The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and nice, big windows. The beds are really comfortable as well! The bathrooms are well appointed and overall the entire room felt very clean and well taken care of. Hotel Tupelo has its down food/drink located in the lobby at their bar, but they are also just a short walk away from a handful of delicious restaurants in downtown Tupelo as well. Overall, I very much enjoyed my experience at Hotel Tupelo! Pro tip: the bathrooms doors are the sliding "barn door" style doors that don't do much for sound prevention or privacy.., that may matter to some people

If the foot traffic wasn't enough to get the adrenaline going, the main event arrived exactly thirty minutes later. ​At 6:22 AM, a fleet of cement trucks rolled in like they were prepping for a high-speed foundation pour. Apparently, the "Quiet Hours until 7:00 AM" rule is more of a polite suggestion than a requirement when heavy machinery is involved. ​The Current Situation: ​The Soundtrack: A rhythmic, piercing symphony of "BEEP-BEEP-BEEP" echoing through the trees and campers. ​The View: Massive spinning drums instead of the sunrise. ​The Trap: They've managed to park exactly where we need to exit. We aren't just awake; we're officially held hostage by infrastructure. ​I'm all for progress, but maybe we could wait until the coffee is brewed before turning the campground into an industrial zone? If you need me, I'll be sitting in my camp chair with others, staring pointedly at my watch until 7:01.

Beautiful !!! We only stayed 1 night but wish we had more…read moretime. We got sight #52 which has a water view right above the swim beach. The concrete pad was pretty level and long enough for a 28' trailer and truck. The crushed gravel patio area had a nice CLEAN table, fire pit, and a pole with 2 hooks (to hang trash bags, lights, towels, etc). The bathroom, shower, and laundry were just a short walk and were very clean. The swim area has a nice beach and there is a roped off area that goes out to 6' deep. The water was warm and the bottom was sandy. The trails wander through the woods and have old asphalt paving which does not detract from the beautiful natural surroundings but feels good underfoot and isn't muddy. The caretakers are super nice people. They give you a large trash bag when you check in. USE IT! We saw a family take a grocery bag of trash to the dumpster and leave the rest of their trash scattered around their site when they left. You shouldn't pay more and stay at a commercial campground that packs you in a parking lot with hardly any trees. Check out our federal campgrounds. They're awesome.
