UBS tends to charge higher fees than more local banks, but for non-French/German speakers, it's the easiest way to go. You can get documents in English and speak to English staff very easily. Service has always been good whenever I needed human help, although that's rare, as their ATMs, payment machines, and online offerings can take care of almost anything you'd need, and are usually intuitive to use. The Lausanne branch is in a particularly grand building, and is what I imagine it felt like to walk into a bank 80 years or so ago, with all employees dressed in business suits and formally greeting you.
