Didn't come here to rent a truck (although they have many available for very decent prices). Instead I just simply needed some boxes. Seems simple enough, right? Well, little did I know, boxes come in every shape and size imaginable. I was kinda overwhelmed lol. Located off Montana near Hyundai of El Paso, this little gem not only has every size U-Haul truck you can want/need, but also has a storage lot (storage units) on site for you to store your belongings. And when it comes to packing, they literally have everything you can imagine from wardrobe boxes to tape to scissors and markers and everything. The boxes are reasonably priced (considering), but they are cheaper if you buy it in bundles. The bundles are clearly marked and you can get sets of 10-20 of whatever sizes you need. I wasn't sure what sizes I'd need. The extra large was too big. The Small was too small. The fancy boxes with clothes racks or dishes sections etc were just too fancy. So I was stuck between medium and large. Now the bundles are all one size, no mix and match. So what would I get? Well the super friendly staff was right there to assist me and we decided on large boxes. Bought a set of 15. Now then it worked out, but had it not, there's an awesome "catch". Let's say you needed a different size. Or, you didn't need all 15 in your bundle. NO PROBLEM!!!! As long as the box hasn't been used, no tape no nothing, just folded up flat in its original condition, THEY WILL BUY IT BACK FROM YOU FULL PRICE!!! Yup. Just take the unused boxes back and you're good to go. And dude even loaded the 15 pack bundle into my car for me. Such a gentlemen. (I have a bad back and 15 folded flat boxes are cumbersome and heavy lol. Don't judge me). I don't know much about U-Haul stores, but this one on Montana is the bees knees, Mayne! read more

Dust free (or barely there if at all) is a HUGE plus in this big sandbox I lovingly call home. Yes, its more expensive than some, but for me, the peace of mind is priceless. My wife and I reserved a tow dolly to tow one of our vehicles for a move. Driving through the night and packing up our entire lives was already a stressful event, the last thing i needed was a stressful trip to U-Haul, which is what i expected. Man was I wrong. First, i had to delay my appointment two hours because the movers were at my house, and surprisingly that was no issue for the staff. Second, when i got there, i had absolutely no clue what i needed in order to tow the vehicle. Leonardo, the general manager, dropped everything to come take a look at my vehicle to see what i needed in order to make everything operational. Once we got past that point, one of the employees helped us hook the dolly up to my vehicle. Well, the right light on the trailer wasn't illuminating. He identified that the issue was with my vehicle and not the dolly, so he spent 20 minutes under the hood of my car trying to identify and remedy the problem. We learned that it was a large fuse that they didn't have in hand, but again, Leonardo to the rescue. He told me that he could rewire my light in the car and make the dolly brake light work. They took my car into the garage immediately and started working on it. Literally 4 of the employees were teaming together to work on my car so i could hit the road. 30 minutes went by, and they found the source of the issue. One of the prongs under my back bumper were bent and was not sending the electrical current to the trailer. They bent it back in place and VOILA, everything worked. He came back to me to tell me that i was good to go. Free of charge. Oh and by the way, i had my one year old daughter with me, and Leonardo offered up his personal office in case we needed to lay her down or change a diaper. I can't explain how incredibly polite and helpful every member of this location was. In all honesty, this was the most pleasant customer service experience I've ever had in my life. DO NOT USE! They provided my fiancé with a rundown vehicle that had little to no Brakes!!!! Almost crashed because of poor maintenance. My fiancé told them about it and they said "They weren't aware of it" which means they do not check on their vehicles regularly. Don't use if you want to live. read more

Super positive experience. We're a military family and this was our first long distance move. We used a 26 ft u-haul truck and it worked perfectly. We returned the truck to U-haul Moving & Storage at El Paso Airport, 876024 and left. Afterwards we visited family for a week, returned and started to unpack not realizing that we had forgotten our 2 MacBooks wedged behind the seat until we needed them (about 2 weeks after the return). We drove to the U-haul half panicked/half defeated and explained our situation to Leonardo Rubalcaba. He was very helpful and we went home tentatively hopeful. Amazingly he called the next day having located and retrieved our PCs! We were very impressed with the integrity and professionalism at this location. We will absolutely use this u-haul location with our future move and wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone else! read more

I recommend u-hula for the simple fact that it's convenient. It isn't the prettiest or most flattering service, but it's local and I was able to get my situation situated. I was amazed that they had an app which FYI made the process that much faster and easier. The app is user friendly and much easier than checking in at the register. You add your credit card info, couple pictures of your drivers license and sign the agreement of services you'll be selecting along with any insurance you feel you might need. It was simple and easy and the guy at the register was Able to walk me through the rest of the process via the app. I didn't even have to pull out my wallet once you add your credit card information and photos of your drivers license. Once completing the steps (which in total might have been like 8 steps via the app) the front store employee walked me over to the vehicle and it's location in the parking lot, he instructed me to provide any pictures and of course update the mileage and fuel levels of the truck upon starting the engine. Then I was off. All in 15 min or less of arriving at the location. Keep in mind I made the reservation just yesterday and picked up the 17" truck the following morning. Done and done. I was made aware of the costs upon choosing my payment. And of course if you go over the estimated use of mileage they will charge you accordingly upon return of the truck. In addition this is my first time using the app and or any moving services. Therefore, being my first time.. It's why I recommend despite the prior reviews. Disclaimer I am a local and I am moving within city limits so my drive and or use of this company is not for an extensive time frame. I hope this helps. read more

Moving out of El Paso! These guys are helpful and if you're military they cover the tax if you show your orders. It works with permissive TDY too. We've used them for storage and it worked out well. They did overcharge us for extra days that they said we would get for free but once we called and explained, they honored it with no issue. read more

It's been said that if it's too good to be true, it is. Well, manager Christopher at this fine facility makes a lie of that cliche. I was so impressed and pleased with how well, friendly, professional, & quickly Christopher handled my return of a 4 x 8 box trailer that had just been on the road for 3 days coming from RollaMO-USA. Not only did this trailer track extremely well behind my 2008 Ranger, it also had a long tongue on it which permitted me to carry my long Doublevision (tandem recumbent bicycle) sticking 2 feet/1 meter out of the back on the truck bed. There was no contact nor interference between the two. Anyway, the point is that, even though Christopher was wrapping up other business, he adeptly handled this now-empty trailer and I was freed of the responsibility for it another night.
