On a stressful morning Able provided me with a delightful driver (the owner's daughter) who knew the area like the back of her hand and delivered me there and collected me afterwards. I paid £10 each way and having been quoted by other nearby cab firms £25 and £18 each way I thought this very reasonable for peace of mind. I can't fault my experience with Able. Driver, who is owner's son, was upset over personal issues. His dad instructed him to take care of business; did not fare so well for the 8 of us who were to be taken on a 6 1/2 hour tour of Cornwall. Driving and taking curves in a way that was flinging people in the back of the van all around, no idea of time management or even what sights we were seeing. He acted like a young kid, fooling around with other driver, giving the middle finger; all very juvenile behaviour. Father gave all appearances of being able to provide us with a well scheduled trip and time for lunch; he should have been the one who was driving. Emails from several in the group to the company have received no response. Payment had to be made by bank transfer so there is no financial recourse, which we knew up front. So pay your money and take your chances. Sad, as the father has recently purchased this company and more ship tours are going into Falmouth. More reviews like this and he will be only a cab company for the locals as those looking for tours won't be comfortable using them.

The setting is nice and relaxed being a little way out of Falmouth itself. the owner seem quite laid back and you just ring the door bell to let them know you've arrived or that you want to pay. It is probably a little more expensive than some campsites in the area but then the others we have stayed at around there have not been as pleasant or had as good facilities. We found it fairly quiet but that probably is very dependant on who you happen to have next to you at the time.

The holiday park has a security entrance where they read your number plate via a camera and only open them to people who have already booked and registered their registration number; this is all part of the booking process. They have quite a big heated swimming pool, a toddlers play area, adventure playground, launderette, aviary, pub, TV/games room and a local shop where you can buy calor gas and camping gas. They also have their own café were they serve hot food such as breakfast, chips and burgers ect. This holiday park is found not too far from Newquay and Perran porth.

The cleanliness of the amenities is next to none. Please don't be deceived into thinking this is the sort of park where you can party to the early hours or your children can run riot. This is a very family orientated site which means that everyone can enjoy and still get a well earned rest. There is plenty of room for children to play safely including a park, a games room and a family friendly pub and restaurant. There is a heated swimming pool although maybe abit cold for under 1's. I think one of the biggest plus's is the security on the site. After stopping at the nearby Haven site the week before when a child went missing then we realised that anyone could wonder on and off. On New Perran there are barriers in and out with number plate recognition. If you want a safe and relaxing holiday than this is the place for you.

The site is beautifully kept, and COVID protocols are adhered to so we always felt safe. Ray, the owner, was on hand for anything we needed and always had a ready smile. Location is amazing, with a beautiful sea view and easy walking distance to the harbor where you can take the ferry to Fowey. Highly recommended.
