I just had a shed built in my backyard. It is my second shed purchased from Tuff Shed. I am so very pleased with the Clearstory model. It has exceeded my expectations. That said, what truly impressed me was the efficiency and speed the men took to build the shed. They wasted no time to unload and begin building immediately. Although building the shed went very fast, that did not mean that the skill and craftsmanship was sacrificed. The builders, Eddie, Will and Frank were excellent communicators and kept me informed of the progress even as I watched. What truly impressed me was the attention to detail. After the trim was nailed and caulked, the installers went around the structure and touched up areas where the paint was scuffed up or had a visible nail. Top Notch! I also want to call out James Crawford who offered excellent customer service. When I called Tuff Shed, I wasn't sure I articulated what I wanted. James listened to me as I described what my needs were for the shed. He helped me (virtually) build my shed based on what I needed and wanted. And after I put in the order, I decided to modify the initial order and add another element (Transom windows), James was quick to accommodate my request and make the change. Lastly, James also recommended the company who installed the stone gravel pit where the shed would be placed on. THAT team were simply great. They arrived on time and took no time in building the base where the shed would go. The attached photos is proof of the collaborative efforts between myself, James Crawford, and the building team. I was initially pleased with the shed and didn't have any problems until the pavers used to level the shed started sinking into the soil, causing it to sit lower on one side . I spoke with (James), my sales representative about the situation and was told that he would have someone reach out to schedule a time to come out to re-level it. What he didn't say was that it would cost $300 . I found that price to be extremely high considering (Tim) the person that reached out to about it , stated " we will probably just use a jack to lift up the low side and put in a couple shims". To me, that was the bare minimum and would probably take less than a 1/2 hr to do the job and should not cost 300 Not please at all, especially after being a customer who bought and referred others to this establishment because I thought they were a company that would do the right thing, when it came to any issues involving their product. I was wrong !!! I guess Sales are always the best part of the deal for Tuff Shed. Outside of that , YOUR ON YOUR OWN , even if they made even more money from your referrals and recommendations based off of how the sales experience went. Gotta do better... read more

James C. is a great sales person. I trusted him to recommend certain designed features and he was patient during a point I wanted to changes some of the features. He worked tireless over one weekend communicating with me on a regular basis. He was extremely responsive each and every time I reached out with questions. The shed was delivered yesterday and installed by Fernando and his helper. Both arrived on time and kept me informed several times during the install on their progress. Everyone has been extremely professional and courteous. I now have a beautiful shed built to my specifications as a home based business workshop. I'm overjoyed and very satisfied with everyone involved. The entire process from customizing my shed online, getting financing documents created and approved online, working with James on the final design, and having the shed installed in one day was a very positive and pleasant experience. Everything you want in a salesperson. He worked through several design changes before we arrived at the final design. Update: I'm so Excited. Three weeks ago, I met with James Crawford--see above. Today, my Tuff Shed arrived and was installed. The crew sent me an ETA and arrived on time. The two guys that did the installation confirmed everything with me first, worked flexibly with me to put the shed where I wanted it, and they were impeccable and worked quickly! The entire install process took maybe 3 hours and that included painting. At the end, they walked me through it and made sure everything was what I ordered--it was! Later, after the work crew was gone, James checked in to make sure I was happy with everything and to review next steps. He was quickly able to help lower the cost of shed thru questions that clarified my access location to install space & nearby access to electrical plug. The sales process was not intense or pushy towards upselling me into other additional items.
