LAMB KABOB plate with Humus and Baba Ganoush $22.99 (05/11/2026)

GREAT FOOD. I ordered Lamb Kabob plate with Hummus and Baba Ganoush. They are very creamy and are not skimming on oil drizzled over them. The owner cooked lamb to my liking, medium well and came out pink and tender. Rice is moist and flavorful and he even grilled the pita to make it hot when asked. This place has a big dining room in comparison to other places. Please come and check out their great food and support this local establishment. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent service and friendly, simple but comfortable dining room space, but extraordinary shawarma! The flavor was off the charts! Delicious! Will definitely be going back! Bring your appetite!

There's no shortage of great Mediterranean food in Glendora so competition is stiff. I've been seeing this place pop up in my social feeds as highly recommended so we decided to try it out. Located where Rika's empanadas used to be, there is ample parking on a Saturday evening. Inside is clean and bright with a good sized dining area. Right off the bat, we were encouraged to hear positive feedback from a customer in line. The staff/cooks were working diligently and the employee who took our order was very patient and gave us some good recommendations. We ended up going with the beef and chicken kabobs, hummus and baba ghanoush and a side of 3 falafels. The price is on par with the portion size, the chicken and beef were flavorful and moist and our sides were delicious as well. We will be back! *** please make the print on the menu a little larger - it was a little difficult to read

Tut's Kabob is a solid go-to for Mediterranean in Glendora! The beef and lamb kebabs were juicy, tender, and full of flavor, chicken was perfectly grilled, and the shrimp had a nice smoky char. The rice and hummus were on point, and portions are BIG. My hubby and I could have totally shared one plate lol. We definitely had lunch leftovers for the next day! Only tip for takeout ( well for me to ask next time I order) is for the tzatziki and salad on the side since the heat can make them a little warm/soggy. Still delicious either way! Definitely coming back! Check it out, this food will not disappoint! Go hungry! lol :)

Going 3 times in barely a week and 3 days after they officially opened, tells you... this. place. IS. FIRE!!!! So far we've tried the chicken kebab plates with salad and hummus. Chicken Kebab Plate with Beet Salad and Baba Ganouj (which I am obsessed with) Chicken Schwarma w/ baba Ganouj and Beet salad. That rice is AN ADDICTION. The prices are hard to beat , and the quality/quantity and taste are top tier. Tonight we got some light bites to eat with fries and pita and dined in which was nice. Very comfy dining area with nice lighting and plenty of seating. The hummus with beef schwarma was BOMB. Beet Salad, always a win for me. The Baba Ganouj (eggplant) is an absolute star for me. And every time we've gone, it's been nothing but wonderful warm service with gratitude. Also do NOT cheat yourself of getting the in house made pistachio baklava, absolutely perfect in every way! Fresh, Flaky, lots of flavor and perfect portion. And not overly syrupy sweet, just light & lovely! Support this location, I know as of lately we've had an influx of Mediterranean inspired restaurants here in Glendora, but this one, may officially be my new favorite. I'm hyper fixated on trying everything on their menu.

Tut's Kabob is a new Mediterranean restaurant in Glendora. They opened about one month ago. It is a family business. My goal has always been to support family businesses. If you live in the area, the restaurant is replacing Rika's Empanadas. The staff were very welcoming and genuinely warm. The restaurant has inviting ambience. So far, I ordered twice from Tut's in less than two weeks. It included an online order. For my first visit, I ordered; -Beef kabob 5/5 Very juicy and flavorful beef kabob, rice and pita bread. For the side dish I got salad and Hummus. - kofta kabob 5/5 Grilled, juicy and well seasoned kofta kabob. It came with rice and pita bread with choices of side orders. - Mediterranean salad 5/5 Fresh tomato, cucumber, bell peppers and onions in their house dressing. - Falafel 4/5 It was okay but not perfect. -Seasoned French Fries 5/5 Crispy from outside and had fluffy interior. - pita chips 5/5 It was freshly toasted and crunchy Baklava 5/5 Crispy, flaky, rich in nuts and perfectly sweetened, just excellent! For the online order, I got; - Mix Kabob 5/5 Two kabobs of your choice served with rice, warm pita, and two cold appetizers. -Shrimp Kabob 5/5 2 skewers of shrimp kabob served with rice, 2 cold appetizers, pita bread, and sauce Shrimp Kabob (Large) - French Fries 5/5 The service was outstanding. The food was excellent, the amount was generous, in addition to their inviting ambience and the reasonable price. Tut's Kabob is a great addition to Glendora. Congratulations to the owners.

I will order it again!

Me and the wife wanted to try some place new, we very much enjoy Mediterranean food and there are a lot of options in Glendora/Covina area. There was just one employee working doing it all and let me tell you he knocked the food right out of the park. He was very friendly and very helpful. It's a cool little spot with a lot of seating if you have a big party. It's a little warm in the area where you order but once you move to the seating area it's nice and cool. Definitely coming back because I have a feeling no matter what you order here it will be satisfying no matter what!

Portions are BIG. This beef kabob plate can easily serve two people. Packed with flavor, the rice and cucumber yogurt combine well together. Steak was cooked to perfection and well seasoned.Definitely coming back and add this place to my top 10. Amazing service Dine in available with a nice ambiance.

TUT'S is always clean, good ambiance, food cooked and served fresh. They greet you with a smile. Good parking. This is a new business that looks very promising. A must try!

This place is EVERYTHING. From the moment you walk in, you feel it--it's warm, welcoming, and genuinely comforting in a way that's so hard to find these days. You can tell it's family-owned because the kindness and care are in every single detail, from the service to the food. The service? Top tier. Everyone treats you like you're part of the family, and it makes the whole experience feel so personal and special. And the FOOD... wow. Absolutely delicious. Everything is seasoned perfectly, fresh, and made with love--but let me talk about that chicken ‍ it is SO juicy, tender, and flavorful, it honestly might be the best I've had. Every bite just melts. This is the kind of place you keep coming back to--not just for the food, but for how it makes you feel.

Wow we are very impressed with this place! The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful! The food is made to order so do expect a bit of a wait but it is totally worth it. Every single thing we ordered was absolutely DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend and will be coming back again!

We stopped by this past Sunday a little after 3 PM and were invited to sit anywhere inside. It took a little bit of time to get our menus but that was no problem for us. Here's what we ordered: **Spicy Lebni Plate: We were between this and the tzatziki but ultimately went with the spicy lebni plate because it's something we haven't seen before. We ended up dipping every single thing we had on our table in this dip. With that being said, this was BOMBDOTCOM. (5/5) **Soujouk Boreg: I've had a take on soujouk boreg once so I don't know what a good one is supposed to be like but I'm guessing this is it. This was one of the most delicious savory pastries I've ever had in my life. The meat was tender, juicy, and full of flavor! (5/5) **Fried Cauliflower: Extremely zesty although, I would've liked to see some lemon wedges on the side for those that want just a little bit more. The hummus dip they served with this was good but was amazing with the spicy lebni. One of the best cauliflower dishes I've had to date. (5/5) **Combo for Two: The chicken kebab was borderline juicy and dry but had very good flavor. The beef kebab cooked medium was amazing. The lule kebab was slightly gamey and very salty. The charred pepper was very delicious and I highly recommend you eat it with everything else on the platter. The rice was a little on the saltier side but once you eat everything with pita bread, it's more tolerable. Great dish overall but not spectacular like the others. (4/5) **Jallab: I love trying drinks from different cultures. I was told this was on the sweeter side but I ordered it anyways because it sounded very intriguing. I'm generally not a fan of floral flavors but the mix of rose water, grape molasses, and dates was very refreshing and delicious. Very refreshing and a perfect combo with our meal. (5/5) Overall, great flavor and affordable prices. Everything we had was so delicious but that spicy lebni plate was a massive gamechanger. Definitely ordered too much for two people but we ended up finishing everything besides some pita bread. All that food was just under $90 which was very surprising. If you want to save more, you can pay cash to pay a little over 3% less. The only downside was the slow service at times. It took significantly long to receive our menus and our check at the end. Mr gf was not offered any refills for her coke. We did however, receive one refill for our water during our meal. I usually dock a star for lack of service but honestly, the food was just so amazing that I couldn't do that. I hope management sees this review because this place would easily be my new favorite restaurant if the service was as good as the food quality. This is by far one of the best Mediterranean spots we've ever had. I 100% recommend The Diplomat Junior and we will be back soon!

I placed an order online for pickup and was given a pickup time. The place is very open, spacious and just has a neat vibe to it. I walked right up to the counter to give them my name for pick up and they said they were finishing it up. There were other people waiting for their orders as well. A couple minutes later, the gentleman behind the counter called out "Daniel" and the guy waiting next to me jumped right in and grabbed the bag and took off. I had wondered "I hope they didn't pronounce my name wrong and that was MY order." But didn't think much of it. Then the gentleman behind the counter asked me the name for my order. When I said "Danielle" he said "oh that was yours, the guy just left." He kind of looked at me like it was my problem to fix, so I took off after the guy and the employee followed me. Thankfully, the guy didn't get very far because he was verifying the order, so we made the exchange. Whew! I ordered the charbroiled chicken shish kabob with extra grilled veggies and a side Mediterranean salad as well as the hummus trio with sliced cucumbers instead of pita bread. The chicken kabob meal was delicious! The chicken was cooked to perfection and the option to add on more veggies was much appreciated! I was really excited about the hummus trio, but sadly I found it to be lacking flavor. With the 3 options of regular hummus, spicy red bell pepper and edamame, I was definitely expecting a flavor explosion, but it fell flat for me. I'd definitely come back to try more of their main dishes. Seems like a great little spot to dine in.

$50 for less than a pound of meat? What.A.Rip.Off. We will not be returning. We've been customers…read moreof PKG for a number of years, and it was great (while it lasted). It started going downhill when they got rid of the PKG Rewards. We stopped going soon after that. For some reason, we decided to give a chance one more time a couple of days ago. Big mistake. We ordered to-go, and got the "Family Kabob Combo", 2 skewers. Since we're not big fans of their chicken, we subbed one of the chicken skewers for two Koobideh (with an upcharge of $6) and one Salmon skewer (with another upcharge of $5). The total was $45.97 + Tax ($3.56), grand total of $49.53. This would have been OK, if they gave you a reasonable amount of food for what you pay. Instead, we got a large container of rice, and two small containers of meat and vegetables. Unfortunately, as you can see from the photos, what you get meat-wise is basically extremely skimpy. The two Koobideh skewers weighed a total of 10 OZ. That's TWO of them together (see photo), not one, they weighed only 5 OZ each - barely more than a quarter pound hamburger. The Salmon "skewer" had a total of 5 pieces of salmon, each weighing only 0.8 OZ each, a total of 4 OZ! So what we got for the princely sum of $50 was 14 OZ of meat total - less than a pound, and a whole lot of rice, which costs them next to nothing. If you look at a lot of the older photos of the Koobideh skewers here on Yelp, you can see how much they have shrunk in just a few short years. My guesstimate is they're 50% smaller than they used to be, I know for sure since I bought them in the past that they used to be much larger. The price has increased 35% since we last ate here a couple of years ago, and you get 50% less food for that money, losing on both ends of the transaction. We feel cheated, to say the least. It's too bad, since we do like the taste of the food itself, it hasn't changed - what has changed is the value for what you pay. It isn't worth what they're charging for such a little bit of food (many other restaurants have gone the same way, sad to say). We won't be eating there ever again after this experience, it's impossible to enjoy a meal when you know you're being ripped off.

We ordered a variety of skewers and sides: - Smashed cucumber salad was refreshing and one of my favorites veggie dish - Lamb and Beef skewers were decent and tender - Special pork jowl had a good fatty texture and great flavor. - Grilled eggplant and scallops were decent as well. Some items were more hit-or-miss for me. The signature chicken wings came out dry & overcooked, and the chicken skin was super crispy almost like air-fried chips -- personally I prefer chicken skin freshly grilled with a softer texture. The beef tongue skewers were sliced too thin, and okra were dry. Service was understandable for how busy they were, but it could be hard to flag someone down during peak dinner time. Overall, I'd say the food quality was okay but not the best skewers I've had, especially at around $50 per person for our group. Still, it's a convenient and lively place for late-night skewer gatherings with friends if you're in the area.

The plate comes with three filet mignon skewers, each incredibly juicy, buttery, and tender--clearly cooked with care and quality ingredients. The combo also includes pita and two sides; I chose the hummus and yogurt cucumber, which added a nice balance of richness and freshness to the meal. Still, we fondly remembered their generous, delicious portions, so we placed an online order. The website didn't give a readiness time, but remembering that they used to prepare everything fresh and take their sweet time, I told my husband we should wait a bit before heading out. When I walked in, the employees were chatting and laughing, which was nice to see. Then I noticed a pile of takeout orders sitting on a shelf. Hungry as I was, I silently prayed none of them were ours; I utterly despise cold food. I gave my name to the cashier--who skipped the greeting entirely--and was told it wasn't ready yet. I said thanks and took a seat. While I was waiting, another customer asked about her order and was initially dismissed with a "no." After a second look, the cashier called her back: "Oh, this is yours. It's been ready." No apology, just a cold shoulder. The customer was understandably ticked off. The real plot twist, however, happened when I got home. Apparently, "two skewers" now translates to a grand total of five pieces of chicken. That is definitely not what it used to be. To make matters worse, my worst nightmare came true: the food was cold. Well, not the chicken, but the french fries and pita bread were stone-cold and stale. Lately, I've been going to Luna Grill down the street. They actually serve fresh, much tastier food--and at prices that don't feel like highway robbery.
