Hands down Two Guys makes the best pizza in town! They make their dough from scratch and it's delicious. Our standard order is a large three topping with pepperoni, real Italian sausage and onions. You've got to try onions as that touch of sweet helps with all the savory flavors. We always include a side salad with their homemade blue cheese dressing for a small charge $2.55! You've can also purchase their homemade salad dressings by the pint or quart. The pizza takes a minute to get made so the salad calms our appetite. I swear it's cheaper to get a glass of their house wine than to get a glass of tea so don't hesitate to order. This place is a definite bargain on many items. Now the pizza is just spectacular. The Italian sausage is the real thing that has been sliced from the links not the sausage "turds" you get with fast food pizza. The crust is perfectly yeasty and the thickness on the medium side. They also serve on a rack at the table to keep the crust fresh. Since we order a large it is a knife and fork pizza with the heavy cheese and toppings. Another favorite dish is their lasagna. I've lost count how many times I've ordered at the restaurant and to go. It comes with a choice of salad or minestrone soup. The soup is homemade and simply the best warming dish - a hug in a bowl loaded with veggies. Service is always friendly. The murals of Italian scenes and the wine bottles hanging from the ceiling add a fun touch. Just don't forget to try the pizza and you won't have regrets. I really wanted to like this place, but honestly I just couldn't. The moment you walk in there's this strong unpleasant smell, probably from the carpet, that makes the whole atmosphere a little uncomfortable right away. They keep bringing bread nonstop, which at first sounds like a nice touch but it ends up feeling excessive, like they're just trying to fill you up before the meal. And the bread wasn't even fresh, it tasted reheated and dry. Then came the salad. It was tiny and drowned in dressing, I couldn't even finish it. Every dish felt very ordinary, like huge portions made just to stuff you, not to impress you. The presentation was nonexistent, the pasta was overcooked and swimming in sauce, and the flavors were completely off. The only positive thing I can say is that the prices are low, no dish goes over $17, but honestly it shows. Cheap food, cheap quality. You definitely get what you pay for here. Service was fine, nothing to complain about but not memorable either. And the tiramisu was completely frozen. It was clearly store-bought, not homemade, and that just summed up the whole experience for me: no care, no effort. Unfortunately I didn't like a single thing about this place. The parking lot at Two Guys From Italy had limited parking. Go early. When you walk in, there is so much to see from the paintings on the walls to the grapes and wine bottles hanging off the entire restaurant ceiling. Our hostess saw the 2 of us and offered a small corner table for 2 (see pictures). It is semi secluded on a platform. We laughed and asked for a bigger table. Every table gets a basket of cheese bread. It's dense and will fill you up. Each entree includes either soup or salad. The Caesar salad was so good! The Tilapia was cooked in olive oil and crispy garlic. Delicious! The Marsala Chicken was so tender and tasty. You can really taste the Marsala wine! The menu is vast, I ended up getting frutti De mare which is something I like that's light being seafood no heavy sauces but when it came out the portion was huge. This is so embarrassing. I was here 3 years ago, started a review but never finished it. I enjoyed my culinary experience so much the 1st time that I have returned and will definitely finish my review. I remember the Minestrone soup being excellent so I ordered and enjoyed that whilst waiting for my main entree, the Seafood Alfredo, sautéed shrimp, scallops, and crabmeat in a cream sauce, served over Angel Hair pasta, which was absolutely delightful. There is a full bar so I ordered an Old Fashioned that I wasn't too thrilled with so I'll just order a bottle of wine next time to pair with my meal, and also for digestive purposes. I ate here at the beginning of October on a Sunday. I was there with a large party of maybe 10 people. After I ordered my drink (water) the waiter took another 30 to 45 minutes just to take our order. Now, to be fair there was another large party in the same section. Who puts two large parties in the same section? Their hostess obviously has some problems. The other large party had two screaming babies as well. WTF All of the other servers were rolling silverware, and it did not appear that any of them offered to help our waiter. I was not able to sit in their uncomfortable metal frame chairs with very little cushioning, and after a while, I had to get up and walk around because my ass was falling asleep. I ordered the chicken cacciatore, which was unlike any other chicken cacciatore I've ever had before. This was a chicken breast covered with a sauce with a melange of vegetables including bell peppers and mushrooms. It was OK, but not what I was expecting. I would not order it again. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a true family-friendly feel, but I also noticed quite a few people on date nights. It's the kind of place that works for both casual dinners and special occasions. The menu is huge, with a great selection of classic Italian dishes. I ordered a seafood pasta, and I was impressed by how much seafood they packed in--great value for the price! Speaking of which, the food is very reasonably priced, and the wine selection too. Ingredients of an Italian salad should include:a crunchy base of romaine or iceberg lettuce, mixed with savory antipasto ingredients like salami, provolone cheese, olives, and pepperoncini's. The bread that came with it is nothing more than clumps of bread. I would think there should be a hint of garlic and butter.
