Next thing I know we and contracted FOOD POISONING that night around 8:00 PM. First I notice my stomach bloating really badly and of course diarrhea and vomiting. I couldn't sleep well that night from being sick. Next morning my niece calls and ask, "hey are you sick"? I'm like heck yeah we BOTH had the same symptoms. I call Pancho Taco Mexican Restaurant and the so called manager didn't apologize for one, nor did he want to rectify the issue. He literally said, "What do you want me to do"? I said excuse me?? Because I'm lost, how are you going to rectify this? "He says he's not"! I said what sir, we come here quite often since being here this past year, karaoke, lunch, dinner dates, my niece comes for margaritas with her siblings and friends and you don't want to at least refund me and my niece's cost of dinner (not knowing at the time my daughter was sick that night also and my five year old niece) since we ate the same thing and live separately and NEITHER ONE OF US ATE ANYTHING EARLIER THAT DAY... He told me no and never!! I'm like sir I paid $80 and I'm not asking for anything but our portions. He continues to say no!! Next myself, my niece and her daughter goes to urgent care and ALL THREE OF OUR STOMACHS WERE RUMBLING the doctor said and gave us Zoltan and said we had to let it run its course. It's so crazy we have a place that got us all sick and I'm getting backlash over $30 or so bucks and he's claiming the chicken and steak was cut differently and there's no way. I'm like sir my daughter is sick and she doesn't even eat meat, and there is a such thing of cross contamination. But it's okay I'll just call the Mansfield Ontario Richland County Health Department and contact the Usda Food Safety And Inspection Service

I hopped on Yelp, saw Oak Park Tavern was open, and said, "Hey, let's give it a try." Thank goodness we did! We were greeted warmly by both the staff and customers who were enjoying a late-night ballgame. We arrived well after the dinner rush--easily four hours later--and only about 50 minutes before closing. Despite that, the atmosphere was welcoming, the service was outstanding, and we never felt rushed. The walls were adorned with hand-drawn battlefield crosses and messages honoring the fallen and supporting our service members. As someone who deeply appreciates that commitment, it resonated with me. I struck up a conversation with the bartender and learned that his son is a Marine. His pride in supporting veterans and active-duty service members was evident and appreciated. Sarah, our waitress, was friendly, kind, and attentive despite the late hour. She smiled, laughed with us, and made us feel right at home. Now, the food! The lobster dish was fantastic--perfectly seasoned and served with a delicious sauce. The seafood entrée I ordered was outstanding, and the wedge salad was absolutely top-tier. I love a good wedge salad, and this one exceeded expectations. My wife, Juliann, loved her New York Strip, which was tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The cocktails were excellent as well. Thank you all for an amazing visit. Though the table and chairs and other ambience, I'm not changed, we thought that this meal was particularly better than others that we've had in the past. We opened with adult beverages. I must say it was the best Manhattan I've ever had there at Oak Park Tavern! Nobody was complaining about their beverages either. After ordering our adult beverages, we ordered their combination appetizer. It is a collection of fried appetizer items, consisting of mushrooms, mozzarella, sauerkraut balls, pickles, and onion rings. I ordered their sirloin steak with blue cheese on top with their vegetable medley and a side of sautéed mushrooms. Mom ordered a fish that was stuffed with crab, our friend ordered a steak and shrimp, while my wife went for their chicken tenders. After a reasonable amount of time, all of our dishes came out. I must say I was fairly impressed with their steak, and particularly the vegetable medley that came with it. Our salads were great as well. I do enjoy the spinach salad with one bacon dressing. All in all pretty good visit. Well done!
