Chris was the only person who looked at it who was able to figure out how the water damage was actually happening. Even the insurance adjuster missed it! I also appreciate that Chris and his team worked to save me money, e.g. keeping the original bathroom vanity when we determined it was still usable. This was an unplanned expense, so the ability to work with GreenSky was a big plus, too. The vinyl plank floor looks and feels great; now I wish I could have it in my kitchen and entry, too. Next time, when I hope I have a planned remodel, I will be calling Van Vleet Construction.

Working with Chris VanVleet was AMAZING!!! We had a 25 or 30 year old rotting, 3 tier deck that…read moreneeded to be demolished and replaced. Chris spent almost 2 hours going over the new deck plan I had drawn up, and suggested some changes that would allow us to have a larger deck, and still stay within our budget. Our new deck is almost 10 feet above ground. The stairs go down to a 4x4 landing, and then make a 90 degree turn, and end up directly in front of our gate. The deck is beautiful, and rock solid. Chris and Darian were polite and professional throughout the entire project. Chris made sure that all of our needs were met, and gladly accomodated us on some last minute changes. Chris is a man of great integrity, and a hard worker, and we will be hiring him for future remodeling projects.

Craig, his key guys (Marty and Chuck) and all of his subcontractors were extremely professional, easy to work with and PATIENT. As we met with the various material suppliers and told them we were working with Schoenberg Construction, we always heard: "Oh, they're good to work with." With any large construction project, you always run into unforeseen issues - ALWAYS! What counts is how those issues are resolved. We, of course, had our share of unexpected issues, and Craig and his subcontractors always worked to resolve the issues in a prompt, fair and equitable way. Craig also worked very closely with our bank throughout the construction process to provide the detailed financial records now required by banks from the start to completion of construction.
