have been transferred to the new one. That's a relief. I appreciate they way John Webb took care of my business.

As far as attractive settings go, this Wells Fargo on Main Street, Yardley, Pa, is about as nice as…read morethey come. Several treed acres, with winding drive to the drive thru portico in the back. Pretty, cottage-like structure for tellers and loan officers. This branch is not nearest home, but a convenient stop when going to the Jersey office and avoiding the Scudder Falls Bridge which is often a parking lot weekday mornings between 7:30 - 9:00. Bagel Train is also nearby for when a great bagel and coffee are desired to start the day.

We used this branch for a remote mortgage closing and they did a really tip top job. This is not my bank, but I needed to make a deposit for a friend. I went there with the account…read morenumber, and the person helping me said that it was not an existing account. After going back home and reaching my friend and confirming that it was indeed the right number, I returned and that time the deposit worked... Go figure what happened? The people working behind the counter are basically machines. Don't expect unnecessary interactions, as they're just there for the job and couldn't care less about you. The parking lot is huge, so you'll always find a spot to park, but it is a challenge to get in and out on either side because of a constant incoming traffic.
