I'm on vacation and just wanted a vehicle to fit my needs and be trustworthy. I'm handicapped and a senior citizen and the treatment overall so far is ROTTEN TO THE CORE! Well, the oil leak was solved, but the squeaky brakes continued. Took it back two weeks later, and they must have just sprayed WD-40 onto the breaks, so it would not squeak as they drove me around the parking lot. But, 30 seconds out of the parking lot, the brakes were squeaking again, and screeching still (did they even replace them?) and is now my oncoming warning to pedestrians :-/ ... I have since heard a few bad word-of-mouth reviews about this place (Pep Boys in SOUTH Mayaguez, across from the Mayaguez Mall) . Live and Learn I guess, I'm new to the area. Avoid this Store/Shop.

The manager went thru the entire truck pointed everything that was wrong and gave pricing . It needed brakes rotors calipers,brake hoses,clutch parts,bulbs ,battery,tires,shocks,bushings ,steering parts ,front end work,tune,up,fluids changes,engine cooling, drive shaft bushings, bent steering arms, Basically everything was warn and need replacing I figured 4-5k When the final bio came out to 3k and the truck ran like new You can trust these people and everything was completed in a day WOW My friend said if anything goes wrong they will back it for life

An hour and a half later, I had not received my car or report. They claimed they were pulling the codes. I can pull my own codes. Finally after several requests for my car, I had to get loud and demand my car back, and forget about the codes and report! What a big waste of time!! I was told the manager went to get my car, so I went to the work area to meet him, but I went via one route and he returned with my car via another route. When I met up with said manager, I snatched keys and took off. It was obvious workers were lying and stalling waiting for the manager to return from linner! Never going back to that place again!!!

Usually, competitive and fair prices with a surprisingly clean facility (In my experience, both in. PR and U.S.A. , gas stations are not the cleanest place to visit. Because of fuel and constant traffic, the facilities seem usually dirty and I can definitely understand why the gas pumps seem always dirty; never can understand why restrooms tend to be nasty, although nit the case at this particular gas station). Finally, the convenience store is pretty large and even has a "café" section where you can find your usual limited variety of coffee drinks (not the best coffee in the works but decent enough) and even grab a hot dog, pizza slice, and sandwich, among other things.
