That said it was packed the whole time. They had a great selection of draught beers. The Sunday roast (I had the beef and he has the salmon) was fabulous and way more than any one person could eat! My beef cake with a mini Yorkshire pudding and for the table we got served roasties, mash, cabbage, and carrots and swede. Apparently dessert was option but I couldn't even finish my main. Three very young waitresses, poor listening skills, busy chatting with each other. They did get busy when a middle aged man showed up (owner?) ;-) Food ordered: fish and chips came with side salad. Chips arrived lukewarm and limp; fish ok; tartar sauce lacking any personality as did the side salad. Perhaps: come for the music not the food or service.
