As far as food goes.... I was very much not impressed with my nachos, nor was my husband with his Ranch Wrap. Fun fact- I don't know how it is MEANT to be but there was no ranch in his wrap, only on the side. We both found our meals to be just okay. My folks, however, each got a Reuben. Given that they profess to really enjoy this place, I have to wonder if there's something to that.... It was good for a quick lunch. The portion sizes were big. I got the grilled chicken sandwich with fries. The fries are crispy and good. The chicken was dry but was better when I added bbq sauce. It was cold outside and we were sat near the door. We got a rush of cold air from the front and back doors whenever they opened. I think our server must've had friends there because she spent a lot of time with a specific group of people kind of hanging out. It was a little difficult to get her attention. This place is a great neighborhood bar... They are always friendly and the service is excellent. The tacos are better than the local mexican restaurant. The tenderloin sandwich is the size of your face and delicious. The only negative is the fries are always raw/. You can ask them to take your fries on a walk through the inferno of hell and they are still medium raw at best. Someone please explain to the grill people that nobody likes a limp potato. This place is a hidden gem. Bar food obviously but so very well done. Hubby had the tenderloin with tots and I had buffalo chicken sandwich with onion rings. All delicious. They obviously hand bread everything. The chicken was super crispy and really juicy inside. read more

I had a large group meet at Twisters, who came to see me, because I wanted to give the business to this grill and borrow. Why? Because all of the Chancy kids have been close with me as their youth minister many years ago. Christie, the owner, had been one of my one youth. Her husband,, Chris, is the president, So I came to see them. Chris was the youngest Chancey boy and he was the one who was able to win the heart of this beautiful young woman. Yeah that's what I always thought. How are you doing? I drove into the packed parking and only one handicapped space was open. My friend had a handicap tag and so we were golden. The place was jam-packed. No tables were opened but Chris's parents were sitting with a crowd waiting for me to arrive. The service was excellent. The food was very enjoyable. The ambience was festive. These young "kids" had put together a great bar-restaurant. I am so proud of them. I recommend this place to everybody but I'm sure you already know about it. People were not lying about the wait. It can be a bit chaotic at times, but somehow amidst all of the chaos is a wonderful place for drinks and food! The server was so kind and funny! Apparently our first visit was a fluke. On this visit the hot wings were tough and tasted sweet like honey. Not hot at all. I ate 4 of the dozen. I asked the server why they changed sauce. Her reply was that she noticed they were mild and not hot as I ordered. WTH? There was no offer to bring my order correctly. There was no offer to remove it from my bill. Finally I asked if she would remove it. After consulting the bartender they gave me half price. Unbelievable! Beef Tacos were pretty tasty. They had a nice crunch to them. The rice was commented on and the verdict was tasty. Did not personally taste it. Potato Skins were pretty bland. Ended up salting them and dipping them in Ranch Dressing. That helped a lot. Fried Pickles were dreamy. Pickle spears even. Very good. Grilled Buffalo sandwich was pretty much disgusting. Really thin chicken grilled and then drowned in straight up hot sauce... not basted prior to... or during the grill process... but dumped on right before it is served. Soaked through the bun and was an awful mess. Co-diner said tenderloin sandwich was good. Malibu Rum and Coke for 2 bucks... no complaints there.
