I posted one 4 years ago so this is a second review and I don't know if it will post properly. As mentioned in the previous one, one needs to know it's not climate controlled so it may dictate what you feel comfortable storing there (I briefly had a piano there at one time but I wouldn't have wanted to leave it long term). Only one hiccup in the many years I've used the facility, so that's pretty good. Customer service is excellent, and that is extremely important to me.

Hopefully there are no rogue cameras but I don't trust the cleaning staff after breaking into the bathroom while my wife was using it, even though she declared occupied. Their 'company policy - which they couldn't fully explain the rationale behind to me, on the phone - was that they don't accept a BC Services Card as valid ID. Funny, because this is what the government of BC says about that: "A BC Services Card is government-issued ID. You can use it at places that ask for photo ID to verify your identity or age. For example, when opening a bank account." So you can open a bank account with it, but not get a storage locker here? My partner was getting the rental unit for us, and when they refused him, I rented it in my name and they called me to ask why his name was associated with it. When I tried to explain that it's for both of our belongings (how else would you book for two people under one credit card, in the first place?) the manager accused me of being shady. Wtf?! I've lived here for over 15 years and never in my life have I had to deal with someone who clearly can't see their prejudice. From what it sounds like, they judged and refused him service based on appearance and are using the 'ID policy' as a lame excuse. Would love to take my business anywhere but here. We also now have to wait 4 business days for our pre-payment(s) to be refunded. The worst experience.

For $39.95/day (less than $32 USD) I got a brand new Honda Civic for a couple of days. They also…read moreadvertised luxury cars which they might have at another location if you reserve ahead of time. They had a small number of cars on site (about 5 civics, a few larger cars and a truck) which was enough for what I was looking for. It was nice to rent from a small place since normally we rent cars from the large companies like Alamo, Avis, and have to wait in long lines to get the keys and long lines to get out of the airport etc. My entire extended family rented a house nearby and we had too many butts to fit comfortably into the other 2 vehicles we had, so having this car rental place nearby was very convenient. LOCATION: North Vanvouver on Marine Drive, near Capilano. SERVICE: Excellent service on the phone and in person. They also have pickup and drop off service to nearby locations. Note: They put a $500 hold on my credit card during the rental period, and they took pictures of the car at every angle before they gave me the keys. So I took pictures of the car before I drove off the lot and then again when I returned it too.

They gave me a great discount on the first three months. The service was always friendly; the entire building was clean, well-lit, and felt very secure. It's all do-it-yourself, but they made it easy, with a big loading bay to park in, and plenty of dollies to move heavy items around. My only complaint is that the hours could be a bit longer (since I worked, I could really only get there on the weekends - this generally worked out fine for me, but if I had been storing things for the long-term, it might have been difficult). Otherwise, if you need a clean, dry, secure place to store your stuff, whatever it might be, this is a great location. They have all kinds of storage units - from the very small to quite large.
