I am in the service industry and could not believe how Anthony went out of his way to make calls for me to assist in helping me get a solution to my issue. If they would do that for someone who had not rented from Carters, imagine how they treat their customers. If I ever need a rental in Hamilton, it will be with Carters, thank you for making me believe there are still great companies out there!

He took my number and said he or one of his staff would call back within the HR. 15 minutes later we got the call from Cheryl, she said that they would have a truck but needed 45 min to have it ready....WOW, not only did they call back but went out of there way to help us out when things were not looking good. I will never look elsewhere when I need to rent a vehicle. They went above what was expected and have earned my business for life.

All four bolts were not even tightened! The was the first time I ever used this hitch! I'm a mechanic! Come on! Motive your staff! Get them to do safe jobs! If I ever had time for myself like I actually have today to use the truck and trailer I'd be flying. But today I have to get dirty. Redo your careless work! Fix it! Educate your team!

June 10th, I'm…read morenotified by U-Haul that the only truck available in ALL of Ontario was a 20' truck in St. Catherine's, ON. An hour's drive away. Only one problem. I didn't have access to a car. So it would've been 14 hour walk. Look, I get it if it's not in your business model to have staff drive the requested trucks, or even just what's available, to the requested pick-up location. But you're telling me in 2022, you don't have software with an algorithm to determine what trucks are available at what locations that's close to what your request was? Even if you haven't taken that logical step, you're telling me it takes you 10 FREAKING BUSINESS DAYS for your team to assess that it's not possible. I'm sorry. Get with the times. This is not an acceptable level of service. I challenge someone with the funds to do so to take on U-Haul. Their level of service is absolutely atrocious. They are ripe for the picking to be taken down and replaced with a fair superior service with only a common sense business model and some modern day techniques. Until then, I'll simply never use their service again. NEVER!
