Worst maid service I've ever used. The two women who came were very friendly, but saying they did the "bare minimum" is putting it kindly. They didn't even empty any of the trash, and it seems they just spent most of the time chatting. They only cleaned very clearly visible areas (leaving dust and grit behind my curtains and on my stairs) and tidied up nothing. There were rooms they didn't even bother to clean at all. They did manage to drop their heavy broom handle on my wooden floors repeatedly and put a collar they found on my cat which made him miserable. Please avoid this company. This was a waste of $300. Two Maids were my saviors! I hired them to clean a rental that was left in terrible condition, and I didn't know where to start. The manager, Jayme, was so helpful and assured me that they could handle the task. The team they sent went above and beyond and cleaned so thoroughly that it made me see that the repairs I thought I would need to make weren't as bad as originally thought. Unfortunately I was not satisfied. Immediately after they left I called the manager to ask if they were supposed to mop. He sent them back out. While they returned for the second time in the same day ... They also had to re-clean a bathroom as it looked unswept. They left crumbs on the dining room table and whatever they wiped it with was sticky. I'm assuming they just didn't know what to use. They didn't wash dishes. Nor did they vacuum the guest room very well. I reported this to the manager and someone who called asking for payment. No one seemed to care that I was disappointed in the service. read more

I'm happy to see positive reviews unfortunately I had a very different experience. The first designated Appoint time one of the employees had a family emergency so they weren't able to make it. The company did not call us to let us know they wouldn't be here, we had to call them to find out why they weren't coming. Other than not calling us, this instance is completely understandable and doesn't impact my review. The second time they were not here at the designated time. The two ladies were both very pleasant and had great attitudes. I was disappointed in the lack of thoroughness especially in the restrooms. There were many things not cleaned such as the shower, behind commodes along with typical restroom equipment. The rest of the house was average. We'd planned to use them on a regular basis. We'd left a key for them to keep to make servicing our home easier. When I got home the key was gone but nothing had been done inside. The maids told the owners they'd cleaned when in fact they had done nothing. This all adds up to a poor experience with Two Maids & A Mop. I would be remised if I didn't say the owners did try to rectify the poor issues we'd experienced. However, the damage was done and we have chosen to explore other options. Surprisingly expensive for the area, and the actual service was sub-par. I used the company over a period of about 6 months pre-Covid. The quality was great at first (though not always the most reliable on timing), but then service declined steadily, I never saw the same two maids once, and I eventually cancelled. I provided them with feedback, but it was ignored. By the end, two ladies would spend about 40min for a $160 job. It was bad enough I should have requested a partial refund for my last two cleanings (great example - their vacuum broke half way through, so they simply left). read more

The first couple cleanings were great, but things slowly began to decline. I receive cleanings biweekly. My jute rugs are not vacuumed. Accessible areas under raised furniture are not cleaned. The hardwood is dusted, but not mopped. The kitchen floor is not mopped. The stainless steel appliances were wiped, but streaks left behind. Blinds and glass storm doors were cleaned at initial cleanings, but forgotten at the last few cleanings. Baseboards began to show dust and cobwebs. read more

The money I spend on cleaners is probably the smartest money I spend. My husband and I no longer bicker over chores, and I don't feel like every time my baby takes a nap, I ought to be scrubbing something. For a reasonable rate, two or three ladies come twice a month and do a good surface clean. Deeper cleaning is available, but I tend to do those projects myself. We have used this service for over four years. They are always professional. Our house is always clean when they come to clean. We have the ladies come every other week. While they didn't come as soon as I hoped, and I was in a terrible rush and only booked the day before, these two women were professional, hard working and dedicated to getting the job done. After the maids finished, I did a cursory view of the rooms and honestly, I was satisfied; however, after they left, I noticed at least five areas that were not cleaned or not cleaned well. The ladies were very nice and pleasant, but one was fairly new. What I feel could have prevented any problems, was the use of a checklist to make sure they clean all required areas and also show the homeowners what they were required to clean. What I saw was the maids going through the rooms doing what they thought needed to be done. Also, I think the requirement of a final walkthrough of all areas, with the homeowner, would have given them the opportunity to correct any problems on the spot. Lastly, when you call about the services, you are given a run down over the phone, but there is nothing provided in writing. I thought that by paying for the maximum service that surely cleaning the oven would be covered as I was told they would be there all day until the work was done, only to be told that they did not clean the inside of the oven. One of the maids did say she would at least wipe it out. When the maids left, I honestly felt that I would be giving them the top rating. Had a walk through of the rooms been done, and the discrepancies corrected, they would have received five stars! read more

The FIRST deep clean that I purchased was an absolute WOW factor! It was well worth the money. Three ladies came. A supervisor came to check before they left and had the ladies do things that she saw they missed. The in between cleaning were good but not great. Hit and miss - I get it depends on who you get. So I asked for a deep clean this past week. It was horrible! I left husband home (he is always here when someone is in our home doing any type of service) - his first text - they only sent two for the deep clean this time. My biggest thing that I ask for is to dust. I have allergies and this is the one area of cleaning that gets to me so I prefer to pay some one to do it. I keep my house clean other than the big, deep clean dust job. Second text - we had two items broke. Okay, junk it - I probably didn't need it any way if it got in the way to a big dusting. Four hours at $385, I still expected a deep clean. First deep clean - 6 hours at $325. No supervisor followed up to check deep clean. I get home - I walked through my house - did they clean? I always dust several areas leaving a few streaks in various places to see how well they clean. Much to my surprise, the streaks were still in the areas that I left. This morning alone - I have cleaned my streaked up kitchen for an hour. Since I work about 60 hours a week - I have decided - no more Two Maids and a Mop. I will continue to clean my own dust or will look for another company who knows what a deep clean aka dusting means. I see other reviews and I go wow again - apparently, I didn't get the same ladies they had. Very disappointed with service. read more

I have been using Two Maids and a Mop Montgomery AL every two weeks for approximately a month to 6 weeks. The first cleaning was good. Last time the cleaning was extremely poor. Whoever cleaned my antique mirror in my dining room left it full of streaky smears. The same with the large mirror in the master bath. There were several long black hairs left on the floor in my guest bath and no one who lives here has long black hair. The wall in the master bath behind my makeup mirror was damaged; I assume by holding the mirror against the wall to clean it. The 2 sinks in the master bath had dirty water rings left around them. The floors were still dirty after "mopping". Each time they came before today I was called the day before and told they would arrive in my home between 8 and 9. They never arrived at that time. Last time they cleaned they arrived at 10:17 and left at 11:18. Yesterday when I was called I was told they would be here between 8:30 and 9:30. At 10:30 I called the office because I had neither seen or heard from them. I canceled the service at that time because they were still at least 30 minutes from my home. I strongly do NOT recommend Two Maids and A Mop Montgomery AL. read more
