As someone who can admittedly get frustrated when dealing with larger institutions, and who has a natural paranoia for banks, she put me at ease and even offered that I reach out with questions about my financial goals in the future. That is not the issue here Today We would loved to open a new account, a New business account, and two safe deposit boxes as well. A simple process. After informing the nice Teller Our intentions We simple waited until an unkept man came from behind his desk as screamed 'What Do a you Want?' Whoa.... We asked him to try again with a better approach but repeated his yell again to Us. 'What do You want?' We asked he step away and said we'll simply cash another $5000 check and maybe someone else can help Us. Only the pleasant tellers helped Us. Received our cash and refused by management to even be afforded the chance to open a new account as previously stated. Told they did not want Our business. So, I have banks across the street at Centennial, Navy Federal, Hancock Whitney and Community next to Rouses,. Simply thought a bank that I move thousands through each week might like a high wealth client. So We told them that We will simply bring 20 of My friends, in separate transactions, to come and cash checks totaling over $500,000 in a single hour and The asst Mgr said You have to tell Us 10 days in advance before doing that. So, this bank obviously doesn't have enough $$ to cash simple $5000. Checks from separate individuals in separate transactions? I hope a Run on this bank does not take place? They can't cash simple checks and don't want Your business, only the fees! Guess when Fox News and the local ABC news is on scene on this hour from the individual people cashing their checks are turned away because Regions cannot provide actual cash? No branches here so welcome back the bank I dumped over 25 years ago. Best newsies their tech looks so good I may not have to see an employee. Yep sometimes automation looks good when the wrong people are the choice. I had a funky experience with this bank back in the 90's & dumped them but because they are in other states & cities where family lives I thought I'd give 'em another shot. But the attitudes and now discovered fees and dirty tricks means I'm gonna have to dump 'em again all these years later. Good news is that PNC bank is even closer & both my kids bank with PNC in Pittsburgh so just waiting for them to open back up. Obviously they get the job job done for some people but for me they bite. Bottom line: movin' on ASAP

We wanted to open an account in Gulf Shores to give us a local bank while leaving our bank account in Wisconsin. Frankly, I have never encountered a branch manager with worse people skills. Rude, unhelpful with no customer service training. Our friend had the same experience with the branch last year, which probably should have been an indication to me but I wanted to open the account at a Credit Union. Don't waste your time on this branch, if I could have given less than a one I would have.

Our building got hit by the hurricane. Although our unit didn't sustain any damage, we were unable to rent out our unit because the building was damaged tremendous. McCarron was so prompt in paying a "loss of rental income" that we didn't even know we had. The amount was very fair and they were wonderful to work with during a crises. We've used them for 6 years and have had nothing but excellent service. They are that "southern" sweet with great integrity and kindness.
