We had their service off and on for just over a year. They would have some days when they did a…read moregreat job and other days when they didn't. There were many times that they would rush through cleaning. They wouldn't clean things thoroughly and put supplies back where they belong. The real kicker comes in when they broke items in our house on 4 different occasions! I was willing to not fuss when they knocked 2 pictures off the wall and broke each frame without telling us, but it didn't stop there! The third time came when they completely pulled the string out of my light fixture near the laundry room. Again, tried to cover it up and not say anything! I should have fired them then after they broke things on 3 different cleanings, but I didn't! The final straw came when they broke the tray spinner mechanism in my microwave! My chrome Samsung overhead microwave with exhaust fan, that is less than 1 year old, does not work properly. Nothing is worse then paying someone over a $100 each time they come and have them break things in your house. What happens when you lose your patience and let Maggie, the owner, know that all this has happened? She tells you she'll look into this and then never calls you back, or answer your calls! Who does that? Unprofessional business owners! My advice is to NOT HIRE Maggie Maids to clean your house!!! They will be inconsistent with their cleaning, break items in your house, and run from you when you tell them. Hope this helps!

I made the mistake of using an informal service that I found online. Although the "other" cleaners worked hard, they were not thorough nor did they have initiative, follow directions well, nor did they communicate well but I went with them because they were cheap. That was a mistake. After a disappointing deep clean by the other company, I asked Molly Maid of Southwest Cook County to come out. Although more expensive, the service is well worth the cost. In October 2020, Daysie and Maria came, on time, and thoroughly deep cleaned my home hitting all of the details without me having to point them out. Everything was clean and spotless after they were done. I did not even know my stove could be that clean. I carefully went around with a critical eye when they were finished, concerned that I would find missed items as I did with the original service I used and there were none to be found. Their supervisor also went through the house, checking door jams, countertops, showers, everything, to ensure that my home was truly clean. She did find an item or two and had them take care of them. I cannot express the joy and peace of mind that they brought me and my partner. Also of note, they are great communicators. Becca, in the office, followed up to check on my experience. She is available by phone and email. They text reminders. (Although being able to text them back would be a nice addition, I will not fault them for lack of it.) If you are considering using them, they are flexible - they can exclude rooms if you are trying to get the price down. They accept check or credit cards (for small fee). They work with your schedule (my partner works overnight and goes to bed at 11AM. They were able to schedule ongoing cleanings earlier in the morning so it would be done by the time he is home and wanting to go to bed.) I highly recommend them and look forward to continued use of their service!

We only requested deep cleaning and clearly stated that we wanted our home to be deep cleaned. We were never informed how many hours they would clean, nor were we told about their cleaning process. After exactly 3 hours, the cleaner left the house the moment the time was up, leaving behind a home that was still clearly dirty, as shown in the photos. When we gave feedback, they offered a $30 refund, which is honestly insulting. This service was a complete regret. Stay away from this company. A completely waste of money. I will also be filing a full dispute with my credit card company.
