Updating my review to say I love my clip sofa and ottoman! This is one of Richmond's coolest furniture stores. I love that you can dine on the furniture and that there is really yummy food and drink here. Back in May 2025, my fiancé and I decided we wanted to get each other a couch for our anniversary. They were having an awesome sale on the clip products for Memorial Weekend here. We knew from previous times that we really liked that sofa and wanted to wait a little to see if there were any upcoming sales. At the time, they were looking for a new furniture salesperson, so someone from the restaurant team took our info. She was the one who shared the sale with us. We had a pretty good experience ordering our clip sofa and ottoman. I love how customizable each piece is. They were beyond patient and kind with us while we ordered. The person who helped us was kind, but there were a lot of technical issues that made the ordering process take a long time. The timeline for our couch to arrive was also delayed. It came a few weeks later than expected. The delivery men were really kind too though! The clip products are quality pieces and really pretty. We get a lot of compliments on our couch. I highly recommend getting the ottoman with it so you can turn it into an L couch or have something to put your feet up on. read more

Since I just reviewed Stock, I might as well review Txtur too! To be clear, most everything in their showroom is out of my price range. But if I stumble upon money one day in the future, Txtur will be my first choice to revamp my space! They do have some cutesy holiday decor that is reasonably priced, and their holiday tree had some really cute ornaments this past season. The folks working are quite friendly and gave us some history on the store and its plans for expansion on our last visit. It's definitely worth a perusal! read more

We had the best dining experience at Stock Bistro & Bar! The food was absolutely amazing and the business is such a unique idea. The restaurant is located in a furniture store. You can choose to eat in the dedicated dining area, the outside patio, or right in the furniture showroom. We chose the showroom and were able to walk around and check out all the furniture while we waited for our food. We started with the fried gouda, which were like massive egg rolls and completely full of cheese, and the mermaid's fate cocktail, which was a sweet lemon drink. Our entrees were the schnitzel sub and fried oyster sandwich. The rolls for both were so soft and fluffy. The schnitzel and oysters were fried perfectly and tender inside. Even the fries were seasoned well. We ended the meal with the cookies & pot de creme and it was very chocolatey and decadent. Overall, our visit was such a lovely treat for lunch and we couldn't recommend it more! Reservations can be made on OpenTable and they have their own parking lot. read more

We visited Stock Bistro and Bar on the recommendation of a friend. What a cool environment. We requested to sit in the showroom and were very happy with our decision. The happy hour specials from 3-6pm are great. We tried the red and white wines on HH and enjoyed both of them. I had the steak and my husband had the rainbow trout both of which were delicious. We also tried the gouda eggrolls and all three desserts. All six of us enjoyed the dinner and would highly recommend the restaurant. We will visit again! read more

Went for happy hour earlier this week not knowing what exactly to expect. I was not disappointed! The happy hour had great drinks, wine and food. We got the stock board which was more than enough for 2 people to share. What a treat! The cheeses and pickled veggies were a great addition to the already amazing selection of smoked fish. The happy hour red was a super easy sip. The bar was great but next time, I'm going to grab a seat at one of the tables in the furniture store! Dont hesitate to move around and make yourself at home. Stock was a great experience. It is such a cool concept to have a restaurant in a furniture showroom! They also have a nice Nordic inspired dinning room if you want a more intimate setting. Attended an event here recently and loved the vibe. I hadn't heard of this place before and was enticed to try after looking at the menu. Good food, friendly staff, and lovely ambience. Parking was a breeze as well. Will definitely come again when I'm in the area. We loved the Trout and the "Surly Temple" mocktail. read more

Txtur itself is a furniture store and inside is Stock Bistro. The furniture shop is beautiful itself and you can sit inside the store on any furniture to eat/drink or in their dining space. The people are super friendly and personable. The food was so delicious. We got the fried Gouda, which is an aged Gouda, and the dipping sauce was spicy and perfect to pair with it. In addition, we got the open faced chicken salad sandwich, which was light, but very flavorful. The meatball sandwich had a great boysenberry jam and veal crème fraiche that combined to create a balanced sauce. Highly recommend this hidden gem! read more

I love the location and the concept of eating in the store. I actually got a reservation for the dinning room and I wish I had picked to eat in the shop. There are several two tops in the dining room all in a row and you end eating very close to each other. We got a bottle of wine and it was a good Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc for the price point ($30). They had several wines you could get by the glass and many different price points for bottles. We tried two small plates, the Smelt and the Fried Gouda. The Fried Gouda is delicious and looks like an egg roll. I am telling you now, DO NOT eat the fried Gouda like an egg roll. It will explode hot cheese oil all over your face and table. Use a fork and knife or you will regret it. The spicy sauce it came with was okay but not my favorite. We loved the smelt! The dipping sauce (dill tartar sauce) was also great. It's a good portion too. Plenty for a table of four. It was a lot for a two person dinner. I wish there was a half size option. I got the schnitzel and it was pretty good! I would have liked maybe some more salt and a spritz of lemon to brighten it up. The mushrooms were lovely and plentiful. My spouse got the Smørrebrød of Cold Smoked Duck. The duck tasted good, but the overall sandwich was missing something. It was just kind of dry even with topping it with cucumber salad. Got to try out the new Stock Bistro & Bar, in the TXTUR furniture store. It is Scandinavian/ Norwegian food. My girlfriends and I got to get seats in the showroom which was really cool, I highly recommend that selection over the traditional dining room just make sure you select that when making reservations on Open Table. We got the Kapsalon (Chicken shawarma over fries and sambal sauce this was delish) Mushroom Knoepfle (awesome veggie dish, tons of wild mushrooms and asparagus, the knoepfle is similar to spaetzle which was soooo good) Smoked Trout (surprisingly crispy and tasty great combinations) , Duck Smorrebrod (which is like an open face sandwich, definitely different but good flavors), and the dessert Orange Chocolate cake ( this left something to be desired super dense and we wished it came with ice cream instead). Overall we all agreed that it was a great dinner option, I'd recommend the cute spot and would definitely come back! read more

Absolutely love this concept! The store has beautiful furniture, a warm and cozy vibe, and plenty of dining options including a bar, a lovely outdoor patio, or you can test out dining at one of the tables they have for sale. The menu is unique serving Nordic food. We tried the shawarma fries and schnitzel, and both were perfectly prepared. Decent selection of cocktails, beer, and they even had a few NA options. The service was great and our server was very kind and attentive. Even better, this restaurant has a parking lot! I've never dined at a restaurant/furniture store. What a unique experience. This bar is literally right across the street from my apartment building so I'm sure I will become a regular. Met a good friend of mine here for happy hour because we saw that they had half off wine bottles during their happy hour. Man this place did not disappoint. I really enjoyed this dining experience trying out a new cocktail and sipping on some chilled white wine ($11 a bottle) with a girlfriend. For food we ordered the stock board ($24 during happy hour) that was filled with charcuterie board goodies. My favorite items on the board were all of the different fish and fish dip, the capers, the crackers, cheese, little pickles and cucumbers. We went to Stock Bistro and Bar inside TXTUR last night to celebrate an early New Year's Eve. Josh was our amazing server. Courteous, helpful, and not annoying. Quick service. The meal was fantastic. I started with the Cauliflower soup - flavorful. Would love the recipe. As ever we order the bread basket for the table - always a must. I enjoyed the chicken, which was served with the most deliccious stuffing I think I have ever had. Two members of our party had the schnitzel. Tasty and flavorful. Interesting concept for a store/restaurant. Went for dinner with a group. Vibe is great, food is outstanding....but service was incredibly slow and not terribly attentive. That said, every spot/staff has an off night. Will definitely be back because, well, as stated, the vibe and food are excellent. Maybe next time I'll browse some furniture as well. read more

As fans of Scandinavia and its food we were very excited to finally try Stock for brunch. The pickled vegetables were delicious, the mushroom smorbrod was earthy and rich, the sandwiches were a hit, and the fries were excellent. My husband thought the quiche pastry was too thick but otherwise delicious. We checked out the furniture too and will be back for both soon. read more
