The owners of Superior Self Storage were SO kind and eager to answer my questions and help me in so many ways. The facility was nice, they were actively updating it when I moved in. Matt, one of the owners, was always available when I needed to ask a question. he also went out of his way to make sure I felt safe on the property. Genuinely their prices were the best I found in all of Fort Wayne, I have been thrilled with the service I received. I was a customer of this facility for 7.5 years... until today…read more The facility is actually very clean and secure. However, the new manager is very unprofessional and rude. The long and short of it is that the new owners changed their storage rules. And without informing me, they unplugged some low amp trickle chargers that I had connected to my classic motorcycle collection, ruining two batteries and making it nearly impossible for me to move the 5 motorcycles that I had stored. They never informed me when the disconnected the power. Just let the batteries die with no notice. So after speaking to the new manager, I decided to move from the facility. He would not let me charge the batteries or use any power to re-inflate the low tires so I could move. Then today as I was moving out, he decided to come to the unit and confront me instead of just letting me move the last 2 bikes out. When I told him to leave me alone and let me continue to move out, he actually called the police and told them I threatened him! anyway, the police were fine with me and I got my bikes out of there to a much better facility. It's too bad that they are so bad with their customer service. And that manager needs to find a job where he doesn't have to deal with people!

We hired MVM Moving & Storage to move our 2-story home based on a quote for two trucks, three…read moremovers, and 6 hours of labor. On moving day, only one truck arrived, creating major space and efficiency issues. The crew worked slowly, overused plastic wrap, packed the truck carelessly, and several items were damaged during the move. Because one truck wasn't enough, my husband and I had to make five additional trips across town ourselves. The move took over 8 hours, and during delivery the driver allegedly damaged our brand-new driveway while backing in. Boxes were also unloaded without regard to room labels, creating additional frustration. After nearly two weeks of trying to resolve the issues, MVM denied responsibility for the damages and failed to provide a satisfactory solution. While the company claims it conducted an internal review, we feel it has refused to take accountability for the actions of its crew. Overall, our experience was marked by poor preparation, property damage, damaged belongings, and a lack of customer service. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend MVM Moving & Storage and encourage others to carefully research their options before hiring them.

The manager at that time was decent guy and refunded us $1700 for the incident and the amount that was over the original quote. Decided to try them again a few years later. They will quote you a low price upfront and tell you it won't go over that amount and then end up charging you $1,000 min. over the original quote. Workers will damage your items and take no accountability and they expect you to have photo evidence of them damaging the items when it happens. If they tell you a price it will never be what they quote.

Ian and his team went above and beyond from day one. On the day he came to give me an estimate they helped even on that day! I had 15 years of life to move so it was no small project, and this team was constant motion to complete the whole move in a day. I very literally could have never done it without them. And while I feel like never ever moving again now, if I did, I'd call Ian again without a doubt.

I requested them to pack everything and move it. They lied about the materials that they said they…read morewould provide for the job. They under-quoted the amount of time that it was going to take to complete the move even after all information about the move that they requested was provided to them prior. Once they realized it was going to take longer than the amount of time quoted to me by them, they got in a big hurry and just started throwing my items carelessly into trash bags. They did not care about the items, and some items were broken, and other items "mysteriously" came up missing. They did not bring boxes for the move like I was told, instead bringing trash bags only to pack everything in them with out any way to tell what was in them, making un packing stressful and a nightmare for me. They left a bunch of items at the old address for which I myself had to go back FOUR separate times to retrieve my items, that they determined on their own that the items were trash, with out asking me if the items needed to be included in the move or not, they just left them there. They would have left all of my food in the refrigerator and freezer, if I would not have asked them if they packed it or not. I firmly believe that Ian completely lied to me about his so called company, supposed satisfied customers, and I know he lied about the boxes and packing tape that he said he would bring. Then when going back to the old address to make sure everything had been packed, and finding out that all the items in the bathroom were not packed along with a few other items, I told Ian that these items needed to be packed and moved. He very rudely replied, "Can I get paid!". Then once he proceeded to rip the shower curtain off the wall of the bathroom with the shower curtain still attached to the rod, threw all of my bathroom items in a trash bag, drove over to the new address, opened up the door and just threw the stuff on the floor and couch, and left as quick as he could. Ian made the moving process that was already stressful for me, even more stressful by lying and misrepresenting himself to gain my business. Do not waste your time hiring this company, or else you will regret it. I know I regret hiring them.

I called Hoover and spoke with Darlene - who is Amazing I might add. She not only made our move happen but also got us an earlier time slot than we had with the other company. Reno and Isaiah F showed up to move my parents and were absolutely Fantastic. Quick, efficient and not one thing was knocked or damaged. Since they wouldn't honor the pricing from the other location (4miles down the road) I decided to just cancel the reservation altogether. With no other options I went back over to see if there was someone else working that would help. Young man was super nice and told me that walk in pricing was more than renting online, said he would walk me through it. I explained that I had already done it once before and could do it again. $20 per month cheaper than if he had just done it while I was there. Nice clean location just ridiculous pricing model.
