We stopped at the store , walked in and asked after standing in line at the cream line "Excuse me Sir, am I at the right space for the pass". He did not hear me so I asked again. The older lady rudely said be patient can't you see we are extremely busy. I rudely asked again, I'm only asking if I am at the right place. She cut me off and proceeded to repeat herself you need to be patient, do you expect to jump the line, she said I had a choice I could wait or leave. By this time I was embarrassed and was not going to allow her to talk to me in this manner. I said some remarks and stood my ground, proceeded to wait for her to make her ice cream sales (6 people) got my pass and she said thank you for your patience. I left but said out loud I only asked a question and I did not have a choice. Why pick up the pass at the store and not security? Why have a bitter sour person giving out the pass when clearly she had more interest selling ice cream? If the man had a hearing problem which she stated why did't she answer my question. I felt I walk in to an ice cream parlor not a store which is why I was asking.not a store. I hate this place and will not recommend to anyone. Customer service is a negative 1

Mike was our host, he was great, we talked, laughed, and he was not aggressive in any way. We ended up not signing up to be a member, because it is not a fit for us right now. If you already own a RV, it's probably worth looking into. Now for the negative.... We are told we would get a $50 gift card for visiting, we paid $40 for the visit.... We also were told we would get 2 nights a cabin with no blackout dates, however that was not true. We had to book between April and November. In closing, if you have a RV and travel slot, it's probably worthwhile, but if not, it's a bad marketing attempt!

Stayed here back in August for three nights. I've stayed here once before years ago and was hoping…read moreit would have gotten better. However I think it's gotten worse sadly. The place is on the no maintenance plan. It's literally falling apart and the owners have put no money into renovating this very old motel. They do offer a continental breakfast next to the office every morning that provides coffee. I'm used to staying at places that have in room coffee makers and coffee provided. Having to walk all the way to the office for my morning coffee was inconvenient. There are a lot of savory characters who seem to be living full time at this place which made me feel a bit uneasy. My room seemed to be clean but it's hard to tell. I saw the house keepers spraying multi purpose cleaner on the floor and then mopping it. Which seems an odd way to mop floors. Towels and washcloths are very thin. Bathroom fan had no cover, and neither did the light. Air conditioner looks to be about 50 years old. I would not waste your money and stay here. There aren't many good choices of budget hotels in Wapakoneta. Next time I'll spend the money and stay at Best Western or Holiday Inn.

There are several issues with the management of this alleged motel. Don't get me wrong, I love…read moreIndian foods and especially the spice curry. First, the entire second floor and probably the first, smells like curry. Like I said, I like curry, but not for fumigation purposes. Second, I was out until 3 AM. So at 8:30 AM the maids are pounding on my door. What the hell? This was unacceptable. Third: Since they awoke me at 0830 I went to take a shower. I turn on the shower and rotate the knob all the way to the right (blue) so I get hot water. I let it run for 10 minutes. All I got was lukewarm water. Unacceptable. Fourth. I went downstairs and talked to the owner/manager and it went like this: Me: I have no hot water owner: did you turn the know to the right? Me: I turned it to the right and ran water for 10 minutes. No hot water. owner: We have no problems with hot water. Me: There was no hot water. owner: We have hot water. We never have problem with hot water. Me: OK, whatever you say chief. Unacceptable Fifth: I had some friends come over the previous day and they had traveled a long way. They needed showers. When we asked for extra towels, the stupid owner got pissed and then tried to charge $10 for every extra towel. I think that since my friends came in on a tour bus, the owner thought they were rich and had money. Unacceptable. If this is what $50 gets you for a room, then spend $60 someplace else and get treated better.

The staff welcomed us as members of the IHG club, and we had checked in early via an email they had sent. While we did not make use of the free breakfast, it looked amazing. While there is always trepidation about staying in a chain hotel off the beaten path, this place is a gem.

This hotel is a lesson to not judge a book by its cover…read more It's a smaller hotel, maybe 4 stories. We stayed here for one night for a friend's wedding nearby. My boyfriend has the IHG credit card and because of that is a Platinum member, and we used his points to book a standard King room. I believe they upgraded us to a King room with a small kitcheonette and sitting space. Bed was very comfortable. The hotel is right next to the highway and you could hear cars, but it was more of a white noise. IHG has apparently been working on upgrading its hotels, and you can tell - the room had a Keurig and a few other amenities. The Dove body wash and toiletries were also really nice. I was most impressed by the hotel breakfast today - variety of hot items like sausage and room temp items like cereal etc. They had a make your own pancakes machine too, and a fridge full of yogurt, mini water bottles, milk and chocolate milk, etc. They also had to-go boxes, which I've never seen before at a hotel breakfast, presumably if you wanted to eat in your room or take it on the road with you. Only negative things I can say was that the bathtub was small (I prefer baths to showers) and you can definitely hear the highway noises at night, but it wasn't super loud.
