I was livid when I read a negative review that may legally fall in the bounds of Slander and Defamation. That illegal negative review compelled me to write my personal statement of Dr. Showalter.
I never write a review, however, I was stunned when I read a negative review of Dr. Showalter that was totally fraudulent and slanderous very deceptive without any evidence, reason or probable cause. Words spoken or written can damage the reputation, character or good name. A false accusation or a malicious misrepresentation is a legal definition of Defamation. A licensed professional could lose their license, livelihood, family and finances trying to defend against false accusations and still fall in the cracks of injustice, sad but true.
Dr. Showalter is very sensitive to the costs of medical care and strives to provide care that is not only effective but also affordable. Additionally, as demonstration of his commitment to his patients he often offers payment plans to fit their individual needs. Outstanding professional is at the heart of everything he does at his clinic. Billing, while by no means is his primary motivation, it's simply what allows to continue to serve his patients. Dr. Showalter and his staff often work with patients to find a solution that best fits their circumstances. They are more then happy to help, above and beyond to resolve any issues.
Dr. Showalter's primary concern and dedication is to his patient(s) health.
One thing that I saw about his practice is the cost of treatments are transparent, consistent, competitive and in compliance with state laws and medical ethics.
I also noticed the EMS(Electro Muscle Stimulation) pads are always, sanitized and disinfected immediately after use in compliance with state health laws and medical guidelines for patient safety.
My name is John a Vietnam Era Marine Veteran with service connected injuries with physical disabilities from Head to Toe literally. Right Toe, R Foot, R Knee, R Hip, Low Back, Midback, Neck & Head. All on the right side, one could say that "I'm all right".
In my opinion, I believe that I'm an authority on finding out who is good, bad or indifferent type of doctors or any other health care provider(s). Since I was honorably discharged coming back from overseas in 1972 to this day and have been relocated in 7 different states due to my occupation. I must of been seen and treated by hundreds of health care providers including VA clinics and hospitals. Instead of writing my experience with all of them, I will only write my reasons how I chose Dr. Showalter, a doctor of Chiropractic because of all my experience with all the previous health care providers.
If you're a patient or future patient of Dr. Showalter, you can confirm of what I'm going to state on how I chose him from about 30 other Chiropractors from Cleveland, TN to Chattanooga, TN., I did it so meticulously, research, investigative and actual face to face interviews with all of them, a process of 2 months.
I maybe the only one that you ever heard of doing this, I have very good reasons that I won't get into it.
None of them including the ones through out the years came even close to Dr. Showalter's qualifications over 20 years, education, experience, knowledge, post graduate education, teaching, instructing, lecturing, consulting, his memberships and community service. After reading his CV and the research, I made an appointment to have an interview with the doctor for me to decide if I wanted to be treated by Dr. Showalter.
I did go to his office on the appointment date, all other Chiropractors I interviewed were little nervous, their answer were nebulous, a worried look on their face, etc. they all failed and didn't qualify.
When Dr. Showalter walked in the room he was pleasant, calm and very transparent on everything.
It took about an hour, believe me, I questioned him on everything from A to Z, I almost felt I was interrogating him like in the Marine corps, he was cool, calm and confident.
Needless to say, I made an appointment for my treatments which had to be approved by the VA and they also had to make sure he's qualified and to be certified as a VA health care provider for Veterans. He does treat many Veterans that are referred by the VA.
I don't want to expound how the treatments improved my health, gait, spinal alignment, even headaches like never ever before, it would take 20 more pages.
Main reason I'm writing this, is that there are many unscrupulous health care providers that are greedy and defrauding the government and/or the Health Insurance and are not caught yet. Then there are some very honest, dedicated for the care and health of the patient and to be wrongfully accused is a sin and a devastation to a good human being.
