Be honest about your job hunt and what you're looking for. Don't be afraid to ask for help in areas that you struggle with. For my first meeting, I discovered a useful website that will show local salary ranges to better prepare myself when negotiating salary requirements. I also got some really good feedback on how to improve my resume. Both these services were free. If you are a veteran, or have a disability, there are a wealth of resources available to ensure you find a job that meets your needs. I am thankful for this government resource and left the center feeling hopeful about my job search.
