We went blueberry picking at Turner's yesterday and had the most excellent day! The berries were perfect and plenty full, no mosquitoes and it wasn't even too hot. Together we got about 35 pounds I personally have 12 pounds. I have already washed and most of them. We go back every year. I highly recommend this place!!! read more

My mom and I came pretty late into the season, but the blueberries were plentiful. The berries were on the smaller side, but the flavor was great! We weren't able to pick many due to the mosquitoes (it did rain a lot). So make sure you wear bug spray/cover up well. The man who owns it was really nice! read more

It was our first time picking blueberries. My husband called to check their hours for the weekend and they had a short and sweet message announcing that Saturday was the start of the season. Yes! Great timing for us. There was no charge to walk back and pick your own like some places in Metro Detroit charge. We brought our own bucket but they had plenty available if you hadn't. I asked the girls in the shed/cashier area if they had any tips as we were newbies to blueberry picking. They said go straight to the furthest row of bushes and pick high and low because most people just go for what's right in front of them. We had our one year old with us in the Bjorn so we were only in it for the short haul. She had a blast as blueberries are her favorite food. So 40 minutes and $3.00 worth of blueberries later we had a very enjoyable experience and will be back in the future. The rest rooms looked like an outhouse situation.
