Chris was the only person who looked at it who was able to figure out how the water damage was actually happening. Even the insurance adjuster missed it! I also appreciate that Chris and his team worked to save me money, e.g. keeping the original bathroom vanity when we determined it was still usable. This was an unplanned expense, so the ability to work with GreenSky was a big plus, too. The vinyl plank floor looks and feels great; now I wish I could have it in my kitchen and entry, too. Chris spent almost 2 hours going over the new deck plan I had drawn up, and suggested some changes that would allow us to have a larger deck, and still stay within our budget. Our new deck is almost 10 feet above ground. The stairs go down to a 4x4 landing, and then make a 90 degree turn, and end up directly in front of our gate. The deck is beautiful, and rock solid. Chris and Darian were polite and professional throughout the entire project. Chris made sure that all of our needs were met, and gladly accomodated us on some last minute changes. Chris is a man of great integrity, and a hard worker, and we will be hiring him for future remodeling projects.

Craig, his key guys (Marty and Chuck) and all of his subcontractors were extremely professional, easy to work with and PATIENT. As we met with the various material suppliers and told them we were working with Schoenberg Construction, we always heard: "Oh, they're good to work with." With any large construction project, you always run into unforeseen issues - ALWAYS! What counts is how those issues are resolved. We, of course, had our share of unexpected issues, and Craig and his subcontractors always worked to resolve the issues in a prompt, fair and equitable way. Craig also worked very closely with our bank throughout the construction process to provide the detailed financial records now required by banks from the start to completion of construction. They get excess liquidation stuff from dollar tree, dollar general, Costco, etc. I found a few things. You need to really check expiration dates, to me anything from Dec 2022 should be OK in January 2023. Upstairs has furniture and pictures. Prints of Adam Thurman who has the quirky puzzles were $120. They had target field, us bank stadium, etc for $120. I saw a cool buffalo picture for $189. 4/5 stars as cashier was this older lady who sat down and wasn't friendly and did not say thank you after my purchase. Gopher Bargain Center is part flea market, part unclaimed freight, part antique shop, part furniture store, and part complete randomness. Lawn mowers, fishing gear, bedroom sets, hot tub, flour, drain cleaner, cards, cookware, toaster ovens, Eggo waffles in strangely damaged boxes, a wrench big enough to undo the nut on the bolt that holds planet Earth together. These are merely the beginning of the delights found within this building. A trip inside will make you smile at the complete randomness of it all. Bathroom and kitchen fixtures, including the kitchen sink. You might, with enough imagination, be able to build and fully equip and furnish an entire house with the items in this store. That statement, though true at the writing of this review, may well change drastically as early as tomorrow. The Carnivore understands that there is an activity known as "scrapbooking," which he does not understand, but acknowledges the existence of. He is still stunned at the magnitude of items available at this establishment for this purpose. He figures that putting snips of things in a book pales in comparison to putting a steak in his belly, but to each, his own. There are curious smells in various parts of the store, too. some food-like, some solvent-like, some of completely unknown origins. All kidding aside, I promise you there is something here you want, or maybe even need. The entertainment value of wandering around and occasionally saying "What the hell?!?!" is worth a couple hours of your time. You just need to come here and walk around until you find it. As a side note, I believe in my heart that there are no more 75 watt incandescent light bulbs left in the store. I could, however, be wrong. Give it a try, but I would definitely be cautious about food items that are not obviously sealed, and even those, I would definitely wash the exterior of before opening. There are too many non-foods here to completely trust unsealed items.
