Friends brought me to Spin Bagel, and for that I am gastronomically thankful, for as good as New York bagels in general taste to me, the bagels at Spin Bagel have a "spin" on them that cannot be beat: clean, high-quality ingredients that enhance the taste as well as nourish the body, and a lightness to them that allows you to eat the whole bagel without feeling that heavy lump in the stomach one can get from the standard, doughier bagel. When I asked the owners what their secret is, I was told that it's the fermentation process that's unique. They also offer an array of meats and others bagel toppings that don't contain any nitrates/nitrites, artificial flavors, or preservatives. No seed oils are used. The atmosphere is super nice too - décor is charming, but it's the service that stands out. Our server was Angelina, who is charming and friendly, and moves like the wind. She served our food quickly, but no one rushed us out. I enjoyed all of it - the bagel and toppings, the service, the atmosphere. Going back again, for sure, next time I get to Bayside!

There's so much variety and the specialty bagels are *chef's kiss*, AMAZING! The customer service is PHENOMENAL! Yvonne (Not sure if I spelled it correctly) is so pleasant and calls me by name when I walk through the door. The ambiance is beautiful with all the greek decorations and themes. I would say what my favorite bagel is on here but they already sell out of it before the afternoon (it's that good, guys) I Love Spin, -Shen.

They perfectly combine tender and flavorful meats with hot pressed bread. Service: 5/5 The staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming from the moment we walked in. They checked in at all the right times without being overbearing, kept drinks filled, and made sure everything came out smoothly. Ambiance: 5/5 Press 195 has a cozy, laid-back neighborhood vibe. The space feels warm and inviting, with exposed brick, wood accents, and a casual bar area that makes it feel like a local pub without feeling too loud. The atmosphere feels comfortable, like a go-to spot you can visit any night of the week.

It's been six years since I last came here. The food is still pretty good and the service was…read morefriendly, but overall I found the sandwiches a bit overpriced. The menu has very detailed, almost elevated descriptions that make everything sound spectacular, but in practice the flavors don't quite come through, especially the sauces, which are barely noticeable. Our server was flexible when we asked to swap the potato chips for fries on the kids' grilled cheese meal, which we appreciated. However, we were then charged $1.40 for a side of ranch for the fries. I understand they have a range of specialty sauces and dips that are clearly priced on the menu, but that still felt steep for ranch. They also offer a combo option to add fries for $5, but the portion doesn't really feel aligned with the price. The steak sandwich itself was surprisingly tender, even though it looked like it might be tough. That said, I couldn't taste the roasted red pepper sauce, and the "sweet onion jam" turned out to just be caramelized onions. My mother actually ended up picking them out because she doesn't eat onions. (she won't eat onions that she can see) The buffalo cauliflower was tasty, but could have been crispier. The "serves two" description also felt a bit generous given the small portion. I also ordered a brisket sandwich to go with fries. The coleslaw sounded great on the menu, but in reality the flavors didn't stand out, no real hint of jalapeño, just a fairly standard slaw. Overall, the food descriptions felt more impressive than the actual execution, though the to-go fries portion was more generous, which was a nice surprise. Would I go back? I'm not sure. Maybe for a casual visit with a few beers and fries with an assortment of dipping sauces...I am a sucker for those.

They have a great selection of pastries, cake slices, mini cakes, whole cakes, breakfast items, sandwiches, and plenty of drink options. I tried a few of their pastries and they were all good. The Biscoff latte was my favorite--I definitely recommend it if you like sweeter drinks, and you can always ask for it less sweet if that's your preference. It's also nice that they offer non-dairy milk options. The employees were also very kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The prices are fair, the atmosphere is comfortable, and there's plenty to choose from on the menu. I'd definitely come back!
