I'm pretty big on third wave coffee and this place has all the bells and whistles you expect walking into a third wave coffeeshop: a cold-brew coffee on the menu, flat whites, brewed coffee done in every way under the sun (French press, chemex, etc.) and a large assortment of espressos. I also liked how they had a pretty large smoothie and hot tea selection. I didn't try any but I did see a lot of people ordering smoothies so maybe they're worth a try. I ended up getting their cold-brew coffee and a meal later. The cold-brew came in this really interesting container that looked like something for holding syrup or some sauce but overall I enjoyed the cold brew. It was extremely smooth with some smoky overtones without much bitterness. I also got their meaty spaghetti later on and it was pretty satisfying! It definitely lived up to the name and it came with these garlic bread pan de sals that were definitely addicting and really satisfying. My only qualm was that I wish the noodles that were in the pasta were a bit more al dente, but that's more of a personal preference. The majority of the menu is oddly Italian/European/American eats. I got the 18-hour cold processed iced coffee. If this is just a cold brew, it's pretty weak for one and it tastes pretty bitter without acidity. Probably from dark roasted beans which is something that I don't see often at places that focus on single origin coffees. Also got the maple-something cold brew. It was 10% coffee, 15% syrup, 75% milk. I wouldn't get it again, but if you like sweet, milky lattes with barely coffee flavor, this drink is for you. Anyways, service was friendly and attentive, prices were pretty good for the area. Overall: I will probably study here for the next few weeks I'm here for the space, WiFi, and quiet!

It is found along the newer string of stores that occupy the space near the gym and the barangay hall. It has been open only for a few weeks, but it already has a steady following. The interiors are really cute and interesting. Downstairs, they have a few seating that prominently features a swing chair. Upstairs, you will find really woodsy interiors that remind you of being inside a small cabin. I love how cozy the place is. It just makes me want to settle down there with my computer or a book to read, and it would make just the perfect location to get some work done. What I also love about Theo's is the warm service that I always get from the hands-own owners who help out in the management of the place. Krystal (or however you spell her name) is always smiling and bubbly, and she always has great recommendations. I have been there several times to enjoy their cakes, which Krystal's husband apparently makes at home. I have tried their moist chocolate cake, which was superb (but not superb enough to beat my mom's secret recipe). I have also had their cinnamon buns to go, which was super nice, because it had the perfect amount of spice. I also love their cherry chocolate cake which is covered with white icing. The cakes are not that expensive, so you can always get more than one slice to indulge your sweet tooth. The coffee is so-so. I have to go back and experience more to actually have a fair opinion about their espresso.

Pretty much what you'd expect from that kind of establishment. While I haven't tried any of the rice meals yet, I do have to agree that the cheesecake is exceptionally good. It isn't too sweet nor is it bland. It's a good balance of sweet with a nice texture that isn't cloying or nakakaumay. Definitely worth coming back for. First impression though was that it looks like a pretty small place so even if they've got a second floor, you might want to wait until peak hours are over to come in for coffee.

It's a sweet lover's delight, and if you're watching your sugar count, you can forget it here. Their Double Ds are the best thing since Croughnuts.

I knew she loved desserts, and I decided to get a croughnut from Dolcelatte. For the uninitiated and inexperienced, a croughnut is a hybrid croissant-doughnut. You would just have to order one, and decide for yourself why everyone is raving about this. I ordered two of them, and when I greeted her with the cronuts in hand, she seemed to have forgotten all the other gifts that she received from her kids. She indulged in the mixture of the sweet flavor and the soft, flaky texture of the cronut, and thanked me graciously. Mission accomplished. For those who were excited by the idea of the cronut, a new trend is being set by Dolcelatte, and it's called the double doughnut. I have no idea why anyone would think putting a doughnut on top of another is a good idea, but you'd have to break my hands before I'd give you a taste of the wonderful texture that comes with this creation.
