This is a path along the Isar that covers a long distance between Austria and Germany. We cycled…read morethis path to Freising today which is a 38km cycle from the centre of Munich. It can get busy in parts but for the most part you are cycling a shaded path along the river. The path is largely gravel and flat. We are planning to do the Innsbruck to Munich route in June. If you have time and want to experience beautiful countryside around Munich and visit some fabulous beer gardens this is not a bad way to do it :-)
