I had the worst experience at the KwikShop on 1st and Cornhusker…read more Apparently, at that location, if one has 3 $1 lottery coupons one must select 3 $1 tickets, and cannot select 1 $3 ticket. I was told differently by the Nebraska Lottery Official who gave me a bunch of coupons. So I had $30 worth of $5 and $1 dollar coupons, plus a $3 winner. I hand the cashier my coupons and asked for 11 Lotterias. (A $3 ticket) She said OK and scanned all my coupons. She then asked me what tickets I wanted. I told her again, 11 Lotterias. THEN I was informed of the store policy of only $1 tickets for $1 coupons, etc. "Well that would have been nice to know before you scanned all my coupons. The Lottery Official who gave them to me told me otherwise." Which then erupted into a whole big thing, another, more experienced cashier taking over and arguing with me, and calling "the boss" and bullshit bullshit bullshit. All of which could have been avoided had the cashier 1) repeated my request back to me, and 2) actually looked at the coupons BEFORE scanning them all!! In the end, I did walk out with my 11 Lotterias, but it all could have been avoided had the cashier been paying attention. This was Monday, Dec 17, at around 4pm. I have already contacted their LSR.
