The staff is super friendly and it's good to see the same faces on the teller line in an industry with a high turnover. I used the ATM and I feel that it is a little inconvenient to use it from the car compared to other ATMs due to the posts protecting the ATM. Looking at Linda's…read moreLinkedin credentials, I cannot believe how she treated a customer whose family has banked with them for years and keeps large sums of money with their bank. I will be contacting corporate today but she was just awful and rather than focusing on a solution to the problem, they only looked for faults to say no no no. I personally do not bank with KB(thank god), I have always banked with credit unions, but a family member does hold accounts and investments with very high balances and you would think they would treat someone cashing a check on their behalf with some respect. They refused to cash my $20k check, they refused to give me a bank check unless I opened an account with them(very pushy) and also called every other Key Bank in the area and not one could cover a $20k check-I think that says something about where this bank. They also charge a $7.50 fee to cash a check if you're not a customer (IF they do have enough cash on hand to cash a check, they charge a $7.50 fee unless you are a customer-this is a complete racket). I recommend if you bank with them now to look into local credit unions such as Adirondack Trust, SEFCU or any local credit union. They all offer better rates, better accounts, excellent customer service and more local branches. They also don't nickel and dime your friends or employees who may need to cash a check with a $7.50 fee to cash a check, I can only image what other small fees are in Key Banks small print. Stay away from Key Bank and especially Linda Bjork, the brand manager at Key Bank in Malta.

Since the card reader didn't work, she looked our account number up for us and assisted us in getting the machine to recognize us. Employees do their part and I have had a friendly experience. Turnover remains a concern. This branch is in a great location in the heart of Clifton park.
