Passing Through the great state of Texas and as most know in smaller communities a solid wine selection can be hard to find. I too have had to deal with the BS of my son going with me into the store and they requesting his ID. I told them he does not need as ID as he is NOT purchasing anything, they said they didn't care and still required it. I said a few choice words and left the crap on the counter. They are rude and will not do business at that location, taylor, tx or any other twin liquor location. read more

We are having a home coming party for my adult son who has been on deployment for almost 5 years overseas. I went with my younger son to get supplies including liquor and food. We got to the counter and the clerk asked for my sons id. I asked why is he asking. The man replied "well who is he to you?" When I told him it's my son he started telling my son" to carry his id at all time. Never leave home without it. You always have to have your id." After about the fourth time I left my order on the counter and walked out. It is not only NOT requirement for a minor to carry and id it in fact is not even a law for anyone to have to present any id for liquor purchases in Texas. While establishments may have a house rule for the purchase of liquor, and understandably so since they can be held criminally liable for selling to a minor in this case was purchasing for a party as an adult. The bigger picture for me is that I do not need assistance raising and fyi ding my child on how to conduct or carry themselves in a legal or appropriate manner in any circumstances and I for sure do not need the clerk behind the counter where I shop instructing my child on anything whatsoever. This was merry unprofessional and inappropriate for us as well as very uncomfortable. Fortunately there are plenty of places to shop and provide a pleasant shopping experience for consumers in this market. read more

After my dismal experience at another local store I widened my search and found Twin Liquors. I didn't know it was a chain here but it is and as it turns out it is pretty well stocked. They order the Scotch by region and that is impressive to me. The staff have consistently been very nice and I've seen them help others for quite a long time with patience. We got into a nice conversation about KISS and that's a plus too. This specific location is now my go to for the area. read more

This store needs to expand. Almost knocked over stacked cases in the walkway. Can fit more that one person in the isle at a time. And the manager is using COVID to be even lazier than normal. He can't bag the items, he can't move the bottles from the other side of the partition to scan them. Dude, I'm buying 7 bottles for Long Island Iced Teas. Get rid of him and get a self check out and your business will do better. The other guy and lady are awesome, I just as soon go to the Chinese guy on second and pay more that go when the manager is at the register. read more

I love this place. The manager and all of the people that work there are always friendly and engaging. They regularly order a specific tequila for me even though they do not stock it on their shelves, thats customer service. I have been doing business there for years now and will continue as long as they continue to treat me the way that they always have. Not sure why it shows that I am from CA. read more

I am not much of a drinker so I was definitely looking like a dumb blonde going into this place when I was put in charge to set up a Bloody Mary bar at a friend's gathering. It is the only drink that I like so I guess my friends took me as a pro. Wrong in every way. So I go into this store, with a dazed and confused look as to all of the wonders of liquor before me, when a sweet lady comes and asks if she could help me. I was so grateful that she genuinely cared to help me instead of snickering at my situation. She pointed me to a few really nice vodkas that would suit my needs as well as wrote me a list of what to go buy next door at the grocery store. Needless to say, she made me shine at the gathering and no one was aware of my complete incompetence just hours earlier. This will certainly be my go-to place with any adult refreshment needs. read more
