Well called them and got me in the same day. It was great to walk into computer place and not see pieces of computers all over the place. The gentleman that greeted and waited on me was polite and listened to my problem, he said he'd take a look at it and that it may be a virus but could be maybe the time had come for new computer. As it turned out after the ran through several tests, mine had meet its end, based on age etc. They felt a new one was the cheapest way to go, and that's what I did. My brother needed a new speaker for his iPhone 12 ProMax. We took it to Best Buy. They said it…read morewould cost $89 and it would take 45 minutes but we'd have to make an appointment. We took it back the next day for the repair. They couldn't fix it, didn't have the part, and said we'd have to wait for them to order the part from Apple (a week to ten days) and that Apple forced Best Buy to hold the phone all that time because they feared we wouldn't actually buy the speaker. Let me just say the Geek Squad is going downhill very fast and we took the phone back. Still inside Best Buy I started googling, I called a local business who quoted me $199. I moved on to the next local listing, the Cell Phone Doctor.. They were closed, but I left a message and was awakened the next morning by a return call from Bill (Moore), the Cell Phone Doctor. I was already surprised! He quoted me $50 for a new speaker or $35 if he could just take the back off and clean it. Well that was certainly worth a shot! Next day we went to the Cell Phone Doctor (located in Surfside Beach inside JerriBob's Pack and Ship) who took the phone for about 5 minutes then handed it back and said, "How does this sound?" OMG!! The sound was like new!! We were all thrilled!! When we went to leave, we learned that he didn't;t even charge us, because he didn't even have to take the back off. Just cleaned it from the outside. I had to buy a new iPad because The Geek Squad couldn't figure out why my iPad had stopped working either - ! And even though I have a new one, I can hardly wait to bring my old one to Bill, The Cell Phone Doctor!! I'll bet he can fix it!! (And I don't think it's too late to bring it back!!) I have definitely found my new go-to phone / iPad guy! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BILL MOORE, THE CELL PHONE DOCTOR!!
