Dr. Dayal is very hands-on and offers different treatment paths, recommending options based on individual patient needs rather than following a cookie-cutter treatment plan. We worked with Dr. Schulte for a few of our appointments, and worked with the staff for coordination, and everyone was super compassionate and professional. Would recommend STL Fertility to anyone who is struggling to conceive.

They have been an invaluable source of support, information and compassion through the whole process. Our manager, Jess, is the absolute BEST! She has been so quick to respond to all of our questions and to relay results for all the testing. The entire staff feels like your own personal cheering squad and genuinely thrilled for your successes and supportive when things don't go quite as expected. I cannot imagine going anywhere else and feeling as loved and cared for as we did at STL fertility. The clinic is clean and I loved that all treatments were handled on site. The front desk ladies responded quickly to all my calls and scheduling was a breeze. The patient portal is easy to use and updated frequently with your current info and results. They made our dreams a reality and I truly can't thank them enough. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!!

t's taken me some time to write this review- I needed to take time and make sure I wasn't writing…read moreout of heartbreak, & that I could write fairly. I will start by saying I was not, in the end, successful in getting pregnant after one years worth of procedures with Dr. Sibler and his team. I do not blame this on Dr. Sibler- what I have come to understand from infertility is that as absolutely gut wrenching as it can be, sometimes, it just doesn't happen, and no one can tell you why. However, there were some things that I do believe could have been avoided, or handled better considering circumstances, and out of kindness to anyone else on an infertility journey I feel they should be pointed out so that someone else doesn't find themselves in the painful, & lonely, situation my husband and I found ourselves in. We had our initial consult with Dr. Sibler in Nov. 2014. Three hours after our scheduled appt. time we saw the Dr. for approx 5 minutes. He had already seen chart, & said Mini IVF would be the best course of action. He also pointed out that I had a small cyst that they would be removing the next morning in order to get it out of the way before I started IVF meds. When I say all of this happened in 5 minutes, I am being generous. Whirlwind! Before we knew it I had had surgery to remove the cyst and was prescribed the stimulation meds. I would have to be back in St. Louis (we flew in from Milwaukee) the following month for retrieval. Looking back, my husband and I never had the opportunity to even discuss moving forward (although we would have)- it was as if we stepped onto the rollercoaster not realizing it was already moving. Back in St. Louis in December for monitoring and retrieval. While there, I asked my nurse coordinator on which day after the retrieval they would be transferring the embryos into my uterus- it was then that she explained to me that it would be three months or more before they would be transferring the embryos, as the Dr. wanted to be sure I was "clear of all the stimulation" meds before they put them in me. I point this out because it should have been my first red flag- why was I this far along into this procedure and no one had thought to mention this to us? The retrieval didn't go as well as hoped. 4 eggs were retrieved, 2 became strong enough embryos and survived freezing. My nurse coordinator explained the the Dr. highly recommended we do another stimulation/retrieval cycle, so we did. This time we had 5 embryos successfully frozen, for a total of 7- we were ready to transfer. Scheduling the transfer was difficult- apparently the Dr. had gone on an 6-8 week vacay & the list of couples trying to schedule transfers was backed up. End of April we transferred 2 embryos, and failed. In July, we transferred two more embryos, and failed. For our third go, the Dr. recommended I come in prior for a Uterine scratch. Two weeks later, we flew back to St. Louis for our 3rd and final transfer. This is where things really took a turn for the worst. You have to understand we had a lot riding on this transfer, $40,000 we had spent between medical fees, prescriptions, and travel back and forth to St. Louis from Milwaukee. Emotionally we were an absolute wreak- we've at this point lost 4 embryos and still no one knows why, no answers as to why it's not working (our embryos have always looked great) and here we are, about to transfer our last 3- the nurse comes in literally moments before they took us back and mentions something about Dr. Sibler not being there that day. I asked, "I'm sorry- did you say Dr. Sibler isn't here?" to which she replied "Yes, he has a speech he's giving on the east coast this weekend and he's nervous, so he took the day off to prepare." I lost it. Tears galore. After all of this, to have to come so far, & our Dr. called in that day to prepare for a speech. Now of course there was another Dr. there to handle the procedure, but that's not the point. We had spent ridiculous amounts of energy, emotion, and money, to have Dr. Sibler, the supposed IVF genius, to get us pregnant. And on our last chance, he doesn't show up. Our 3rd transfer failed. Neither my nurse coordinator nor the Dr. were in the day they received my blood results, so they had someone I had never spoken to before call and let us know. Before hanging up and having an absolute meltdown, I asked if it were possible to schedule a time to speak to Dr. Sibler- we needed something, anything, some kind of answer or advice- at this point we just wanted something. The nurse explained to me that Dr. Sibler does not take phone calls with patients, but if we'd like to schedule to come into the office for a consult she would see what she could do. I explained to her that we lived in Milwaukee & had spent the past year flying back and forth and jumping through hoops trying everything he had suggested, and didn't that earn us at least a 5 minute phone call? She explained unfortunately not, but she'd have our nurse coo

Beware this overrated, impersonal clinic. Dealing with the Infertility Center of Saint Louis was a…read morecomplete disaster. Dr. Silber is really touted as this "expert", especially for "older" patients, but I had no direct contact with him. In my opinion, he seems to be a figure head for the business, but not actually involved in any personal way. I communicated with a coordinator, who placed me on a protocol that wasn't individualized for my situation. I traveled all the way to St. Louis, where I turned up for my first appointment, whereupon my cycle was cancelled unceremoniously. There was no appointment with Dr. Silber, just a speedy blood draw and ultrasound at a hospital, where I was one of a factory line of similarly sad patients. I had spent so much money to get there, booking two weeks at a hotel, expensive flights, costly medication, and thousands of dollars for the cycle, only to be sent home with nothing. But it got worse. I had to see my gynecologist for emergency surgery to aspirate a cyst caused by the medication. (My doctor said she would've warned me against this clinic.) All of this pain and expense could have been avoided had I undergone a baseline ultrasound in my home town beforehand. Zero care. Zero compassion. Please learn from my experiences and avoid.

If you get diagnosed with anything relating to female infertility like DOR, have short cycles,…read morethrow early follicles, or respond poorly to birth control, go elsewhere. My concerns were ignored, i was put on a cookie cutter protocol, not told despite my frequent questions that my 'standard' protocol had been changed to a luteal phase retrieval because of high estradiol numbers at baseline signifying either a cyst or early follicle--just like I'd been concerned about. I was encouraged (read, worried about losing 7.5k$ due to prepayment that was not per their contract reimbursable through clinic cancellation) to not cancel a round that THEY should have preemptively canceled due to extremely low estradiol numbers for 6 follicles, leading to the retrieval of 1 egg and 5 empty follicles, rather than cancelling on their end and reviewing my protocol as should have been done. To have them call on the next day and act like I should be excited that one follicle fertilized normally with a sum total of .9-1.5% chance of it leading to a live birth (85% attrition funnel, 25% reduction for chance of genetic disorder, 50% attrition for sex selection--the entire reason i began IVF to begin with, and 18-23% live birth chances for those math curious) was the icing on the cake

Co-pays went missing from billing statements, and we had to chase them constantly just to fix their errors. They never told me my doctor, Dr. Alexander, who was great, had left the clinic. I was still scheduled for a procedure without this information and I found out on my own. When I requested my medical records to be sent to my new clinic, they ignored the request and never followed up. This place is all about squeezing every dollar they can from vulnerable patients. They nickel-and-dime you, mismanage records, misbill procedures, and show no regard for your care or outcome. Save yourself the stress, money, and emotional toll--go anywhere else.

Most of their providers was listed as covered providers. This was recommended by Kind body. I also checked their website and saw Humana listed. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and use their portal. There was great information and resources. I followed all directions including filling out pages upon pages of my personal information and inviting my husband to create his portal login. I was looking forward to this appointment. Day of the appointment- I received a call from their number but due to a work meeting, I could not answer. I called back within 15 mins. The front desk person didn't know why someone would call. She checked with the provider and they figured it was the benefits person calling to verify. She said it would probably be covered at my afternoon appointment, but they may call back. About an hour before my appointment, I logged into the portal and see an message from Tempis, "...I am an Insurance Coordinator with Kindbody. I am reaching out to you because upon verifying your infertility benefits, I was informed that Kindbody is "out of network" with Tricare we are not contracted. Unfortunately, they expressed that you only have coverage with "in network" providers. Any services rendered at Kindbody will be considered Self Pay, and payment will be due at time of service. The new patient consultation is $300 and that will be collected upon check in." I called in to cancel my appointment and spoke to Sadie. She confirmed I was out of network. I went ahead with cancelling the appointment thinking I most have misread my insurance site. Nope. I verified on Humana that providers were in-network. I called back to question this. Sadie then let me know that they were still in-network, but they have just decided to stop taking Tricare in 2024. I communicated that this should be made clear especially since it is 3 months into the year. This is strange. Especially from a company that touts on the top of this yelp page that they offer a military discount. All in all, my time was wasted.
