I'm that "crazy" person who thinks ice cream sounds good anytime, no matter the weather and no…read morematter the season. Even so, Cagliari was warm enough in October to stop by a local gelateria for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up. In the South, I was exposed to a lot of new to me flavors. I had no idea there is a flavor called "Puffo", which is literally blue-colored ice cream named after Smurfs in Italian! So funny and cute! I got a scoop of Puffo along with Zuppa di Inglese, a flavor I had tried once before. An interesting combo, but I thoroughly enjoyed it!
