Perfect spot on our road trip for a burger and shake. Tons of outside seating. Had our dog in the lawn area. Food service was quick considering there were 10 people in line the whole time we were there. Overall great place for a burger

I dunno how I I slept on this spot for so long buts it's officially on my radar . Twin pines is right off the exit after Cle elum, if you're headed eastbound from Seattle is the second exit. Great outdoor seating with cute, rustic by modern indoor ambiance. Food was amazing. Classic roadside diner grilled cheese on Texas toast hit the freaking spot. Not sure if they local source there meat but their burgers are phenomenal. The star of the show was the FRIES. Definitely not frozen, perfectly crisp, perfect amount of oil and seasoning. The staff there is nice, quick, and overall just seem really happy to be there. Parking lot, outdoor tables, indoor dining area, bathrooms and kitchen were all extremely clean to the eye. Will be back and will suggest to friends and family.. Thank you Twin Pines, will be back for one of those crewneck sweaters :)

Stopped by on a road trip and it was surprisingly busy with a long line around the afternoon. It took around 20 minutes to get our food after ordering. We were kind of hoping for something fast but appreciated the ample seating in the front and back. There was also a line for the bathroom just be aware of that! The burger and the price wasn't anything special, but it wasn't bad either. I think the fries and onion rings were pretty good and crispy though. The strawberry malt was good so I recommend trying some of their milkshakes or malts while you're here.

Gotta love the Towering Pines and the outside seating area in the summer, not so much on a windy March cloudy day. Here were few patrons this day. No delay in ordering and the staff explained the specials. We ordered the Double Cheese Burger, Impossible burger, fries, and Lavender milk shake. The shake was delicious, the burgers fresh, with what seemed like fresh (not frozen) hamburger and the fries crispy on the outside, soft on the inside (Just the way I like them)

We only found this through Yelp, or else we wouldn't have seen it. It's a pretty popular place from what we could see. The service was very friendly and went as quickly as they could. It took 20 minutes to get the food, but that was understandable considering how crowded it was. The burger was really good. The bread was very fresh. I'm picky about topping, so I didn't get much on it, but you can get several more toppings. The boat of fries was full, with more fries added to the bag. The fish was also very well seasoned, but it didn't come with any tartar sauce. My only complaint would be how they charge extra for all the sauces. They have a bunch of flavors of shakes to choose from. We got a black raspberry and peach shake. Both were thick and good. We lime how they come in Styrofoam cups. Overall, I really enjoyed it and would love to come back someday.

get pit stop off i90 with lots of what you'd expect from a place that serves probably more people in long distance transit than locals: malts, shakes, fries, onion rings, burgers, grilled cheese....ROAD TRIP food! i just got onion rings and a shake but tasted great and fueled me enough to get back over the pass to seattle.

We were debating whether to stop for a fast food meal, but VERY glad we decided to stop at Twin Pines instead for our burger fix! If you happen to be passing through the area, this is a great stop for a meal. Burgers were cooked to perfection, fries were hot and delicious, and we also enjoyed their milkshake. They have plenty of outdoor seating which allowed us to stop by with our dogs. What else could you ask for?

Had a work retreat in Chelan a couple weeks ago my friend and I swung in here on our way back to Seattle on a Friday afternoon. We didn't know what to expect. Definitely was worth the stop. I ordered Plain Burger w/Cheese and selected onions, mustard and lettuce as my three toppings. The onion rings and a banana peanut butter shake. I usually would just get a burger and rings or a burger and a shake. I would've split the rings with my friend but she wanted her own order. The two flavor shake cost extra but was worth it! Condiments for fries/onion rings are 50 cents a tub. I didn't get one but my friend got the fry sauce and enjoyed it. She had one of the special shake flavors which was a chai. You order at the window outside they call your number and you pick it up at the window just inside the door. Staff was friendly and patient as my friend likes to ask questions The burger was tasty and delicious. Onion rings had a hood coating and stayed on when eating them. The shakes were nice and think. Like I said I don't usually order all three but wasn't sure when I would be by here again. Definitely would stop by on my way to get pepperoni at Owens for sure.

Even though there were multiple options we considered, we thought stopping at Cle Elum will give us enough gap before we stop for lunch later in the day. One of the top choices we had was Sunset Cafe. It's located in the main street with a lot of parking spots on the roadside. We walked into a typical diner place with some great ambiance and interiors. They do have multiple dining areas and we got ourselves a booth. The interior decorations speaks a lot about the local and Washington history. They do offer omelettes, classic break fast options + Sunset specials. Their offerings are family recipes passed down through generations. We started with coffee. Ordered Got Blues from the specials, Greek scramble a stack of pancakes. There were a very few customers at the time - so I decided to walk around and explore. They do sell pies, brownies, cinnamon rolls. And they are popular as well. I have seen many walking into get those. They do have a bar and lounge as well. The food arrived relatively quick. It was a scrumptious breakfast for us. Kids had a great time enjoying the sweet treats as well. Got Blues was on point - delicious! The best among our pick! Service was top! The staffs were very friendly. We were helped by Nancy that day. She loves to talk about their food and the pies. Lovely personality! We did pick up pies on our way out as well. The food was great; service was amazing. We were down in Cle Elum on a meatscapade when we decided then we should grab some sweets. The kids definitely didn't object! This place is a small spot located on a corner in downtown Roslyn. Currently, they're only letting small groups of six or less inside, so you may have to wait outside for a bit. The folks inside got everybody through quickly. They have a moderate selection of some old-school candy, including some really old-school stuff that would get your grandparents excited! It also got some more modern, old stuff like big league chew. Nothing made you feel more alive than shredded I will come design to look like tobacco! A big selling point is the fact that they have Winegars ice cream as well as a number of other funky flavors. One of the kid got pop rocks ice cream, another rocky road, and another a delightful sorbet. They also have some pretty cool antique showcases that housed the candy. You definitely have to watch the kids as their favorite thing while we were there was to lean on the glass case from the 1890s. One of the best things we found were the handmade chocolates that they have that came in a number of different flavors. The rosemary with sea salt, three citrus and lavender were the favorites, no the other four or five options that they had looked very nice. It was pretty cool to be able to get high end chocolates as well as gummy candy in the shape of cheeseburgers from the same place. The prices were good and the selection with solid and fun. This is definitely a spot you should check out!
