Really enjoyed our late lunch here on Black Friday shopping. It was nice and cozy on the inside after freezing outside. The hospitality is super welcoming. Well the interior design is country chic. Our server was really friendly and knowledgeable and helped us pick out some of our menu items. We had to order three orders of their famous biscuits and I must say that the peach cobbler jam was my favorite that came with the biscuits. I really enjoyed my shrimp and grits that were flavorful and perfectly portioned. My husband really enjoyed the flat iron steak and he chose his two sides as a macaroni and cheese and crispy potatoes, which were actually similar to tater tots. The rest of our table, also ordered a salad, fried chicken, and other delicious foods. I wouldn't mind coming back again and ordering more biscuits, just for myself.

Worth the hype! The chicken tenders were great in every style we tried. The inside of the restaurant is super cute, but we dined on their patio outside.

Garden Omelet - rosemary parmesan breakfast potatoes & biscuit in back -- super yummy

The garden omelette was super yummy i loved it! I also loved the biscuit--sweet, biscuity, yet not too dry. The restaurant was pretty small but very cute. We went in as a super big group (~20) and service was slower than we usually experience for this size group. They may have been understaffed at the time because they only had one girl bringing out a ton of food and she was kinda slow. Otherwise pretty good!

Great place! My wife and I just went here on a recent trip to Greenville and were excited to find out they just opened one by us in Kansas City. I had the fried chicken meal and it was really good. Nice big open restaurant as well. Menu wise it was just what we were looking for in a little trip to South Carolina.

I don't think you can ever go wrong at Tupelo! Breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner are going to hit each and every time. We went for lunch a couple days before Christmas because they were doing a BOGO entree deal. (IYKYK - they can be expensive) My husband got the Whiskey & Onion Smash Burger. I got the Southern Chicken BLT. Both were delicious! Our waiter was amazing and attentive as well. It did take a little while for us to be seated and for our food to come out, but we didn't let it damper our experience.

Service was good, ambiance was decent. I ordered the peach compote chicken and waffles, fried okra on the side, and fried green tomatoes. The chicken was very dry with light to no seasoning. The waffles were fluffy and the peach compote was really good. Recommend if you like peaches! I recommend the fried okra and tomatoes if you're already a fan. They are fried well and taste fresh. But nothing too out of the ordinary. This is a decent place to get food they had a lot of options that I wouldn't mind going back to try.

Great ambience! Bring a sweater if you are cold natured. Reservations are encouraged. Didnt take long for us to be seated. Ordered the biscuits, for a great cause, fried okra, omelet with potatoes and the shrimp and grits with soysage. The grits were runny for my liking. One of the potatoes was burnt. Other than that, customer service was good. The food had great taste. The blueberry compote that came with the biscuit was delicious. They also bring out honey to the table for the biscuits. 3.8 out of 5. I would definitely return. I also got a free glass by signing up for their rewards.

Bourbon Peppercorn Glazed Meatloaf , Mac & cheese , Brussel sprouts

Awesome BIRTHDAY date with Tupelo Honey today. Food /Service / Ambiance made it hard to leave. Server Christy was exceptionally pleasant & attentive. Chef Jamin made it even BETTER. The butter pecan cheese cake he suggested was FIRE !!! His expertise on meal selections & ingredients was spot on & it's obvious THIS is his passion . I had such a wonderful time it was hard to leave. I'm planning my next visit for brunch with family & friends. By the way the location is delightful. I ordered their special brine fried chicken to go & included a pic below of the my Bourbon Peppercorn Glazed meatloaf with crispy Brussel sprouts & Mac & cheese. The fried okra was epic & did NOT make the pic LOL . Thanks again for a BEAUTIFUL experience see you all again soon. Sincerely, Pamela Brown

Fried chicken and waffles with a side of breakfast potatoes

We stopped by Tupelo Honey for brunch on our way to the SEC Tournament and had a nice experience overall. Katherine was our server and did a great job, offering helpful recommendations and attentive service. I ordered the chicken and waffles with breakfast potatoes. The waffle was really good, but the chicken was just okay and a little on the dry side. The breakfast potatoes, however, were excellent--perfectly cooked and well seasoned. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits and gave the dish high marks. She really enjoyed it and thought it was full of flavor. Overall, it was a good brunch stop, and we would definitely return if we're back in Greenville.

Hannah, thank you for your friendly and thoughtful service!!! The place was rocking on a Sunday afternoon. They have the best fried chicken and waffles and everything on the menu is superbly delicious! I've been here several times and enjoy the food and service each time. Breakfast potatoes are uniquely prepared here!!! You'll love it!! We will be back!!

This place was a very cute brunch location ! Family friendly and easy to have conversations. Quite packed on a Sunday so def make reservations! Service was phenomenal, our waitress was even honest about our picks and offered alternatives based on what we liked! I enjoyed the sweet potato pancake and peach lemonade!

Delicious southern fried chicken and the best grits we've ever had. The quiche was light and fluffy.

Do they host events? Trying to contact them about a rehearsal dinner but have been trying for 2 months and have not heard back from anyone, but love Tupelo Honey and really want to work with them for our rehearsal dinner

I am not sure, but the manager left me his email address. You could always reach out to t.edwards@tupelohoneycafe.com

Do they serve halal at all?

Just 1 burger. Best place, and reasonable, is Pita Grille on S. Pleasantburg.. Also good, Persis buffet on Woodruff.

I had the mango salmon with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and it was outstanding -- tender, bright, and perfectly balanced. A huge shoutout to our waitress, Skye, who was incredibly patient as we explored the menu. She walked us through each appetizer and entrée, offered thoughtful recommendations, and helped my Wisconsin coworker dive into Southern cuisine with confidence. Her warmth and knowledge made the whole experience even better. Sassafras delivered on food, service, and Southern hospitality.

We had a reservation so we were seated quickly in a big comfortable group - party of four. The server was a bit quirky. A little "too much" if you know what I mean. The wine list was amazing. So many choices. We shared the Brussels sprouts and a shrimp lettuce wrap. The sprouts were fantastic. The lettuce wrap I do not recommend. The shrimp had no flavor. They should do a spicy Asian sauce on them. I got the chopped salad as a starter. Loved the dried cranberries. Dressing was a little light. Also, very hard to eat with a fork. :-) For the main, I got the filet cooked medium rare. I was eyeing a $100 A2 ribeye but I was someone's guest and did not want to overstep. The filet was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Only $49. Guessing it was 8 ounces. It was served in a Worcestershire jus that was excellent. Also came with mushrooms, asparagus and small potatoes. Loved the dish. Highly recommend!

The crab cakes themselves were quite good, but a little more wet than I'm accustomed to. I quite liked the sweet corn maque choux. - Key Lime Pie: Good. More like a tart, it has very mild flavours which I liked. Server was really good. Very friendly, attentive and professional. Overall, a very good meal. I would return if in Greenville again

Since we had waited about 15 mins, we were able to provide our meal choice at the same time. The food came out about 15 to 20 mins later. It was hot, which was great but the fried chicken was very dry and the mash potatoes had no flavor. The rest of the order was just ok. Our server was zipping around trying to handle several different tables and we did understand it was busy. However, we tried 4 different times to catch her attention to ask for more tea and water. She was walking right past us and we were actively waving our hands and calling to her. On the fifth pass, she finally acknowledged us. We asked for a refill. Instead of stating she would be right back, we got a lecture as to how busy she was. But she would come back with the drinks. 20 mins later, and 4 tables of food and drinks, we gave up. We never got a refill. We waved down a very helpful busboy for a to go box. We boxed up the rest of our lunch and left so that we could have a beverage with our meal. Maybe it was the wrong day but the service was awful. Even the lady who checked us out was just down right grumpy. So much for customer service. Skip it. The food is not that great to deal with poor service.
