She is extremely thorough and very professional. Desiree is delightful to work with! Moving day: These guys are awesome! Youssef, Omar, and Joe arrived right on time. They did a fantastic job of taking apart modular office desks, moving between rooms and reassembling them the way we wanted. When we changed our mind about the placement of two large desks, they immediately went to work disassembling and reassembling them to our liking. They made sure they were super careful with everything. The large filing cabinets and long desk that were moved to a very narrow storage-type room went in without a scratch! I am amazed at how smooth everything went and in such a short amount of time! I highly recommend Two Men and a Truck and will certainly use them again for my next move! read more

They were great! My quote came through fast and accurate, my communication after that with them - I had additional questions were answered clearly and pleasantly. When moving day came I was contacted 30 minutes before arrival. The gentlemen were professional, polite, friendly, FAST, competent, and managed to get some large pieces around corners and downstairs without having to dismantle them! Delivery was as good. I have nothing but the best to say about them, they made a stressful day much easier to handle. BTW I used the same company 24 years ago to move me into the house I just sold. read more

The movers that helped me, Stan and Quan, were absolutely incredible. They were kind and so considerate of my new space and property. I have white area rugs and they went as far as taking their shoes off when stepping on the rugs to set my bed up! A++ experience. I would highly recommend! read more

The WORST moving company ever!!! First their moving fee is $129, way above standard from other moving companies. Then, they lost two items and the movers are claiming they never even moved those items. Now they're unable to compensate for lost items. Please don't go with these guys! Horrible business read more

I recently booked my second move with TM (and I booked them for my mom's move several years ago as well) because I was pleased with their prior service. I mean, moving is never fun, something always gets broken, movers are late, yadda yadda but they were always fast and professional. This time however was not a great experience. They charge $159 flat fee plus $159 an hour. I knew I was paying more than quoted by other movers but, again, I was going with my past experiences. I was told they would wear masks while moving. They showed up at my door without them and I asked them to put them on. While they were polite about it, i could tell they weren't happy and it took them a while to find them so I know they aren't wearing them regularly. The 3 men were polite, funny, and did a great job wrapping and moving my items to the truck. However when it came to unloading they ditched the masks, and many of my boxes were delivered upside down. I have a lot of art supplies and sewing machines and my main sewing machine was upside down despite the top being clearly marked. But my main issue is with a wood convertable loveseat that they damaged. They wrapped it up well but they clearly rammed it into something and popped the top of the corner off. This piece houses the metal rod that swings up and out to convert this into a sleeper and now that mechanism is compromised. There's no way when they unwrapped the sofa that they didn't know they had broken it. When I saw the broken piece, it had been placed back in its spot but fell off when I reached down to touch what looked like a scratch. So I contacted the company and made a report. A few days later a man called and said "hi, I'm Greg (I think that was his name), I'm coming over to fix your sofa and I need your address.". I hadn't spoken to anyone from TM since I made the report. No one discussed with me any options. I hadn't been told anyone was going to contact me and I wasn't giving a 3rd party vendor my info without talking to TM first. So, some phone calls and email later, another person from TM calls and explains that the vendor is really great at fixing things like this and let's just give it a try. Ok. So immediately a DIFFERENT vendor gets in touch. We have convos back and forth. I texted him photos, he says he can fix it but it'll need pins and glue because of the nature of the piece. Ok. He says I'll fit you in Monday or Tuesday. Ok. Never heard from him. Weds I get another call from the company saying they're offering me $150 because there's a $250 deductible and that's the max they can do. I say I thought someone was going to fix it? I'm then told the vendor said it can't be fixed. ?? Ok. And then I'm told I "didn't seem open to having it fixed". Not true at all. I was happy to let them try. It seems there was a lot of confusion about conversations and the people at TM weren't communicating on this. So in frustration I said "just send me the check". In hindsight it seems very clear the fix was going to cost more than they wanted to pay. I should have insisted or held out for the total cost to replace the sofa because it's unsafe to use it for the reason I got it to begin with. NEVER. AGAIN. Lost a customer. This is an update to my previous review. Two men and a truck responded claiming that they had contacted my parents to resolve the issue when I just talked to my parents and they have not. All they did was give my parents a number to call if they weren't satisfied, but no one answered or has called them back. So two men a truck did not honor their quote, did not move all my parent's stuff, and lied on here claiming they are trying to resolve the issue when in reality they have refused to contact my parents. read more

We used 2 Men & A Truck franchise Plano/McKinney/Carrollton/Garland for both a temporary and a permanent move earlier this year. The Regional Relocation Consult was friendly and reliable. The movers themselves were on time and efficient. The problems we experienced were post move with the franchise general manager. It took nearly four months to resolve our moving damage claim. It's still not to our satisfaction but we have used enough time and energy on this and are done. Damage included them breaking some irreplaceable items. This is a franchise therefore the store general manager is your highest level of contact as the corp. office has no authority to help you, speaking from our experience. The store manager of this franchise may or may not respond, is contradictory as to resolution steps, a poor communicator, and it is a long and painful process to issue resolution. We do not recommend 2 Men & A Truck and will never use them again. read more

I had a scheduled move and these guys no called no showed on me - and this was after I had called that morning to confirm the appointment. I ended up renting my own Uhaul late that day and moving myself with the help of some friends. Everyone was floored that these guys dropped the ball so hard. In a town with a hundred different movers, all I can say is to avoid these guys like the plague and go with someone who can actually communicate like a professional. read more

Called them in an emergency since my initial moving company canceled on me the day of the move! They were happy to schedule unfortunately, the moving team showed up 8 hours late and NOT a single call or return call (5 messages left) from management all day!!! Movers actually were very professional, hard workers, careful with furniture and moving. Zero complaints about the movers! Management team is inept and ill-suited. read more

poor poor service! the screws to my brand new queen sized bed were lost and i have been sleeping on the couch for 2 nights! corey told me he would be back at 830 am this morning...instead he is a no show and isn't answering my calls!!!! his manager was zero help!!!! i would not reccommend this company to anyone!!!! you are better off moving yourself!!!!! they charged me 670.00 and had the nerve to ask for a tip!!! horrible horrible service!!! run run run!!!!! read more

My move experienced a number of issues. First, after initially scheduling the move to coincide with our closing on a new home, I contacted the customer service rep about two weeks prior to the originally scheduled move date and indicated the date we had scheduled would not work as the seller of the home we had purchased would not likely vacate the home prior to that date. For some unknown reason, the rep replied and indicated she would leave me on the schedule. On the morning of the originally scheduled move, I received a call from the mover indicating they were on their way. I told them we were not expecting them and told them not to come. Once I had received visibility on the actual exit date of the sellers, I called and rescheduled the move, against my better judgment. During the move, one of the movers broke my son's desk, purchased for less than $100. When advised they would repair and return the desk, I thanked them and indicated it was not a big deal due to the desk's purchase price, but did want the possessions in the desk. After one week passed and there was no communication, I followed up and learned the company took the liberty to throw away the entire desk and its contents, including certain property of the US military. Also on the day of the move, the refrigerator door handles were removed to avoid breaking, but the mover had great difficulty in replacing the door handles at the new home. We have been waiting for over one week for satisfaction of this issue, with no end in sight. Overall, communication was terrible and follow up was abysmal. After this experience, I advocate the company change their name to Two Men Who Really Suck! read more

Crew showed up not wearing face masks & never put masks on. The crew had a negative attitude, extremely rude customer service and made me feel very uncomfortable. I've moved several times and this is the worst experience I've encountered. There have been larger moving trucks & trailers on my street, but they claimed they couldn't park adequately. Showed up with a I don't want to work attitude. The general manager called and he was also very unprofessional, he didn't seem to care or listen to anything i stated. The moving crew wouldn't speak, they ignored me & had to communicate via the general manager on phone. They decided to pull out of the move that morning on moving day, just left. I would never use or refer this company to anyone. Ending up turning out for the best because I had a bad feeling from the moment they arrived.. Luckily I was able to get my move scheduled for the following day with a reputable company I've used before. read more

Today was a day from HELL! My sister made reservation with this location 2 weeks ago. Today was her day to move. The movers did not show up at the time my sister received. We waited a few minutes and no call from anyone. My sister called and spoke with the manager and he quoted "I can't find anyone for you. Let me see if I can contact them." We waited 15 minutes and didn't hear back. I called him and he said I still haven't found anyone. I said I had an appointment at 1:00.He said that is not a set time. We have an open window from 1-4. He said let me keep trying to find someone. It was 2:30 and still I haven't heard from the manager. I called back again and he said give me time to find someone. I finally gave up. My sister and two other siblings had to do the moving for my sister. Remember she set the reservation 2 weeks in advance. Do not use this company again! read more
