Although they don't have all the bells and whistles or accessibility like a Wells Fargo, they make up for it with customer service and consistency. I had a situation in which my card was charged erroneously. I filled out the form for this and faxed it in. I had supporting documentation too. It took forever to get resolution but I liked that the bank credited me the money back while they pursued the business.

I went directly there and tried to deposit 2 large checks in my account that I have had for years and they denied them saying they would bounce?? I said I was told a manager could approve them. Wasn't offered a manager. Their loss, went to GreenState CU opened a checking, saving and money market accounts there without ever being a customer before. Asked them why they were able to cash the checks and Affinity wouldn't. They said they had no idea because they were both certified checks so they couldn't bounce. GreenState made it very easy and now they get to hold on to my money. Thinking about getting a CD there too.
