These were okay. They arrived within 5 business days of ordering which was really fast and most of the lids were sealed. The free vanilla dough was pretty bland in my opinion and was pretty creamy and had a texture that was around the consistency of creamy peanut butter. The hazelnut dough was pretty flavorful once stirred with the Nutella and the brookie was also alright but it wasn't very sweet even with the cookie pieces in it. All the doughs had the same base basically with just different mix ins and you could definitely taste the protein in every batch (I don't mind the flavor though). However, I could taste a lot of the sugar alcohols and I just personally don't like that taste. These are a good replacement to protein bars but I'm a little skeptical of the macros since they are packed with toppings but supposedly only have less than 3 grams of sugar per serving. Overall, I thought these were okay and would give them a 6/10 but I wouldn't get them again as they just reminded me of protein bars but in a sauce form.

Seriously why have I not found them sooner?! I've been craving a healthy treat high in protein and their products satisfy all cravings. I eat it straight out of the jar and add it to my cream of wheat and oatmeal, or bake into a cookie! This company has great customer service, always taking care of their people like offering goodies and discounts. Literally just placed another order too!

Chocolate sample leaked all over the chocolate chip sample

I was looking forward to trying my sample pack when it arrived today. However when it arrived every jar had leaked creating a huge mess. I tried calling the phone number on the enclosed material (their site says 24 hour customer service) but it's not answered. Contrary to what the recorded message says, there is also no chat feature on the site. I'm glad I paid for the route protection so I was able to make a claim through them and have received a refund. This all said, had I really read the website and the tone of the information I would never have made this order. When your site has to demand that customers be nice and make demands about how you make a complaint for an issue that's a red flag that you're company is not nice to customers. One or two rude customers is one thing but if you get so many you have to talk about it over and over on your site, you're the problem. Add to that the poor quality reviews I'm now seeing and I'm almost glad that this is all going in the trash. I'm not risking eating a food product that has to be refrigerated (that is shipped without any cooling packs by the way) that was not sealed properly and leaked everywhere. Poor quality control and poor customer service means that you're one chance to make a first impression is a failure. Update: The business called me back approx 3 hours after I tried to reach their 24/7 customer service line and left a message. They did not leave a message, I had to look up the number for missed call to realize it was them that called.

I ordered on January 5th and my order has been in "preshipment" since. I emailed asking what was going on and got a snarky remark back. I emailed again saying to cancel my order and refund. If I do not get my refund, my next step is the BBB. Update: Finally got my order. 2 of the packages were leaking. I had to clean them off. I let them sit in the fridge for a couple hours and just took my first bite. 10/10 would NOT recommend. They taste just like protein bars. They were not appealing in looks as well.

The post office is the most outdated and inefficient way to ship anything!!!

I placed an order for a 5 pack and it arrive warm and wet, despite all product saying right on it that it requires refrigeration. The product is nothing like "dough" or "cookie dough", they will get defensive and say "well it's a protein dough", whatever that means. The texture is that of old glue - very goopey, pastey, stretchy and yet thin. It's texture alone is concerning. The "add ins" become a soggy mess because they are sitting in this gloopey mess. The taste is SO chemical and artificial in nature, again, it is concerning what exactly is used in the ingredients. I tried every flavor and they were all so awful tasting. I also had my family members try them to make sure it wasn't just me, and they all agreed. I contacted customer service asking for a refund, and that I was even willing to ship the product back but otherwise it was going to end up in the trash. Rather than an email back, the customer service rep insisted on calling me. During the call she first asked "Did you stir the product because that can affect the taste"; I told her yes I had. Then she claimed they were just getting ready to launch all new packaging and even product ingredients to "improve the taste and texture" and asked if she could send me new product to try. I agreed, and while the packaging for the new product is cuter, the product still arrived very warm, same awful texture, same terrible taste. When I reached out again to customer service asking again for a refund, I was told "We do not refund based on taste and of course we are not "cookie dough" we are protein cookie dough. We wanted to make sure you had our new formula for sure and we do appreciate you trying it but know our product is not for you." When I stated that this was highly dissapointing and that I have never experienced a company unwilling to refund a product that did not live up to expectations, she stated "We stand by our service and the product arrived how it is supposed to. But as this email was previously sent it now requires a phone call. I am happy to take a phone call and go over things with you but at this time per my protocol a phone call is required." I'm sorry what?? Because an email was sent previously "protocol" requires a phone call?? A phone call for what exactly? And what "protocol" are we following exactly that is never mentioned to the customer? I am quite confused and honestly taken back at this process this company has in place. I had already gone back and forth with them numerous times via email, text and phone calls. This process feels very put in place because this company gets a lot of unhappy customers, I know from doing heavy research already online. My experience is the same as many others as well. Warm product that has the texture of glue, with customer service unwilling to refund the product. A company that cannot stand by their product enough to offer a refund just shows how often this is happening and how little confidence they have in their own product. I am looking forward to continuing to spread and share my review and experience everywhere I can. I am clearly not the first, and this company will not survive functioning like this. Literally the WORST customer service experience, and the most suspicious and confusing experience, I have ever encountered. read more

Initially my first order arrived and we really enjoyed it! like anything else if a product is good, you order it again and refer your friends. Fast forward to our second order we endured inclement weather and our product arrived over a week and some days later hot and melted. The weather delay wasn't the issue and YES we read their FAQs on product detail ... it was the response to our concern about the product once we received it that was a deterrent moving forward with future orders. Again, being a small business owner myself where things can get overwhelming and customers can be hard to deal with I gave the benefit of the doubt placing another order. Here we are AGAIN with one of the products leaking through being hot and melted with no safety seal under the lid. I am not one to write a poor review, but humility and good customer rapport goes a long way with a little integrity to make it right. So, with all of this being said maybe a better approach with your delivery & tone , concerns for your customers ( even if you don't agree) may salvage some business. read more

My name is Rose, in 2015 I started my dream company. We started from a local women’s bootcamp and cooking for others. I created a meal prepping company that served clients across the nation. I had locations in two states, 70 employees, and was generating a million dollars a year in sales. I was living my dream of being an entrepreneur that aligned with my passion of fitness and health. Then in 2020, I went to bed living my dream and then woke up the next day to discover my CFO and business partner embezzled over $2M from my company and stole everything I had. Someone I trusted took everything from me and left me to pick up the pieces. Arrived 2 days later. I highly recommend them cold and not straight out of the shipping box on a warm day! Confetti cake- hints of vanilla with crunchy sprinkles. Strawberry cake- more like a cake batter taste of strawberry with notes of vanilla with crunchy sprinkles. Salted caramel- creamy vanilla caramel flavor a touch of salt to finish the taste Chocolate chip- thicker like cookie dough, whipped buttery sweet vanilla with chocolate chips to give it a bit more sweetness! Butter crunch- reminder me of a Butterfinger Without the chocolate coating. Peanut butter- just like pulling peanut butter cookie dough out of the fridge. That thick creamy sweetness.
