Tried TU CHA this weekend after a day out in LA on a nice Friday. I have wanted to try the Erfurt desserts that went viral in Paris by Cedric golet. Los Angeles fruit desserts have many competitors but I was most excited to try TU CHA the most and they did not disappoint. The friends I took with me to try TU CHA were shocked at the high price as so was I but I believe the quality and beauty matched and my friends also respected the flavors and love put into the desserts. I will come back to try the rest of them. I also love that TU CHA is women owned and I love supporting women.
Trenched through traffic with my fam to try this place out! It is nestled between large buildings on a busy street with enough parking (you may have to cross a street after finding a spot). What I loved: Dubai dream cake! Hands down worth the drive, it's the best dessert option they have. Creamy balanced flavors, well layered, and with a texture that is irresistibly fun to eat. I love the heart container. We bought almost all of every piece dessert except for two along with the ice cream bites. Needless to say, we were not impressed. Each pastry had the same lingering aftertaste which was odd, the fresh strawberry topping was old, the gelatin like texture did not complement the watery centers, and the outside chocolate shell had no flavor. Of course, if you like these details of texture, you may dig it! Just definitely not for me. The ice cream bites resemble a frozen yogurt like texture and although I appreciate the all natural fruit product, the flavors didn't quite come through. The space inside is small, clean, and cozy. We weren't really warmly welcomed but did receive a kind goodbye after we picked up our order and had tipped generously. The Togo boxes could use improvement as they were so flimsy and hard to store in the fridge. The carry out bag is SO nice though. We're happy to have supported the business but will not drive out there again. Try your luck, it is fun to explore!
I was excited to try the desserts here and didn't expect it to by super pricey. I got 3 cakes to try: mango, lemon, and strawberry, and the fruit ice cream. The presentation of the cakes do look nice however there was nothing special about the taste. It somewhat just tasted like mousse cake and it was underwhelming. The ice cream tasted a bit like plastic or wax. I would not get desserts from here due to the price and taste of the desserts. I would rather go elsewhere for cake/ice cream.
If you're in Los Angeles, make a stop at Tucha. We tried their viral peach and mango cake, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. These trompe-l'œil pastries--French desserts designed to "deceive the eye" by looking like real fruit--are as impressive as they are delicious. Light, fresh, and perfectly balanced, with just the right touch of sweetness. We also had their matcha drink, which was just as good. A bit pricey, but worth the indulgence.
We've been wanting to try this place because of how beautiful the cakes look. We stopped by here to try it. We got the mango and the raspberry one. Both were underwhelming. Taste was too creamy with no prominent flavor. The texture melted almost as soon as you get into it. Although very pretty, didn't love it and would not come back.
I give Tu Cha a 2.4/5. I saw this place randomly on google maps as a nearby cafe and was excited to try the cakes as they looked super cute. Unfortunately, I was a disappointed by the taste of the desserts. Parking was a little difficult as the location is under a residential complex. They have a nearby lot for free parking but the sign was so small, it was hard to notice until we were even at the store and saw the placard. We ended up parallel parking on the perpendicular street and walking to it. The store was quite busy for an afternoon and they had a good amount of seating spaces. We sat at one of them and requested the staff to clean the sticky table which happened quickly, which was nice. The interior was quite nice and modern. The digitial pos system made ordering easy. We ordered a variety of desserts and two drinks that amounted to around $60-70. It was pretty pricey and we understood the effort put into each dessert, but I wish the taste of the items also reflected the price point. The Bing chilling ice cream bites were pretty disappointing for $23. I had a slight expectation of them tasting natural and subtle but some of the ice creams were artifical tasting. The banana and peach especially tasted artifical and I did not like them. My tablemates thought the peach was okay. The strawberry one was my favorite but the others were alright or too artifical tasting. The smaller ones had too much chocolate to ice cream ratio (2:1). The devil fruit and the my man go cakes were alright. We knew there was a chocolate shell but everything overall was just way too much chocolate. Despite the gateau name, I wish there was actually cake in the dessert and not just all mousse and gelatin. There was just too much mousse and tart filling inside so the dessert tasted a little too gelatinous with the chocolate shell. Having some cake inside would've balanced things nicely so we thought the desserts were just alright. For ~$14 each dessert, I was left craving something better. The drinks were also alright. My friend thought the tiramisu latte was okay but my sister did not like the osmanthus oolong milk tea and thought it tasted watery. She expected it to taste more milky or tea-like for $7 a drink. Overall, Tu Cha was a little disappointing and we expected a little more because of the price. The desserts were really cute and Instagram worthy but tasted just okay. I know a lot of effort was put into these desserts and wish they tasted nicer but it just wasn't to our tastes.
I, like so many others, fell victim to the many many many videos all over social media--person after person sitting in their car with a box full of deliciousness, crunching their way through these beautifully artisanal treats. So when I found myself in LA with my daughter, it was a no-brainer. We were coming here. And it absolutely lived up to the hype. We must've timed it perfectly--it was nearly empty when we arrived, and by the time we left, there was a line out the door. We ordered...honestly, I think one of everything. No regrets. Our absolute favorite was the mango, but truly, there wasn't a single miss in the bunch. Parking was easy, the space (including the bathroom) was spotless, and I loved how simple it was to order using the iPad setup. 100% worth the time, the money, and yes--the social media spiral that brought us here.
This is a popular fruit shaped chocolate coated ice cream . It went viral all over internet! The product is sold out everywhere . It was sold out and my friends could not even got their hands on it ! Today we are lucky to be able to get one and we tried it as soon as we got home . The chocolate comes in 5 shapes and flavors : banana , strawberry, peach , grapes , mango . One container has two sets of fruits flavored ice. We took a bite out of each . My favorites ones are banana and peach . . The chocolate layer is too thick and the sweetness over powder the fruits taste of the ice cream . Today is on sale $16.99 , 50 cents less than Normal price .
Had to come to the OG of these unique desserts, and, honestly, disappointed as desserts are overpriced and small, with the cheapest being $13, I purchased 3 and paid $49!?!?! I found similar desserts at Altadena Bakery, which are bigger at a cost of $10 each. In comparing these desserts, the Tu Cha desserts, have a liquid center and is messy with a custard texture, whereas, the desserts at Altadena do not have a liquid center but fruit center with a moose texture, which I like so much more! But, you try and decide which one you like more!!!
I am surprised at how this place has only a 3.5 star rating on yelp. I am not usually a desserts person but I was targeted by Instagram and by how crunchy the cakes were The crunch was real. Went out and bought the 1. Mama Mango- brought it to a party I had last night. It was good. Got many compliments. Difficult to cut through for sharing but 4/5 rating 2. Berry my absolute favorite. Crunch was on point. Not too sweet. Nailed the blueberry flavor 3. Apple -3/5 4. Berry cubed - boyfriend said "definitely tastes like berries" 5. Lychee - loved the strong oolong flavor that helped combat the sweet of the dessert. 6. Bing Chillin - so good. Banana was surprisingly my favorite. I don't usually like banana anything but this one was different l. Must be the whipping cream or something. All in all I understand it's pricy but you get what you pay for. It was delicious and not too sweet. Hard to nail the flavors while making sure the sweetness is not overwhelming so I think Tucha did a great job.
I got the following: double strawberry matcha, mango pastry, bing ice cream bites. The ice cream was fruit shaped and fruit flavored and the pastry too. They also had free parking down the street and it's labeled Tu Cha free parking which is so nice of them. Service was great. To sit down, can't come in large groups- would be nice to have some outdoor seating in the future if possible!
Came yesterday (Sunday) at 8:30pm & no line I enjoyed the matcha dubai heart cake ($22) & the citron dessert ($14), total $43 including tip Haven't tried the citron yet but really enjoyed the matcha Dubai!! All items are quite pricy but I enjoyed it. My 3 star rating is for the overall experience due to the parking. They provided an address for a parking down the street since there was no street parking. WARNING: do not parking in the parking lot with a black gate. The correct parking should have dirt & it next to the black gate. The car was stuck inside the gated parking lot since a key is needed to go inside & outside. It's also hard to see since we went at night. I told my friend today about my experience & the same thing happened to her.
The hype for this fruit is just that. They look so delicious and yes if you really like semi sweet moose with sweet chocolate this is A+. For me I wouldn't get these again as it just is too sweet and after a while your over it. Customer service is amazing, their presentation is amazing and if you've never tried it before definitely worth a splurge. Just make sure you have enough people to share it with because it will get over whelming even with three of us.
Fruit item desserts were so creative in presentation and the taste really gives out the true flavor. I was really excited to try this place out given the new rave, was coming in with the headset of buying all the fruit desserts but they sell out QUICK! Only the lemon was left, small and around ~$15. The lemon did look like the real fruit, when opened up it was incredibly juicy and so sour just like a real lemon. Sadly I think I must come back to try the strawberry and mango Limited seating inside, parking is street parking which might be tough for the area but was manageable. I've had the chance to try almost all of the flavors at this dessert shop, and each one has something unique to offer. The matcha flavor stood out to me right away--it's super creamy, rich, and just the right amount of sweet without being overwhelming. Some of the other flavors leaned on the sweeter side as well, but honestly, that makes them perfect for when you're craving something indulgent or need a little sugar boost.One of my favorites was the lemon-shaped dessert--it was not only beautifully presented but also refreshingly tangy and bright in flavor. It had that perfect balance of sweetness and citrusy sharpness that makes you want to go back for another bite. And then there was the tonic espresso--I wasn't sure what to expect, but it turned out to be such a unique and delicious surprise. It had a bold, slightly bitter kick from the espresso that paired so well with the refreshing fizz of the tonic. Overall, this place has such a fun variety of flavors, from comforting classics to more creative and adventurous options. Came here at 1pm on a Friday with a friend after seeing it on socials. They said they were sold out of the following: - mango dessert - citron dessert - cheese foam But a few minutes later they brought my drink out with cheese foam and then started restocking the mango dessert!!! They also had a sign saying they were out of boba and then someone came out to remove the "no boba" sign. Very confusing. An employee told me the desserts take 1-2 days to make so they aren't always able to restock but then what about the cheese foam and boba?? I was so sad because we would've totally waited 5 minutes to get all of that and we were stuck with the chocolate and raspberry instead. I did go back and share my disappointment and they were able to rectify the issue so I think it is just some growing pains since it's so new. Overall I think the fruit shaped desserts are very good and there is a little biscuit with a white chocolate drop holding it all together at the very bottom. I would come back to try the citron but I would skip the other 2 cakes. I got street parking but apparently there is a garage. There's also WiFi and some nice booths. read more
these might be the most hyped up desserts i've seen, and they taste exactly like you'd expect. a crunch thin outer shell of chocolate with a light and fluffy fruity inside. i'm personally not a fan of the chocolate exterior, but i thought some of the fillings were good. the Citron was probably the best with the passion fruit inside that just oozed out and was so nicely sour in contrast to the light cream exterior. each dessert is so pretty, and you know that a lot of effort went into making each one. but at its high price point (~$15 after tax), i don't think it was anything extraordinary but still worth a try just for the hype. read more
I was sooo excited to try their viral cakes .. I have a HUGE sweet tooth, love all things fruity/jelly/tangy, and I'm usually never picky with sweets!!! I also always try to refrain from writing poor reviews because I know taste is subjective, but we got the My Man Go & Devil Fruit cakes and honestly .. they were so objectively bad my friend and I threw them away after one bite. The cakes were drippy and unstable, the flavors were unbalanced, and the lack of technical precision really showed -- everything felt messy rather than intentional. My Man Go (1/5) -- Super sour mango pudding (consistency of runny yolk) with a huge portion of chocolate-hazelnut filling. Normally I love contrasting flavors, but this just tasted like a sloppy mush of sour mango + melted candy bar. No balance, no crunch, and no structure. Artelice's version is a million times better in flavor, texture, and looks -- Tu Cha's just felt like they injected the shell with fruit & chocolate juice. Devil Fruit (1/5) -- This one held its shape better but was just acid on acid. Extremely sour blackberry mousse + sour jam = overwhelming, flat, and exhausting after one bite. Without a crunchy base/layer or something sweet/creamy to offset, it had zero dimension. I adore adventurous pastries, but these felt more like concept cakes for social media than finished recipes. Love the idea and the aesthetics, but the taste just wasn't there. I applaud them for their creativity as I know this store was the first to conceptualize these cakes (at least if we are excluding the ice creams at H Mart that these likely drew inspiration from), but so sad that these were inedible. I really don't think this is a matter of people simply having different preferences; it really came down to the poor quality of the cakes themselves. If you want pastries that deliver on both looks and flavor, I'd recommend going to a shop that truly specializes in desserts. read more

Honestly was so excited to try these. And just as nice as they look, they taste even better. Also got the brown sugar milk tea. Milk tea taste great as well, but these cakes are out of this world. I placed my order ahead just to grab and go. but looking for parking was the real challenge. literally drove around for 15 mins. so plan ahead or have a partner run in and grab the order as you circle the block. service was quick, I showed my receipt and they grabbed my drink & cakes. Devil Fruit this was my main reason for the trip. I went to the One Piece Cafe and had to finish off by eating the devil fruit. honestly exceeded my expectations. The mousse was light and tarty, but still had a vibrant taste. never had/heard of feuilletine before, but was wonderfully paired. My Man Go I love mango flavor, so had to try this. Taste like a mango cream puff, but instead of pastry, it was covered in a thin chocolate shell. loved the fresh mango. was like taking a spoon full of golden mango. I did not finish both since I wanted to share w/ my fiance, so I put them in the freezer for it to keep its shape. freezing it was the best thing. the mousse turned into somewhat of a sorbet texture(let it sit in the fridge for an hour to get a good texture). very enjoyable both ways. what I love about this place is that their mousse does not make me feel heavy after eating. cant wait to try the rest of their creations in the future. read more

Finally after a bit of delay, Tucha officially opened its door for the first time today! I've been super excited about it, being long follower of Catherine and even have used a lot of her recipes for baking. So doubtlessly, have been so eager to try her creations!! And she's there today so super excited to even see her in person. As expected, long line had been there before the opening time. It took awhile for sure as they used self-order machines and people took awhile to make their decisions I guessed given it's their first visits. As the name said, they offered various kinds of tea on the menu, but also the selections of desserts crafted by chef Catherine. Price was kinda steep especially for the cakes, but I wasn't surprised given her popularity and hey it's LA LOL. They had some seats on the spot and I could see this spot stay crowded as it's pretty convenient one. I went for their Signature HK Milk tea and liked how the tea flavor stood boldly with hint of bitterness. Would recommend going for half sweet for sure. Despite being pretty nice, wouldn't call it my favorite one in town though. Being kinda indecisive with the cakes as they all looked so good, I ended up trying the citron, which was delightful blend of refreshingly tangy passion fruit, lemon, and yuzu with sweet cheesecake. Presentation was so good with that real-ish look of a lemon. It's also nice combo of texture with the thin crispy base at the bottle and the moist creamy cake. Other than the price, it surely deserved all the stars! One tip, let it sit for awhile for best texture since it's bit hard out of the fridge. read more

Summary: Overrated & overpriced, only worth Matcha cake or if you love gelatinous deserts. Service was kinda whatever, we ordered off a kiosk and paid and everyone looked busy but I mean they're prolly wonderful people. Place looks pretty nice and very minimalist kind of gen z clean white black look. Sadly, the food did not match the price in taste but only looks. Deserts were a tad too sweet, but the texture was honestly terrible. Only redeeming thing was the matcha cake, came in a tin and had a good matcha flavor, not sweetened up like a bunch of cafes. Good texture good taste still expensive though, maybe birthday cake or something but itll be hard for candles & all. I'd breakdown everything but honestly this applies to everything except the matcha. Hopefully they change the recipe a bit and stop taxing over the "luxury desert" but if they don't then hopefully they make the desert and descriptions more clear to what they're supposed to be. Left this place bummed and felt like we were ripped off. Matcha was a 7.5/10 tho and is the only reason this isnt 1 star, try it if you don't mind starving for 2 meals to have a desert or if you don't care about how much things costs. read more

This place is THE biggest tourist trap. Do yourself a favor and try out literally ANY other dessert shop that does this (Artelice Patisserie is my recommendation). I came in knowing the prices but what I didn't expect was the sh*thole area it's in. The parking wasn't clear until you actually came up to the outside of the store up close, and the location is located right before a turn so if you're coming from the opposite side, a left turn into the lot is impossible. The surrounding area is so dirty, it ruins the vibes since you need to walk through all the trash, trashed places, and sketchy people. The store itself is mostly clean, but I'm really surprised at the audacity that Catherine has to price everything as it is for the quality. I understand that this is art, but that's it. The flavor is trash. The presentation is great but it does not justify the price for a food item. We got the Mango, lemon, berry, Dubai matcha cake thing, and a drink and that ran me $77. Only the berry and matcha cake tasted ok, but mango and lemon was a waste of money. Overall it didn't balance out the final price. To conclude, even if you're going for the experience, prepare to be disappointed. It's not worth it at all. 1.5/5, the service was nice and quick, half of what I ordered tasted fine. Would never come again nor recommend it to anyone. read more

I tried tucha because of all the hype online, don't waste your time and money. Although it looks pretty, the dessert was very messy and didn't taste extraordinary. It was very expensive for just one dessert, and for the mini bing chillin "Retail" Bing Chillin' Bites it was 22 dollars. Overall, don't waste your time at this place, but they did have a very nice restroom so that was a plus. The tea was very sweet though, and I did not like it. read more

This place is really cute. Their staff is super friendly and attentive. The desserts are beautiful. They really outdid themselves. My favorite was the devil fruit. Make sure you be careful biting into them. Some of them ooze a bit. read more

What a cute dessert. It's a small place and only few tables. You order your dessert at the counter , service is pretty fast. However the prices were ridiculous. Dessert for $13-25 each. Fancy decorated dessert taste it's okey. I read more
My bf and I visited tucha to get the "most beautiful desserts in LA." We got their lemon and berry desserts and thought they were good. The lemon was better than the berry in our opinion. The lemon had a white chocolate shell, a yuzu mousse, and a delicious passion fruit sauce that flowed out of the middle. The strawberry had a white chocolate exterior, a berry mousse, & a dense pistachio filling. The desserts were made beautifully and you can tell there was a lot of hard work put into making them. We were a little disappointed that our strawberry dessert had a wrinkly old looking strawberry (given its price) but it tasted okay nonetheless. Besides the dessert, the service was fast and the interior was nice. They let us bring our doberman in while we enjoyed the dessert so that was a plus. Overall, I can confirm that Tucha serves "the most beautiful desserts in LA." read more
Parking went well for us because there seems to be less people around these days. Arrived a few minutes after noon and the joint was packed with a mixed demographic of ethnicities taking pictures of their goods. We got the raspberry cube and the peach, as well as a Yuzu drink concoction. The drink was alright because we were there already. Not driving to Wilshire Center for that drink, but the pastry- yeah we will come again to try something more. Seems expensive but not really. It's a treat! About going rate for dessert at a restaurant. We took ours to go and each pastry came in a pretty box which made it special. The inside is more boba shop vibe than specialty pastry therefore ambiance is meh. It was easy enough for me to try the dessert without hitting the biscuit. desserts were amazing looking and tasted great but the employees there don't seem to know important info about them. came in and got one of every fruit they had in stock for a family dinner, asked about which ones have nuts since we have nut allergies. they had 3 employees get together and they all seemed to guess which ones didn't have any. they told me the apple one didn't and the description of it doesn't say anything about nuts but there are walnuts in the filling. one relative with a nut allergy ended up eating it (since i was told it was safe) and she had a very bad reaction. overall nice spot, just be aware they're not very allergen aware/safe. read more

What a cool place! I was a little doubtful after reading some reviews and worried I wouldn't like it. My expectations were low but thankfully I was blown away! Controversially, I agree with their set up. I loved the digital ordering system. I was able to look at the desserts, the ingredients, and deduce from past reviews what looked good to me. In any case, the staff looked very busy and I would've felt embarrassed to bother them with silly questions. So I liked the minimalist and self-help vibes a lot actually!! The packaging for our order was excellent as well. I loved the free tote bag! Here's our review of what we ordered: My Man Go - 9/10 - You can't go wrong with mango. I loved the hazelnut because even if I heard others review it and I knew it was there, it was still a wonderful surprise and a nice break from the overpowering mango sweetness. The sable on the bottom was so deliciously buttery and soft, perfectly spiced. I would've loved extra sable, maybe in the shape of the dessert instead of just a small circle? We also were not a big fan of the gelatinous texture of the coulis, but we don't like flan-like desserts so maybe that's it. I was expecting something fluffier and whipped, but it was still nice. Overall, great dessert! Berry3 - 8/10! What a fun and delicious treat! I loved the shape. The pistachio ball in the middle was excellent, and a well-pieced break from the berry flavor. I wasn't expecting it to pair so nicely but you can definitely taste the love and care put into this dessert. Again, biggest problem we had was the coulis texture, but the pistachio break saved this one for us. This one made me want to go back for their other pistachio based treats (and also made me thankful I'm not allergic to nuts)!! Lychee Tonic with Crystal Boba - 8.5/10! My fiance liked the slight sweetness and texture. It's a good light drink to pair with the dessert. Fruit tea - 9/10! I loved this tea! I usually hate fruit inclusions because I hate feeling like I'm drinking sludge or like a spider accidentally got in my drink, but I didn't get that feeling at all. Each piece of fruit is a delicious snack infused by the beautifully herbal jasmine tea. It's a wonderful pairing for the mango dessert, and I'd imagine it would be really tasty with the citron one as well! Overall, I really enjoyed this place! I would absolutely return given the time and opportunity. There were many reviews mentioning price, quality, etc. that I just don't agree with. This is a novelty dessert experience in a pricey city, and the owner played her cards right by managing her marketing excellently. I say kudos to the marketing team and manager, and the prices are totally reasonable given these factors. Make sure you enjoy these desserts fresh and cold in store if you're planning to visit. And, it's a once in a lifetime thing if you're from out of town. If I was a local, I'd try one dessert maybe every three months and have my favorite to celebrate an occasion. Tu Cha desserts are truly beautiful, and I appreciate the convenience of having two screens to order from, along with a staff member always ready to assist. The seating options are plentiful, and the wide selection of drinks and desserts definitely makes me want to keep coming back. I'm looking forward to trying something new on my next visit. read more
This is a very popular place. Get there early. These are delicious and unique. Their free parking section is a dirt lot, kinda sketch area. As you get closer to Tu Cha, the neighborhood got nicer as you got closer to the business. Staff were friendly. Even though it's busy, you don't wait long. read more

This place is all hype & lacks on flavor. It funny to see the two owners on social media on a mission to talk down on their "competitors" yet they should focus more of improving their own. No doubt this place will be closed within the next year if they don't get off the coat tails of their TikTok craze. Don't waste your time or money. read more

We've been following Catherine on TikTok in her baking journey so wanted to come try this place especially with all the viral videos of people on social media eating these desserts! They are luxury/boutique desserts so expect to pay a higher price for them, we ordered the small mango, raspberry, and lemon cakes, and Dubai matcha chocolate cake, and the bingchillin ice cream which totaled to 100$ (I expected this though seeing the reviews and having tried other artisan desserts). Our favorite was the matcha Dubai cake. The outer shell is hard and crunchy giving a nice texture with the soft gooey matcha cake underneath. The pistachio knafeh also added a nice crunch. I loved how strong the matcha flavor was. We also enjoyed the lemon desert which had a very liquidy lemon filling which was delicious. The mango dessert was good however the mango filling was icey at some parts. The outer mousse for all three small desserts were not as smooth as expected but I think that's how it can get when making huge batches at a time and leaving them out. we came on Monday afternoon and there was no wait and plenty of seating, ordering is very easy on a kiosk and the dessert came out almost instantaneously. Once we left though it started getting a little more crowded with almost all the tables filled and a small line. There's some street parking in front if you're lucky, otherwise there's a sign for a parking lot for Tu Cha that's about a 3-5 minute walk away. read more

Of course I had to come here after seeing it so many times on TikTok. First off, I wasn't expecting the dessert to be so small- they appear much bigger on camera. I don't think it was worth $14.50 for the size that you're getting. The flavor (berry cube) also didn't really stand out to me. The raspberry mousse was probably my favorite part of it. I have been DYING to try this place because of the flood of reviews on social media and just how good they look. I got here at a somewhat busy time (15 min wait) but the self order kiosk and staff allowed the line to move quickly. Note, seating is limited so many left to enjoy their treats outside. My Man-go - initial observation is that these desserts are much smaller than the what they seemed in reviews which is a little shocking as these desserts are $14. Regardless, this was a really good dessert. It had a soft crunch from the shell and some really good mango filling with a mousse. It was refreshing and not heavy. Raspberry Cube - (~14$) the crunch in this shell was something else. Texture wise, this was really nice. This had a raspberry jam with a pistachio filling inside. The pistachio filling was a nice touch but it was overshadowed by the jam. This was a good dessert, just not a great one. Brown Sugar Coffee- I had no expectations from this but was very impressed by it! It had a nice balance of sweetness and coffee flavor , it wasn't too strong or bitter. It was really enjoyable to drink and it's something I would repurchase. All items I tried were enjoyable , some more than others. Ordered my desserts online and that was super easy and ensured I got what I wanted. I tried the mango, ice cream bites and Berry 3. I tried the ice cream bites first, it was nice but looked like some had melted then hardened again. Taste was ok, the strawberry was the best flavor. Tried the mango next, when I opened the box, the mango was broken and the inside oozed all out, kind of disappointing, the taste was good, tasted like a really good ripe mango. Berry3 was last, the mousse flavor was light but the pistachio was really good. For the price I paid, I expected more. It seems the desserts weren't kept cold as they fell apart. Friend and I went here for the pastries... Mid asl. Mango lacked mango flavor and the texture was like jell-o. Devil's fruit tasted like a plain Greek (sour) yogurt. Raspberry was fine and was a lot smaller than it looks in the videos. I've been a longtime follower of Catherine ever since I saw her on Zumbo's Just Desserts. I've even tried a few of her recipes in the past, so I was genuinely excited to try Tu Cha. Tu Cha's way too far from me, but I've had their desserts delivered to a friend's house twice just so they could bring them to me as I've spent many midnights drooling over TikTok videos. These desserts are fun to eat, and something about the combo of a crunchy chocolate shell and fresh fruit filling really hits the spot for me. Here's what I've tried: Peach - Definitely my least favorite. It looked promising, but the flavor was bland and underwhelming without much peach flavor. 2/5 Lemon - Bright and refreshing, but pretty sour. The shell was too thin, and I think a thicker shell would have helped balance the texture of the soft, jelly-like inside. 3/5 Berry Cube - I didn't care much for the raspberry mousse (not a raspberry fan), but the pistachio center was very good. I just wish there was more of it and that it was better distributed. A firmer structure (maybe a layer of sponge) and a thicker shell could've made this one much more satisfying. 3/5 Mango - Loved this one. The tropical chocolate shell gave the perfect crunch, and the fresh mango inside was juicy and sweet. The chocolate middle didn't add much (maybe can add coconut or almond biscuit crumble; hint hint, Catherine), but overall it worked. Craving it again as I write this review. 4/5 Matcha Dubai Cake - One of my favorites. Loved the matcha layers and the buttery crunch from the knafeh. The top matcha chocolate layer was too thick though, I had to smash it hard to get through, which messed up the lower layers. 4.5/5 Some reviewers have called these desserts "nasty," but honestly, I think they just don't understand/appreciate this style of dessert. It's definitely not your typical cake or cookie; it's more delicate and layered. Still waiting to try the Devil's Fruit as it's been sold out every time I've checked. I ordered from here today and got all the flavors and it's very unfortunate that the lemon citrus had no filling when I bit into it.. and it was too soft. I live far from the location so it's hard to just come and get a new one. I'm hoping I can get accommodated as I also sent an email to them. Don't let the long line deter you! Service was really fast. You order on a kiosk and then you'll be called to pick up your order. I ordered 4 petit gateaus and a fruit tea, and I waited less than 10 minutes. The woman behind the counter was also incredibly kind! The petit gateaus were very pretty and tasted good. My personal favorites were the My Man Go and Just Peachy. They all had distinct flavors and weren't overly sweet. I don't think I'll be buying these on the daily but I definitely would for special occasions or when the craving arises. I'll come back next time to try more of their drinks! (+) unique, flavorful desserts (+) fast & friendly service (-) if the place is full, you'll likely have to order take out because there isn't a lot of table space (which is what I did) luckily, the desserts survived the 15-min drive home! read more

This spot seriously impressed me with its creative flavors and textures -- everything we tried was thoughtfully layered and absolutely delicious. [Citron] A zesty dream! The lemon-flavored white chocolate shell gives way to an ultra-smooth yuzu cheesecake with a texture like ice cream. Inside is a burst of tangy lemon-passionfruit cream that's super fluffy and not overly sweet. Tart, creamy, and refreshing -- just the right balance! [Berry 3] Strawberry white chocolate shell on the outside, and inside? A flavor explosion. It starts with a strawberry jam mousse, followed by layers of cranberry and raspberry mousse, and at the very center -- surprise pistachio bits! Each layer adds depth, and somehow it all works together in perfect harmony. Not too sweet either! Drinks Signature HK Milk Tea So smooth and rich! This definitely brought me back to a Hong Kong-style café -- full-bodied black tea with creamy milk, and just the right texture. If you love strong tea flavor, this is for you. Osmanthus Oolong Cold-brewed and incredibly fragrant. The osmanthus floral notes were surprisingly strong (in a good way!) and paired perfectly with the smooth oolong. Super refreshing, especially after dessert. Honestly? My friend liked it even more than the milk tea! Heads up: Parking is rough. Considering it's been a few months since the peak virality of the fruit-shaped pastries, do they still sell out fast? I'm only able to come at the end of the day at 7pm so I want to know what my selection will be, if there will even be anything left
I went during the week after dinner (around 8pm) and they had nearly all the flavors still in stock, I think only ran out of 1?
Do the desserts contain animal gelatin?
How long can the fruit desserts last if I'm taking a 3 hour flight back home? Is it not recommended? My daughter has been wanting to try.
It won't last since the inside contains ice cream and will melt by 3 hours time.
Where is the parking for this place? is it difficult to park? Will be traveling a long way want to be prepared!
