These folks have always treated me well, and in fact they've gone over and above that, and done an admirable extra effort to make sure I got whatever I needed at the time. I just came from a quick grocery run there, and came away thinking that folks like this are leading lives of quiet heroics just by running their business, in the middle of the worst winter storm we've had since December 1984, whilst the worst pandemic in over a century is rampaging everywhere. We do not like to drive 41 miles round trip for brusque service. In order to make sure they could…read moremake a car key BEFORE wasting time and gas driving down from Fair Oaks Ranch, my husband called them twice. The first time he called, my husband spoke to a guy who said they needed to see the key first to see if they could do it. Fair enough, but they could have looked the key up first on Google or something. My husband forgot to ask how much it would cost IF they could do it, so he called back. A woman took his call and was short with him, as if she didn't want to be bothered. She snapped, "Oh no - we can't do that!" My husband told her he just talked to a man who told him to bring it down. So then she said "Oh, okay. $2 or $3." When he arrived and handed them the key, she took one look at it and "No we can't do that!" She was very abrupt. We would have shopped a bit for other things, we got the clear impression that our business wasn't wanted. For anything. They were not busy at all. I can understand that they couldn't make the key, but a little more kindness and perhaps some initiative to find out exactly what kind of key we needed would have gone a long way. Since they make keys, and are no doubt familiar with modern fob type car keys, a little engagement of the gray matter would have saved everyone a big hassle.

While the local farm supply…read moreplaces and hardware stores when combined offer a better selection, TSC is a great place for tractors parts, feed, and much of your hardware and plumbing basics. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff has greatly impressed me.
