I had two sushi rolls and 2 for 1 beers. I had not been in awhile and everything was great. I live close by and definitely will be back.

I was craving sushi, and Two Ten Jack did not disappoint. They don't have a sushi chef right now, so there are no rolls on the menu but everything we got was fresh, delicious and hit the spot. Crispy Rice with Spicy tuna 4/5...not the best I have ever had, the rice could be a little more done but it was very tasty. Not too spicy (which can be a problem for me), I would suggest 4 pieces though (not 3) when you have two people ordering. Wagyu gyoza- 5/5 loved this, very flavorful. Yellowtail Jalapeño- 5/5 fresh and delightful Walu Ngiri- 10/10- ordered another because it was so good Sushi bowl- with salmon and big eye tuna...like a make your own sushi roll...I would skip this next time even though it was good and just order the fish ngiri style Drink - I got the yuzu sour and it was light and refreshing, could have had a few more! Still surprises me when we have fresh, delicious fish here in Nashville! Hey I love Two Ten Jack. However, I'm giving them 3 stars.I had dinner there this evening and the HVAC was not working. Food was terrific, service was terrific, temperature was unbearable. This about the third time I've experienced hvac being down and it seems like an ongoing issue. I'll give them one more chance, but next time the hvac is down, I'm out and I'm done with them. It will make me sad, but at least I won't melt. read more

Owner have a lot of plant so overall is fun and chill. The service is good Dish: Appetizer: I got spicy tuna+sticky rice. This one is pretty good. The grind tuna are cold and spicy balanced. The sticky rice underneath is right after deep frying. It is super hot and crispy. So you really can feel hot melt cold（trigger fat part taste better), also rice is plain then hold the flavor tuna provide in. Also get takoyaki. This restaurant takoyaki is special. Their sauce made by miso+butter. Provide a salty flavor. The takoyaki use corn flour instead of regular wheat flavor. ---hashpuppy. The pour some honey understand. So sweet+salt. Hot vs cold(sauce). They control the sweetness and salt level in a good ratio So will not feel one side is too much. I cannot say like it or not because it is something I didn't try before. It is special. Izakaya is all super good! They all a little bit salty for me. I really love the wagyu one. Others like chicken meatball, steak skirt,......all super good. Maybe next time I will ask chef put less salt on it. We order two Ramen: Tonkotsu: creamy pork broth. It is delicious, thick and creamy. I don't like the noodle part because it is still more hard texture. This actually really depends on different people preference. We also get abura soba. Overall taste is good. This is my favorite restaurant in Nashville. It used to be just a special occasion for us but I go every chance I get now. As a vegetarian, they have many great and delicious options. I always get their shoyu ramen and at least one skewer (the avocado is my current fave). You also cannot go wrong with literally any of their cocktails, they are all delicious. We've heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and wanted to try it for ourselves. They have covered outdoor seating, which is perfect for a breezy day. For small plates, we got the rock shrimp and spicy tuna crispy rice. Both were tasty, but portions were quite small. We also got pork belly, skirt steak and wagyu/shishito peppers yakitori. The pork belly was delicious - juicy, melts in your mouth, would recommend. The skirt steak was good, but the wagyu wasn't worth it imo. The service was ok, we asked him for some recommendations and he basically said that he doesn't have time to go through the entire menu, so he'll only answer any specific questions. came here a few weeks ago for dinner and had a decent time. for appetizers, I ordered the crispy Brussel sprouts. they were tasty but nothing spectacular. for my main, I had the tonkotsu which was rich and flavorful. Stopped in for lunch with a friend. I decided on the tuna poké bento box. It came with a salad with ginger dressing, brussel sprouts, shiitake gyoza, wonton chips and some tuna poké on top of rice. The tuna poké was super disappointing. It had chilli oil and apples in it that really did not pair well together. The apple was way too tart, but the fish quality itself was the main letdown. It was chopped into fine cubes and had a dry texture and off taste oddly similar to grocery store sushi. I was not expecting for the quality to be so poor considering Two Ten Jack is a pretty nice restaurant. I loved the plants & lights, very Asian zen. Started off with drinks. I really liked my Japanese gin and tonic. I forgot what my friends ordered but it was the red tequila drink. They weren't a fan of it. Our server was really helpful and friendly. I got the tonkotsu ramen, it was really salty. I don't know if I got the bottom of the pot or what. Another friend got the tori ramen, it tasted oily or like collards (just ok). The crispy brussles were not crispy but definitely salty. Jfc was crispy but salty, dumplings were good. This is the 3rd time we've been here in the past few years & I can say it has consistently been an enjoyable dining experience. Had a reservation for Saturday @ 5:45 & were sat immediately. I'd say you definitely need a reservation for weekends if you want a guaranteed table. Parking lot is large & usually not an issue but it can get full at peak times. We ordered the Japanese fried chicken, shishito peppers, wagyu gyoza, pork belly yakitori, & tonkotsu ramen. Everything was good. The JFC was incredibly hot, juicy, & crispy, & went perfectly with the negi dip. Shishito peppers weren't too spicy & were seasoned nicely. Wagyu gyoza were very good, but honestly not worth $11 for 4 small pieces. Pork belly yakitori was incredibly tender & the fatty portion nearly melts in your mouth. Tonkotsu ramen broth is so creamy & savory, but I will say I rank the ramen noodles themselves behind Black Dynasty & Otaku. They were a bit on the firmer side & took a little more effort to chew than I'd like. The food itself is a 5/5 but the "small plates " in particular are a bit pricey. Unfortunately, many of the "small plates" do not come with smaller prices. Highly suggest looking at some photos before ordering as you'll get 4-5 bites of food for the cost of an entree at $11-$13. Makes sharing a little tricky if you don't know how small some portions are. They do have a great cocktail menu which is appropriately priced & the service was excellent. Overall a fantastic dining experience with a great atmosphere. Worth checking out! Just keep in mind some of the small plates are not worth their price in terms of portion size. read more

We had a hard time trying to find the entrance to Two Ten Jack. We finally found it through entering the patio. We arrived on a Friday night and it was quite packed but we put our names on the list and was able to get seats at the bar about 15 minutes later. There are no paper menus so you have to use your cell phone to hover over the QR code in front of you to access the food and drink menu. Overall Two Ten Jack had a hustle and bustle feel to it with the lighting that somewhat dark and had a speakeasy feel to it. The noise level was manageable even though it was busy. The food came out relatively quickly. I ordered the Tonkotsu ramen. Tonkotsu is pork flavored broth so it is more buttery in texture and creamy in appearance than chicken broth. The ramen was not overcooked and came with a slice of pork loin that was tender. The broth was authentic and flavorful, however, I added chili oil and miso paste which was an additional dollar each. Because of the add-ons the ramen definitely had a more robust flavor. read more

Really liked this place overall! It's definitely slightly overpriced but I'll overlook that component for this review. Crispy rice was my favorite thing on the menu! Sooo good. We also ordered the ramen dish that the bar tender recommended - the broth was delicious but I wish we had the option to get it with the thicker ramen noodles. I know that traditional ramen has thinner noodles so they aren't wrong, I just personally prefer the thicker ramen noodles. Also had the poke - it was fresh tuna, but definitely had some interesting flavors that you don't normally find it poke. Overall loved the vibe of this place and the dishes! We've wanted to try Two Ten Jack for several years, and the stars aligned last night. It's a Japanese Izakaya; that is to say, a bar that features creative cocktails and a menu composed mostly of small bites. We made a res on line and were seated promptly on arrival. The greeter was particularly enthused about the food to be served; always a good sign. We started with the Sake Punch. It's as balanced a cocktail as I've ever had. A little sweet, a little savory, and all the flavors were complementary. Not too boozy; you could have several of these over the course of an evening. We ordered across the breadth of the menu; started with Waygu Gyoza and the crispy rice with spicy tuna. I could have ordered three courses of each and been happy with my meal. The Gyoza were clearly hand made; the wrappers were delicate with good chew, and properly seared on the bottom. The filling was juicy and delish. The crispy rice with spicy tuna was three "rice tots" with spicy tuna on top and some eel sauce to balance it. Phenom. We then had some yakitori, for which this place is known. Shishito peppers stuffed with ground waygu, pork belly, skirt steak, and corn with spicy mustard and miso butter. Whoever is handling the robota grille at Two Ten Jack is a pro. Everything was cooked perfectly; just the right char, but nothing overdone. In fact, the skirt steak was probably one of the best cooked pieces of meat I've ever had. We finished with the Tonkatsu Ramen. For her, it was the epitome of soup. For me, it was the least successful part of the meal. I prefer the hand made noodles found at other Ramen shops in Nashville. I'm not saying that it wasn't delicious; it was fine, but just not up to the amazing standard of the rest of the meal. The total for our feast and a shared cocktail was $100 including a generous tip. The service was friendly, but a little spotty; however, we have been giving servers and bartenders a lot of grace since the COVID pandemic, so there's that. So glad we stopped into Two Ten Jack for date night. Let's get into it. We walked in on a Saturday night and we're able to get two seats at the bar for immediate seating. Sweet. I love the menu set up. I love small tapas plates that you can share so this menu did not disappoint. We can an assortment of yakitori and a few other bites like the crispy rice with tuna, tuna poke, and my boyfriend got some sashimi. The cocktails were equally as good. I got an old fashioned and my boyfriend tried some Japanese whiskey neat. Definitely recommend this spot! Probably one of my favorite restaurants in Nashville that equals delicious food that has both a balance of intimate (booth) and fun (bar) seating. I've been numerous times and typically will order the same stuff (sue me) but I always try one never tried before dish. The jalapeño yellowtail and crispy rice tuna are probably my favorite. The yellowtail was a nice blend of citrus and spice with the crispy rice tuna being extremely savory. There is a dish that I don't think is on the menu anymore but it was like deep fried salmon with potato salad on the top and some type of jalapeño slaw on the side. Forgot the name but absolutely fantastic. They take walk ins but you could likely wait a bit on the weekends. Parking lot out front so seamless experience really. I absolutely loved it! I didn't really know what to expect but the broth was creamy, the meat was tender, the egg was cooked perfectly, and the flavors came together so nicely. The salmon nigiri was also good and the fish tasted fresh and had a nice texture. A few people tried the hand roll bowls and some yakitori and everyone enjoyed what they ordered.
