After initial conversation about redoing some of the photos, we were fearful that our concerns were not being heard. Then Kaitlyn, the main photographer and editor, went above and beyond to deliver us a product that met our needs. Smoke n Lenses photography is superb both in style and composition. Kaitlyn explained that she was initially trained in real estate photography and after discussing our needs for Airbnb photography, she was able to flawlessly capture the space in a way that guests would be able to envision themselves staying their for the holidays with their family. This was not easy. Our cabin has ALOT of wood, more than a normal cabin. Getting the right lighting, both in pre and post production is difficult. I was amazed at her superb skill to do so. Kaitlyn and Garett are budding Airbnb photographers with lots of talent and over half a decade of professional photography experience. They care deeply for their business and service to their customers. Being a business owner is tough but rewarding work. It can be very difficult at times due to verbose jerks, like me, who write critical reviews. She received all the deliveries (flowers, catering, cake, decorations, rentals, photobooth, DJ equipment) and helped problem solve any issues, while I relaxed in the bridal suite! She knows a lot of vendors in the area, and was able to get us deals that we could not get on our own. She did all of the research and presented us with 2-3 options for each vendor that fit both our preferences and budget, so all of the stress was taken out of wedding planning. She also helps create a budget at the very beginning and helps you stick to that budget. She also creates very detailed timelines and makes sure the day of goes very smoothly. I had seen her content on Instagram and knew that her approach and personality would make the process incredibly approachable, comfortable, and professional. I was absolutely blown away by the process; we started with a phenomenal makeup session that elevated the photos perfectly! And Nina made the whole process so easy and comfortable!
