We had a great experience at Tsaocaa & Tea Ramen. I ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen and my wife got the yuzu shoyu ramen. I really loved mine, the pork was flavorful and cooked perfectly, the broth was rich and delicious, and the spice level was spot on without being overwhelming. My wife really enjoyed her ramen as well and was happy with her choice. We also ordered an appetizer of gyoza. They were good and enjoyable, though nothing especially standout compared to the ramen. The restaurant is close by for us, which is a big plus. The staff is very friendly, the place was clean, and service was fast, we had our food in about 10 minutes. Overall, a solid spot that we'll definitely be coming back to. read more

Stopped by here on my way back from Orlando; it was one of the only ramen spots open for lunch on a Monday. If you know me, if I'm craving something I gotta have it, so Michi Ramen really saved me lol. The interior was lovely with a modern style. The kitchen can be seen from I ordered their Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen, Sakura Oolong Tea with Milk Foam, and Takoyaki. My friends ordered the Korean Hot Dog with potato half-dog, half-cheese and the hibachi. The cheese pull on the Korean hot dog was insanneee, my friend had couldn't keep pulling w arm because it kept going lol. The service was excellent, our server was attentive, funny, cleared all our empty plates, and was very on top of it. Our food came out fast! The ramen was delicious and the spice was the perfect kind that gave it great flavor but didn't have the nose running. The toppings on the Takoyaki were generous with a great texture. My oolong tea was a bit on the watery side but it's brewed fresh so I didn't mind. My friends loved their hibachi, I had a bite of the veggies and they were cooked to perfection. They said the miso soup and yum yum was on the sweet side which they weren't the biggest fan of but was obsessed with everything else. First off the service was excellent! However I would say the food wasn't my favorite. We ordered the 10pcs boneless chicken ( thought these would be smaller but they were MASSIVE!) The boneless chicken lacked flavor, although nice and crispy not much flavor. We did get honey garlic on the side but that tasted more like soy sauce & garlic. The veggie dumplings were decent, they had these big chuck of Lima beans that messed with the flavor and texture of things. The mozzarella dog was good, I did enjoy this! And I forgot to take a photo but also got the chicken habachi which was not my favorite at all. It was very flavorless and plain. I would probably return here for the mozzarella dog and the tea's/drink were good. Food wise I'll pass on everything else.... Again service was top notch though. read more

UPDATE- I wish I could give 3.5 stars... Food is okay, mainly too salty. Unfortunately they are pretty overpriced and not a value in anyway. 2 people can easily spend over $100 for 2 non alcoholic beverages, 2 ramen, and an appetizer. This is a take out place with small cafe seating area with little to no wait service. Honestly we feel awkward when we sit for service. This place is a hidden gem in the corner of the row of establishments near it. It's a cozy boba/raman spot, with tables and booths. The waitress, Nikki, was sweet, attentive, and knew her stuff! She made the experience extra nice! I ordered the miso ramen with black garlic + shrimp. This place just opened and I couldn't wait to try it! In Lakeland there really isn't a good boba spot! I moved here from California where there were endless boba spots and they were all great. I'm so happy to finally have a spot here in Lakeland. I got Rose Milk Tea with Boba and my husband got Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba. Both were really good. It's on the sweeter side but I love it like that. The boba is very soft and tasty. A lot of place we had out here had hard boba. This was very bouncy!
