We needed to mail some cards to family members so we stopped here to pick up some stamps and mail what we had. The staff here is very friendly and in the course of the conversation with the desk clerk she told guys about a strange occurrence they had recently. Seems a rooster has decided to take up residence in the bushes outside of the building. he has become a regular attraction and the local TV station has even come out and filmed a story about him. They have named him Rufus. The Postmaster came out and tried to get him to come out by throwing out some food but, he is very shy and would not show himself. We had a fun time trying but, never got a photo. What a hoot in a small town USA. read more
