Corporate has got to fix the shopping experience at Trulieve. It's one of the worst. My 3 minute estimated wait for an express no mod pickup turned into 30 minutes with only 2 people ahead of me. Also I'm apparently supposed to check in with the staff even though I checked into the app. Why? They are busy! What's the point of this and why doesn't the app tell me to do that? It was only after I was skipped did I realize this nonsense is part of the process. Other customers also complained about the process. My experience at other dispensaries (excluding muv) has been significantly better. Customers are in and out not sitting around for 30 minutes. The current system at Trulieve needs a revamp. read more

This review is NOT a reflection of the employees, which are AWESOME. Whatever management is doing with this store, it needs to stop. They've cut the staff down to literally bare bones which isn't fair to them or the patients. I had to wait over an hour to pick up an online order. They only had one person working in back ringing up patients. You're going to burn the employees out, and lose a lot of patients if you continue down the path you're on. I placed my order online. Drive 45 min to pick up from this location only to be told they couldn't fulfill my order. Then they couldn't fulfill my 2nd choice. A phone call/text/email, some attempt to communicate with me about my 1st choice not being in stock would've been awesome customer service, but nope. I had to find out AFTER I drove 45 min out of my way AFTER my long work week to hear this in person, face-to-face, not once but I stress TWICE. Only the super expensive options are available. Nice people and good products...IF you can manage to put an online order through. The website is constantly "loading." I have contacted Trulieve on the phone and on Twitter to tell them about the problem but nothing seems to be done about it. The other problem is that almost every time I want to order something they are out of stock. If you do manage to order ahead, you still have to wait at the dispensary to be called and then go in and see an associate, as if you never put through an order. They need to get their act together here. It's too bad because Trulieve is close by. Many times I just order from Surterra. It's not close to me but I have no such problems there. read more

When you are doing online orders and you get a black folder you are to be taken quicker for you ordered on line. Butt your file gets mixed in with the regular clients walk in clients, online people are supposed to be done quicker to get in and out of the location. It doesn't happen it's always always slow at Venice today was the first time though was that being an online order I was taken ahead of a white folder. Employees are cold doesn't seem to be a happy place like the Beneva Road location. the staff at Beneva Road always over the top helpful, even though Venice TRULIEVE is closer to Port Charlotte it is worth the drive to experience it. Again closer it's not worth it, very cold sterile unsupportive not a happy place I'm sure there's other dispensaries are better to leave locations I would avoid this location. And the person that waited on me was being trained needs new management. I will say the lady's that site up front to check in at Venice are over the top wonderful. read more

The dispensary is new. Its staff does not seem to know the product line yet and gave me wrong information. I am giving them three stars because I think Trulieve has an excellent, if limited, line of products, but I suggest going to their other dispensaries. read more

Product is good, however I refuse to shop there anymore due to the ridiculous wait time. The last 3 times I've gone I have placed online orders which I get confirmation that my order is ready, yet I arrive and they still tell me it will be a minimum 45 minute wait. I have waited over an hour before for an online order. I finally asked why when my order is ready I have to always wait, the lady stated its because we have to "fill out your paperwork by hand when you come in" which I find insane this process, since again my order is "ready". I have been to other dispensaries and have never waited this long, ever! I think it's time for a new process. read more

Don't bother. They never have any product. I tried to place an order and was on hold about 10 minutes on the phone and then an additional 40 minutes online trying to find out the status of my order just to find out nothing was available, after getting the text my order was ready. Out of the last 5 orders I tried to place only 1 order was fulfilled. Crazy read more

This company has by far the worst eCommerce website on the planet. I am officially 1 for 12 in successfully ordering product online. 9 of those attempts resulted in my specific location showing zero products available online. Zero? When I went to the dispensary that very same day, they had the product and said it doesn't register online when there are less than 30 in the store. huh? One time my entire order was taken and somehow lost in transit. The store didn't have it despite me having an order number.
