I would say that now in days it seems that children are easily distracted with gadgets and television. It really makes it hard for a parent to have them focus. I noticed my son was having trouble with completing work and focusing. Joshua loves the Tutoring Club and The Tutoring Club loves Joshua! My son started last year for reading at the age of 6. He lacked confidence and was overall fearful of making mistakes. My initial meeting with Tristan was very positive. He was very understanding, reassuring, and motivating. His words...."I can tell you love your son Ms Wallace, and we will take good care of him". I signed him up for the 96 hour reading program for KG to 1st grade. I saw small improvements week over week, but what really got me was when he just picked up a letter he received in the mail and read the entire thing without pause. It brought tears to my eyes. All 3 of my babies (Kinder, 2nd, and 3rd) have attended Tutoring Club since Fall of 2015. All of the tutors are great. So awesome that they come home and tell us about their tutors and how fun they are. We knew we've made the right choice in choosing and trusting the Tutoring Club of Pearland when they all come home and say, " We have so much fun, we forget that we're learning!" The progress that all of my kids have shown are immediate. They are eager and excited to learn Math and Reading. My son Jo'Mauri says the Tutoring Club is awesome!!!, and I have to agree with him. When Jo'Mauri started struggling last year I search out a place for him to get quality tutoring. We found the Tutoring Club and Tristian and his staff has made learning challenging and fun. Even after a long day at school Jo'Mauri is still excited about going to the Tutoring Club. I am a junior in high school, and I needed a program to help me improve my scores for the SAT. The Tutoring Club was just the place to go! Although I started only a few weeks ago, I have learned so much already. The Club teaches an alternative way of thinking and approaching questions, a method that is less time-consuming and much more effective. My tutor, Angela, works hard to listen to any questions I have and thoroughly explain the answers. The staff is very friendly, and they work to make me feel at home. We have been very please with our child's progress since being at the Tutoring Club in Pearland. He started tutoring mid way through the school year and his teachers noted a remarkable difference. He has enjoyed going through the summer as well. The cost is a bit staggering, but seems to be worth it. The staff has always been professional and on task, which I appreciate. They have been very good at communication and organization. There isn't any wasted time, which we feel also helps to justify the cost. I am the parent of an 8 year old who loved school but was not on grade level by the end of 2nd grade. My husband and I were very concerned that our daughter would continue to fall behind if we did not intervene with the help that she needed to get her on track. My daughter came to the tutoring club with low self esteem. she had a low reading level and was nervous....after just a few months of the tutoring she has high self esteem is reading messages on the computer trying books she did not even want to open we still have a lot of work to do but with the tutoring club I see smiles when she reads instead of tears. I am really glad that I found the Tutoring Club!! In a short while my son has truly grown to love to learn and read. As soon as he gets out of school he is excited to go to tutorials. My daughter was a grade C when she started at Tutoring club and within a matter of weeks she was up to a grade A. I didn't believe Tristan when he said I would see improvement quickly but he was correct. Her teachers have also noticed an improvement in her confidence, grades and involvement in class.
