A lot has changed since I used to come to this specific location of trulieve here lots and now and every now and then but now had a very uncomfortable experience coming from an employee there is no excuse for faking positive customer service to the customers in a passive aggressive sociopathic manner... I didn't know I there was a note on my account about returns now I don't feel comfortable doing a return ever or coming back to this specific trulieve location on 8602 N Dale Mabry Hwy specifically James the employee. I'm really torn on this review. The dispensary is only 4 blocks from my home and I love the people there. The new jars are impossible to open. I broke both wrists and I have arthritis and no strength. I could open the old jars just fine. I will continue to get my chocolates there but will need to go to a competitor for buds. read more

One of the workers there sold me smth from their retail section, been getting the same deal for weeks. Today I came in and the "manager" was there, she told me I can't get anything from the retail section unless I spent another $15, (which I never had to do before) and continues to talk to me rudely. I asked if the guy who gave me the deal in the past knew he shouldn't be doing that, she said yes. Someone here is in the wrong, an it ain't me. When you walk in the store, nobody greets you, they act like you're an annoyance and you're there on their time. This has happened with multiple different employees probably cause they're unhappy that they are alone with no back up which is not the customer's fault. every time I go in, it doesn't matter if there's one person or four people ahead of me I end up waiting for a half other dispensary I go to and believe me there are many and I pick up order it doesn't take more than 3 to 5 minutes and I'm back out the door. This is never the case with True Leave, it's such a big inconvenience for me to live right next-door walking distance to Tampa trulieve but I can drive 2 miles down the road to any other dispensary pick up when I need and be back home within 20 minutes but if I want to leave right next-door, I would still be there waiting to be helped and then they are notorious for false advertising, which makes it even worse to wait in line to pick up something that they alerted you. They had at 8 AM to rush over there to just pick up a pick up order and end up waiting a half hour to be order is not ready and that the promotion isn't really and is completely misleading. They will tell you one price via text message and then when you show up to the place, they tell you it's twice the price and that it's not actually on sale. after four or five events there with more anxiety than I had before, I got there as I have PTSD I can no longer go back and do business own health an sanity, regular flour will look just like minis with stems wear gloves when you open up the bag when you reach in your will get stabbed with one good thing is you don't have to break it it's already pretty much dried out and broken up for you, I really hope they go out of business and put a green dragon or any other dispensary in this place anything would be better even if they changed the staff and got them more happy it doesn't change the quality of the flower and they're outrageous prices also anytime you get points and you buy some happens to be on sale for the price that it should already be. You're not allowed to stack your rewards or points with any other things and they will try to tell you no dispensary will let you do that but again it's another lie because just naming one muv which is right down the street will allow you to stack your points and rewards which given how much it is for top-tier cannabis it is wonderful to catch a break once in a while, I've had many people even renew their medical license, thanks to trulieve and its insane pricing an bottom of the barrel flower dealers on the street are doing great again! You can believe me or not believe me but buyer beware, making it a day trip bring some snacks and a drink maybe a board game and a no dose, and again wear gloves you don't get shanked when you go to take out your golden nuggets, I have multiple pictures of their Ponzi scheme and how they try to sucker you, but I can't pictures to this thread/review, unfortunately, I wrote this all while I was actually sitting in the waiting room and I had enough. Slowest dispensary out there! Had 3 people in front of me with 3 workers at 8:35pm. Had a pick up order and was told I can't get it. They really need o have someone at express checkout every night. If you have a pick up you show your ID & you go. But denying a patient after getting out of work, ONLY reason I shop here is because y'all close later. Get a better way of doing pick ups. Because right now it sucks!!!!! It's getting to the point where I don't even wanna shop here. It takes 30 min EVERY TIME I go in to get my pick up order. Shorted 2 grams on 2 1/8's of GSC. This has happened 4 times in last year. They charge me $53 each. They were mini buds, $27 each. Wow not only rip me off on quantity but ripped me off on price that should have been charged. I called and left a message and I wrote 2 contact letters directly to trulieve. TruLieve is the farmer's market of medical marijuana. Unlike their competitors, they actually expose the real name of the stains on offer. They also have pretty much every strain that you might be asking for (assuming it's Florida-approved). They deliver as advertised and do it quickly, simply and accessibly. Their equipment, though, SUX! I mean, like, really bad. With teeth, even. There may be a less-useful vape pen, but I haven't found it. Get a 510-compatible pen and ignore the one they try to sell you. Seriously, even if it's free, take a pass. It's dreadful. The cartridges themselves are also... less than stellar. I've had about a 20% failure rate, where the carts simply did not draw with the TruLieve pen. Some (about half) of those did work on a pen from another company (the Ooze brand, if you care, or the Florida's Finest Adjustable from Surterra). So how did I get from bitchy complaints to three stars? The products are *exactly* as advertised, and the medical effects are very close to what Leafly and others will tell you. PEX (Pineapple Express) and SUN (Sunset Sherbet) are phenomenal. I have had less luck with the indicas; their 9-Pound Hammer is (sorry to use a non-quantifiable term), completely lame. Overall, though, the customer service and the hybrid/sativa lineups make this a strong option. Oh, speaking of which: The people who deliver are heroes. They have to drive around in BRANDED cars so that every mugger and robber in the vicinity knows that they have both "product" and lots (I mean LOTS) of cash. But even with that, they are uniformly friendly, helpful and concerned. I hope they get combat bonus pay! read more

Cancel out my last review. Trulieve is back to it's old dysfunctional self. !0 days (on a Mon) ago I placed an order and was told they were running behind and it would be Thur. Girl shows up with half my order, has no paperwork for the other half and didn't bring the tablet so I could use my debit card. Rescheduled me for Sat, and this was a no show no call. Rescheduled me for Mon (we're at a week now) and he shows up with the full order but again no tablet for my debit card. Rescheduled for Wed. Another no show no call. They are promising to be here tomorrow with the goods AND the necessary machine for the debit card. I don't honestly believe they will show up. I know for a fact I'm not the only one dealing with this. I actually had a customer rep thank me for not screaming at them. Maybe if they put some time and money into training their staff (and hiring enough people) that they spend talking over other companies it wouldn't be such a train wreck. read more

Placed an Online Order. Got a text that my order was ready. Went to check in on the app. Wouldn't let me check in. Went up to the front door and was greeted. Asked what I was there for. Was asked if I checked in online. Told them the website would not load. So they asked for my name and number, wait in the car until they are ready for me to come in. Long story short, if its online and ready to pick up, why not have a separate way for online pickups? This place is always busy, which isn't a problem. It's not being organized which causes frustration. This is my 4th visit and my first online order. I get I have to wait if I'm a walk in. My experience with trulieve has been well worth it. The products are the best! It's taken me months to figure out the perfect combo of meds to help me. Trulieve Tampa is the worst dispensary I've been to in central Florida. The latest problem is an hour and a half wait (due to the front desk not collecting my card up front.) I was called in via text and sat in the waiting room for an additional 30 min until they realized they needed my card. I watched about 10 patients cut in front of me until I asked, and was reassured I ewas NEXT. It took another 5 patients for them to ask for my card. On top of all this, their "bud-tenders" are of low quality and don't know trichomes from decarboxylation. If you ever have a serious question about your medicine, these people will not be able to give you any real information. They've never tried the strain in question whenever I ask and whenever they do try to describe the taste or effects they're way off. From here on out, Trulieve is last on my list when I need to pick up. And I will drive an hour away to not deal with the clowns at the Tampa location. End rant. read more

Some people complain about the way they experience at Truelieve. It's an unfortunate thing to have to wait but with this pandemic we can't be too careful. Truelieve is following state mandated orders. And considering what they have to deal with they are doing a fantastic job. Even with the wait I've never been there for more than an hour. People complain, and get bad reviews, it's just an unfortunate necessity that we all must go through. read more

This is the only dispensary I've used and only for a short period of time. I was confused on what I was using and how much I should be taking, I went last week to get more product, but requested a conference meeting, preferably with a female (I'm a 70 yrs old female). Jessica at this store was my assistant and she was terrific! I ended up buying a lot more product, but that not only says she is a good sales person, but definitely a very knowledgeable staff member that was able to answer all my questions. I feel I am finally on the right track towards using MM in place of my many prescriptions. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating at this dispensary, but Jessica was exceptional. read more

This is by far, the slowest dispensary in Florida. The staff can be hit or miss, some are friendly and helpful, others do not seem as friendly. The products are fine but it can take a good 8 hours for them to put your order together. Even when your order is ready, expect to wait another hour to be let inside. read more

While my time might not be worth much to them, it is worth more than a couple of dollars to me. Great place, great customer service, and great bud! The only complaints I have about the place, is that they are normally really busy and take a long to check out each person. Also I have noticed that the ground flower and minis used to have a much higher thc % and mgs. The price that they offer it at is so low that it's not a big deal though. I wish there were a less than one star rating option. My husband and I will never set foot in a Trulieve store ever again. The last time my husband and I went to this location, we were asked if we were together. We said yes so they let us go in and conduct our business together. This time, they said we cannot be together, we have to conduct our transactions separately, and then proceeded to throw us both out when I simply asked my husband how much cash he had on him and if he needed any of mine. There are no laws against a married couple conducting business together in a medical marijuana dispensary if they are both licensed, card-carrying medical marijuana patients (which you have to be just to be able to walk into the place). The staff was rude and condescending from the moment we walked in, even going so far as to make the smart-ass comment, "Why'd you even come in so close to closing time?" (We walked in about 5-10 minutes before close.) My response to that question is, "Why do you have operational hours listed on the door and website if you don't adhere to them?" These a-holes can go fornicate themselves and kiss the $300 we were about to spend goodbye. We will be Müv customers from now on. The big, tall, fat ginger guy who I guess is the manager (or thinks he's a manager) was the biggest douchebag of them all.
