After spending about $16,000 with the company, I thought that the product would last more than 18 months before having a problem. I guess there's a one year warranty, which didn't help me very much. I thought the quality of the product would at least give me a couple of years of breathing room after spending so much money. I'm disappointed that it'll cost me $500-$1100 to repair the Crease in my Putting Green. I will learn to live with what I see. But for the next person, make sure you get a couple years of guarantee before spending so much money. read more

Had the Imperial Supreme installed in the back yard. Literally half the price of what a competitor quoted. The install crew was prompt, extremely professional, and very kind. It took 2 days to finish the project, but they were sure to move the base material out of the way for the day so we could still access the garage. The crew showed up early and did the install in a day and half. There was issue with the edging being to high and they re-did it for us without hesitation. As you know, the contract always wins. If you try to speak to customer service, they just don't care. In fact, I was not done asking questions and Leticia hang up on me. Had a great first impression with estimator which is why we chose this company. Everything else went downhill: 1. Estimator told us lead time was 2 weeks, real lead time: 4 months 2. Job was not done to description by estimator and the office did not care - they just want to be paid. 3. The team the office contracted out was not respectful: -smoking in yard -leaving trash -playing incredibly loud music after we asked them not to. We work from home and having an infant & toddler who need sleep during the day. 4. The grass is lumpy in areas, not smooth. I wish we had gone with a different LOCAL company, not a franchise who doesn't care about the customer experience. I expected a little more remorse but that was obviously very foolish. read more

DO NOT HIRE THEM FOR ANYTHING. MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY. If there was a way to give less than 1 star review then I would have. I had such bad experience with just scheduling an appointment for estimates. I called them yesterday and made a request for Permanent Christmas lights installation estimates. They said I should receive a call next day for appointment. Today I received a call with timeslot already booked. I told them that the time does not work. The representative said they cannot give a specific time and they can only put in a request for whole day. I don't understand how would that work for anyone. Are people sitting idle for them or take off for them from work. I called them to work with them on this issue but the representative who picked up was least bothered about the issue. We have used this company for about 4 years. At a previous address we lived at a tech named Jeff tried to charge us for a missing sprinkler head when he came to turn the sprinklers on, but we declined because I knew we didn't have one missing. My husband checked when he came home and found it was removed and tossed on the side of the house. At this address we have had a loud water pressure/water hammer issue that we asked them to assist in resolving because you can hear the pipes thud through the entire house on every floor when the sprinklers turn on. He told us last year he would fix it by installing a hammer stop when he came back to turn the sprinklers back on. Fast forward to this year- instead of resolving it, today I was repeatedly told at least 4 times that "someone" messed with the valve outside and after hearing that over and over I assured him we didn't touch the valve. I kept getting a lot of attitude for no reason throughout the entire visit. He insisted that was why we had the issue. I informed him we have the issue every year and they're the only company we have out to turn on the sprinklers. Also, I told him that the issue never occurs when they're here but after they leave. He kept insisting he doesn't want to us to pay for installing the hammer stop because it's not happening now. Again, after explaining the re-occurring issue he asked with the same rude attitude "what do you want me to do about it?" He decided to leave mid-discussion and gave me an "Ok lady" as I tried to talk to him at the door. I asked for his name and he walked off to leave. I asked again in the driveway and he yelled back and just told me to call the office and talk to them. When I asked again "What's your name,sir...this is terrible customer service" he yelled "I'm the only tech they have-" so if you hire them you will get the same tech. Probably the worst experience we have had with a services contractor. Very unprofessional and no real customer service to speak of. We made the mistake of hiring Turf Pros Solutions to install our artificial turf. They are "cheaper" on paper, but by the time you pay to have it done right, you're out quite a bit more money and time, than if you hired a legit company. Several other reviews hint at, or come right out and say that folks are crooks, and after our nightmare, I'm inclined to believe that. A little research on the internet (that we sadly didn't do) confirms this. Our "installation" literally blew away in a wind storm, scattering turf and underlayment across several neighbor's yards. We contacted them and went through weekly BS promises for close to six months, before we did our homework online and were horrified. They then told us the one year warranty had run out and wanted $65 to come give us an estimate on the cost to fix the issue. It is amazing how many unverified 5 STAR reviews they have on google from single-review sources. I'm certain that are as fake as their turf and customer service. JUST AVOID THESE CLOWN! There are so many fair and competent people out there, doing turf installs, you don't need to get tangled up with these crooks. Just a few minutes online and you will know what's up. read more

I would like to respond to Kevin's reply to my review. I am not trying to "get back at the company" just making others aware what has happened to us. Let me be specific about the work your company did. (Reference pictures) Chris said and I quote "We have since decided to replace the entire thing" (the entire email follows.) I just want our grass to get replaced, I just want the job fixed and made right. This company has not replied to any of my attempts to set a date to get this fixed. I call and the don't answer from my phone number, but if I call from another they will answer. But when they realize it is me they hang up. They will not return emails either. Please just keep your word and replace the grass because it is two different colors and was not graded at all. Also I did not get a copy of my signed contact. So that is a separate issue. I requested it several times and and they said they lost it or don't have access to it - I don't remember which. But regardless they never gave it to me. I would like to replace the grass ASAP: I will make any date work. I will update my review if the grass is fixed. .......... That email you forwarded to me from May details what we were going to do when we were just replacing the small section. We have since decided to replace the entire thing so none of that really matters anymore.  But as you brought that to my attention, I did become aware from the original installer of the turf that the edging was not put in by us, but by the landscapers you had out prior to us.  So we would not be responsible for straightening that out. You would have to contact them. The scratch on the patio was barely visible, less than 1 inch according to Tim, so not sure what you want done about that. You made it seem as if it were badly scraped/damaged. The patio was not chipped or destroyed in any way to consider it "DAMAGED" And the reason the turf has to be laid on the patio is because they have to butt it up against the patio to make sure it's a flush cut so there's no gaps between the turf and the patio. We're doing that to avoid what happened before.  Not sure you would understand that but I can have Tim explain the reasoning behind it when he gets there.  Also, we have not received a date from you for installation.  Any other questions can be answered at the time of installation as Tim would be better equipped to answer them.  Thanks Chris read more

Initial interaction with the female that answered the phone and scheduled our appointment was terrible. It took multiple attempts on our behalf to confirm our service was scheduled and set. On the day of our service the contractors arrived with the incorrect work order and were unaware of what the job was to be completed at our address. We also made a personal transaction with a crew member named Robert. He bought an old BBQ of ours and when he came to pick it up was $30.00 short. He said he would come back the next day since he was going to be in the neighborhood. Shame on us for trusting him and allowing him to do so. He never came back or returned any of our phone calls. That left a bad taste in my mouth. It made me wonder if Turf Pros knew what type of people they were employing? I called Turf Pros direct, asked for a manager or Owner and spoke to a woman named Kris. I wanted for her to be aware that although it was a personal transaction it was unprofessional of Robert. She said that she did not know who Robert was and that he was on Jeramiah's crew. Which confirmed that she is unaware of who her employees are and unaware of the type of people she is sending to your house. Turf Pros did a pretty good job on our yard. Hired them to put artificial turf in my back yard. The crew did not appear to be competent (just a bunch of kids). I was assured that the ground would be level and I would see no seams. The completed job had my backyard on a noticeable slope to the side, they did not properly tamper the base so the ground is not flat, and every seam was showing. I informed them of the problem and they said they would correct it. They did come back several times, but each time it got worse. When I was still not satisfied they accused me of ruining the job and that they were not going to honor their warranty. You should understand that they are not a real company, but a middle man that contracts with Nomad crews to complete the work. There is no quality assurance, and they do not stand by their work. They become rude and unresponsive when you try and contact after you pay for the job. My mistake is that I trusted them and paid them before they completed the job. Buyer beware, I am embarrassed every time I have someone in my yard. I feel like a fool for paying all that money for a job I could have done better myself ! read more

Turf Pros Solution provided me a quote for 140 linear feet of Christmas lights ... My home currently has less than 100 linear feet of Christmas lights. The response I receive from Turf Pros Solution: "it's the approximation of what the estimator believes the linear ft to be without him having to get up on the roof to measure". I asked for more lights to be installed based on the written quote they provided me, and they refused. They are over charging every single homeowner who utilizes their services for Christmas light installation. To top everything off, their communication is 100% unprofessional: The associate on the phone told me that the estimator would measure my home for accurate Christmas lights installation ... the estimator showed up, took one glance at my home, wrote up the quote, and left. The estimator told me that my quote included lights around the windows (after I showed him a picture of what we wanted) - when the installers came out and did not include lights around the windows, Turf Pros Solution asked for additional funds to include lights around the windows. The lights installation was scheduled for a Sunday - no one showed up for installation and no one called to inform me ... After 3 phone call attempts to Turf Pros Solution, I finally was able to get ahold of someone to reschedule the lights installation ... and even that date for installation was not met. This is the first and the last time we will be utilizing this company for Christmas lights installation. read more

I called 5 weeks ago to tell the office that I had 3 sprinklers that were not capped and the soil or cement was leaking out. They never called back. So, I called the person, Wendell Cooper, who gave us the proposal. He said he'd make sure someone called me back at the end of the day. After another week, I am still waiting. He never got back to me either to make sure things were handled. Just called him, no answer and it said voice mail has not been set up. What? Very disappointed that they never called or even emailed me. Some neighbors wanted to know who I used and I can't recommend them. Customer Service is everything! I met with the salesperson. We worked out exactly what I wanted. They came to install and I talked to the installer about exactly what I wanted, as discussed with the salesperson. I checked on them several times during the day. Every time I checked only one or two of the crew of six would be working. The others were just standing around doing nothing. When I checked in late afternoon they had actually installed half my lawn in the wrong direction with a seem when it wasn't supposed to have one. I paid for an additional 100 square feet in order not to have a seem but the installers tried to save turf and laid it the wrong way. They then proceeded to run out of time as it got darker and darker and they still weren't complete. I kept telling them to come back tomorrow but they insisted they must finish that night. Well, they didn't end up finishing and had to come back th next day anyhow. I called the office and told them my lawn had been installed incorrectly and I needed someone to come out and take a look. They did come out and he agreed they had done it wrong. I had to work out the exact square footage myself to prove to them I had paid for an additional 100 square feet. Finally he acquiesced. Then he still wanted to charge me extra to do what I had originally asked for. This was five months ago and they still have not come out to fix it. After emailing and asking when they were going to fix it I got a very snotty answer that they were busy and my fix was "only cosmetic". I'm just thankful I only paid half up front. I have cancelled the credit card they have on file so they can not try and charge me for the shoddy job they did. Highly recommend you find someone else to install your turf. read more

I have been a customer for several years and have had them do work on my sprinklers and perform spring water turn on and fall shutoff. I called them recently to schedule an appointment for getting some drip lines added to plants in my backyard and they scheduled an appointment for mid May but there was no show-up, no phone call, nothing. I have been working with this company for almost 1 month to get Christmas lights hung and now they won't respond to phone calls or emails! I wanted to do the lights that I can set on a program to change colors, but when it seemed as though it was going to be a challenge, I said they could put up the ones that everyone else gets, in multi-color bulbs. After I threatened customer service with writing a bad review about them they immediately had another subcontractor come out to review the previous work and saw that it was beyond horrible. These guys not only said they would fix it but they tore it all out and then started all over with all new materials from taking out the dirt that should have been removed, then new gravel & new turf. Excellent work and a fantastic new crew! Not five stars only because it took me FOUR calls over several weeks for the customer service rep to take me serious to get someone over to check the previous install. The previous install was so bad that the new crew took so many pictures and videos of it and was on the phone with the company while doing so to share how bad it was. This new crew went far beyond what I had expected. Now if they will only take big improvement steps with their customer service reps. This review update should have been done a couple of months ago but I wanted to see how the turf held up just to be sure. It's fantastic still. read more

We got a quote for Christmas lights to be hung. Initially I opened the door and Wendell, the person who was there to give the quote, asked if I wanted him to wear a mask since I was wearing a mask. Seeing as we're in the middle of a pandemic with ~200k new cases of COVID every day I said I would. He got a mask out put it in and then deliberately tucked it under his nose. At first I didn't make mention of this since I figured maybe he had mistakenly done this. After talking for a bit at more than 6 feet away, I went back inside while he completed the quote. When I came back out, he wanted to show me something on his phone/tablet regarding his design and I asked him if he could cover his nose with his mask since he still had it tucked directly underneath. I tell you, he gave me the dirtiest look and hesitated before finally covering his nose. He showed me the design but by this point I was done with him and this company. I won't be working with them on my holiday decorating needs (too bad for them we had a very large tree that I've gotten multi-thousand dollar quotes on). I can understand wearing a mask on your own personal time is your own decision but when you're at a customer's house and showing something to them and they are obviously making the effort to be careful, to not match that level of care to make your customer feel comfortable is the biggest blunder you can make as a business. In the process of trying to get a Christmas Lights job completed. I have been told 5 different install dates as each time I call, I am told I am on the next day's schedule. Finally the "crew" came out yesterday (Friday) and did not complete the task. They said they would be out first thing in the morning. When they did not show up by mid-day, I called the company to get an updated job time. I was informed that they might get to me but after everything else scheduled for that day was completed. I am wondering why, when my job wasn't completed, that we weren't first on the schedule for the next day. Well Saturday is done and I am now informed that it will be Monday. Again, this is the 5th time they have pushed the date. (The Christmas season doesn't last forever and this is one less week of lighting) Terrible customer service and terrible scheduling abilities. I will start by saying this is the 1st negative review I have EVER written. I only write positive reviews when I receive excellent service. In this situation if I could provide zero or negative stars I would. This company and its employees are untrustworthy and incredibly difficult to work with. They use subcontractors and sell you on their people doing the work. I personally prefer to work with a company that uses their employees as they typically have more control over the people doing the work as well as quality, main point here is honesty- just tell me upfront. When I reached out about scheduling (after waiting 6+ weeks and checking in every couple weeks) they told me they needed to get with the lady that does all scheduling and would call me back, shortly thereafter I received a call from a 3rd party company that said they would be out to do the install. They are unable to manage a job or keep track of what is going on with their projects. I was quoted 3-4 weeks for installation, however my HOA took a while to approve the installation therefore by the time my contract was signed it was updated to 4-5 weeks for install (this is my issue, not theirs). I continued to call and email as I waited for install (my issue with the delay more than anything is that I wrote a check the day of the proposal to be put on the schedule, I was officially put on the schedule the Friday before install began the following Monday, just short of 7 weeks later). After 7 weeks to the day of signing the contract the project was completed. It was quoted as a one day project, which turned into 3 after they broke underground sprinkler piping that serves a different area of the property in multiple spots, I understand things happen and can't be upset about that, my issue is that no one from the company was aware this happened until I called to speak with the owner about difficulties dealing with them, nor did they seem to care. I also found out later that I either didn't speak with the owner or she lied to me about her name. Nadine is the owner, not Chris apparently. Why hide who you are unless you aren't an honest person or company? After their installers left, I found the knob to my hose bib laying on the ground broken (also had to let them borrow my hose). I received a quote from a plumbing company to replace the hose bib ($195) which was agreed to be deducted from the balance and received an updated copy of the invoice prior to payment. Although I believe they should have offered more due to their breach of contract, lack of communication, lack of empathy of having to stay home from work for 3 days instead of 1, as well as an additional day to be here for the plumber to replace the hose bib. Regardless, I paid to get past dealing with them anymore. Truly the worst contractor of any trade I have ever dealt with. I urge you to call someone else to save yourself frustration, time and money in the long run. Do NOT do business with these people. read more

We had a really great experience with Turf Pros. Jacob came out and fixed a poorly designed irrigation system so that our front and back lawns were being watered properly. He was able to do this by switching out heads and capping off extra sprinklers to improve water pressure. He was very knowledgable and I felt comfortable going with his suggestions. I wish I would have called them sooner because just a few days into our new heads and design, my grass has bounced back! read more

Ordered nearly $2,000 worth of turf for one of our customers. The shipment arrived damaged and we were unable to use it. Contacted Turf Pro Solutions and they told us the shipper (YRC Freight) would refund us and we could order a new piece. Reordered the turf and it arrived in good condition. The shipping company (YRC Freight) said they will only refund us $300 of our original order. Contacted Turf Pro Solutions for several months before I finally got to speak with the manager. She said they are not responsible for the turf once it leaves their warehouse and any refund agreement has to worked out with the shipper. However, we ordered the turf from TURF PRO SOLUTIONS. We had no say in who was going to deliver THEIR product (we didn't choose to go with YRC Freight, that's who Turf Pro Solutions used). If Turf Pro Solutions ran their business with integrity, they would have refunded the remaining amount. The manager didn't care about us getting a refund, and basically said it's not her problem. Completely horrible way to run a business! If you are going to contract shipping companies to deliver YOUR product, you need to have an agreement with them that the customer can be refunded for damaged goods. Now, if we order from Turf Pro Solutions, we have to take a gamble on whether or not our shipment will be damaged, and eat the cost if it is. Completely unprofessional.
