A group of 6 of us went and started with the chips and salsa that were really good and the queso was good too. I had the beef fajita nachos that were just okay for nachos as the beans needed a little more flavor and some of the meat was chewy. I did get to try the barbacoa which was really good and flavorful and the menudo came out lukewarm and needed a little more chili flavor. The breakfast tacos are great with the tortillas. The food at this Mexican restaurant is very good, but unfortunately the service has gone downhill. You seat yourself, then wait 10-15 minutes before anyone comes by to ask for drinks. After ordering, it often takes another 10 minutes just to receive them. Appetizers usually arrive at the same time as the main meal, which defeats the purpose of ordering them in the first place. The chips are hard and overly thick, making them difficult to enjoy. The queso is decent, but it contains large chunks of tomatoes and peppers that seem to take up more space than the queso itself. We've been coming here for over seven years, but ever since the two sisters--the owners' daughters--stopped working here, the service has steadily declined. If it weren't for how good the food is, we likely wouldn't keep coming back. What's frustrating is that there always seems to be plenty of staff on the floor, yet customers are still left waiting. Ironically, the bus staff cleans tables quickly as soon as they're empty--if only the waitstaff were just as quick to greet tables and check on guests. If management tightened up the front-of-house service, this place could easily be one of the top restaurants to recommend. As it stands, the food carries the experience, not the service. read more

I got a pretty basic meal from their lunch menu (cheese enchiladas with rice and beans) and it was just okay. Beans were bland, rice was decent and cheese inside the enchiladas wasn't melted. Walking into the place it feels homey. It could possible accommodate a decent group of people at a time. Starting off they give you chips and salsa. The salsas were really good. The chips looked homemade, they were good but they were thick so if you're not a fan of that then you might not like that. I orders the flautas plate, my husband ordered the chicken enchiladas plate and my son ordered the burrito plate. My flautas came with 4 flautas, beans and rice. I enjoyed it 8/10. My husband said that his enchiladas were good. He gave it like a 8/10. The burrito was ok. We ordered the fajita meat with it but I would said it was okaaayyy. The meat was kinda on the tough side and it tasted a little over seasoning for our liking 6/10 for that. I would say that the burrito was MASSIVE though. It could easily be split between two people. Disappointing Experience at Two Amigos Taqueria We stopped in for breakfast around 8:45 a.m. on Sunday, and the experience was disappointing. My husband ordered the chorizo and egg plate, and I had the menudo. The food was decent but lacked flavor, and the usual oregano and spice mix that accompany menudo weren't provided -- we had to ask for them. Service was the biggest issue. The restaurant wasn't busy (about six tables when we arrived), yet basic service was a struggle. We were both served only half cups of coffee and received one refill each after tracking down our server. My request for water was ignored. A sign on the menu said "no chips until 11 a.m.," yet everyone around us had them -- we only received chips at the end of our meal after noticing and asking. We also had to ask four separate times -- between two servers -- for two extra flour tortillas before finally getting them, with no apology or acknowledgment. The waitress never checked in on us once. The chairs were uncomfortable, and with several staff members visible, there was really no excuse for such inattentive service. Food: 3/5 Service: 1/5 Atmosphere: 2/5 Overall, the food was just okay, but the lack of attention and inconsistent service made this a one-and-done visit for us. read more

I've eaten here twice and both times I got the carne asada burrito. The burrito is amazing, probably one of the best I've had. The tortilla is homemade and has a ton of flavors. Love it. So we had the opportunity to dine in at Two Amigos Taqueria and I have to say, this place makes some really great food here. Every taco we ordered were spot on. The barbacoa taco, was excellent, not greasy, not fat, just perfect and of course my go-to breakfast taco, bean and chorizo was also great. The two salsas are on point as well. For me, the red salsa is a chip salsa and it is good and the salsa verde, is for my tacos. They just marry well together, your welcome! ;) The service was great as well. We will be back! read more

This is such a cute place. I came to pick up some breakfast tacos for my husband and his coworkers and a little horchata for myself :) The prices look par for the course and the service is friendly. The only downside is parking is a little hard to find. I took a chance and parked across the street, but I think that parking is for the condos. I ordered queso and the waitress told me I could not have any chips for the queso until after 11 or it would be an additional $4 charge on top of the $6 for the cup of queso. I was very confused by this and I asked her did chips not come with queso? She spoke to me like I was stupid and told me they don't just give out chips before 11am. Can't find many spots with $2 breakfast tacos these days, AND they're authentic at that! We got the migas taco (personal favorite), the barbacoa (insanely great but also stupid good so worth it) and a classic bacon egg and cheese (not a fan of the chopped bacon versus long pieces but was still good). Unsure if the tortillas are homemade but they sure seemed like it! Did a pick up call in order and was a fast process when I got there. The worker assisting me was very friendly.
