From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, it was obvious this place is popular. The lot was completely full, and once inside, the bustling crowd confirmed it.
We were a group of 14, and despite the size of our party, they had a table ready for us and even had our food pre-ordered. My aunt had called ahead, and the staff accommodated everything seamlessly, excellent service and impressive organization.
We started with two varieties of baked oysters: one with a sweet, buttery flavor and another with garlic butter. Both were absolutely delicious. We also ordered the sweet-and-sour prawns, which were impressively large and cooked perfectly. The battered fried shrimp were another hit, crispy, flavorful, and well-prepared.
The highlight of the meal was the "Angel Wings," also known as Diwal. These unique shellfish have white shells shaped like angel wings, making the name very fitting. They were incredibly juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and seasoned just right. Definitely a must-try if you're visiting.
The only downside was the open-air dining setup. Since there's no air conditioning, it can get quite warm and uncomfortable on a hot, humid day. Aside from that, we had a wonderful dining experience and would gladly come back. read more
